Darci Lynne was amazing and I was really impressed by her vocal abilities -- she is so much more than a ventriloquist working with puppets! That being said, the venue was terrible for this show. The Junction Center is a big room with folding chairs set up in front of a stage, with a couple of rows of seating to the upper left. The room has no slant so you stare at the back of the person's head that is sitting in front of you. In addition, for this show, they would have greatly benefited from projection screens so that we could actually have a visual of Darci and the puppets. I won't return to this venue. 5 stars for Darci, 0 stars for The Junction Center.
I have to start with the artist. After waiting too many years for the right opportunity to see Darci Lynne, I must say the experience was even greater than I'd hoped. Having my 5 year old granddaughter and 9 year old grandson with me added much to the enjoyment as I was witnessed the sheer joy in their eyes at the unfolding magic of her show.
Darci Lynne is a very loveable and talented young woman. I wish I'd have had tickets for the following night too. I appreciate that she stuck with her ventriloquist act throughout this show but I must admit that I would not mind to see her straight out sing without her puppets. I really hope she enjoyed our area and would plan to come back & see us again in the near future. I'll be watching for her tour dates. I wish her all the success and happiness she desires.
I would like to add that I was very impressed with The Junction Center and all of their staff. I'll be looking for other shows and events at this venue.
Colton, The Sound and Cade Thompson's performance was excellent. The audience sang along with Colton on most of his songs. I actually attended to experience The Sound in person again and it was spectacular. The venue was perfect and five stars to the sound board operators. Look forward to additional shows at The Junction Center.
Hands down the BEST night ever, worshiping the Lord! Singing my favorite songs Up + Up and Provider! It was so amazing meeting Colton, Cade, and The Sound! They all have such amazing talent and you can tell they love the Lord so much, it felt like home!! 🫶
Intimate setting at this venue. Great food in Mezzanine seating. Great view from seats in balcony. A great variety of merchandise available. Was able to buy his new children's book and get it signed by him in person after the concert.
Amazing!
Christian or not this group rocked the house and were incredible! The bands before them were amazing as well. My daughters were new to this rock scene and instantly became Magdalene Rose fans, this girl can rock and her testimony inspired us all. What an incredible tour, I will never forget this experience.
The band was awesome, this was a bucket list item for me having started listening to Whitecross in the 80s and never having seen them before. The meet & greet for *everyone* afterwards was an unexpected bonus--I got pics and autographs w/Benny Ramos, Dave Roberts, and Rex Carroll. (The drummer was off doing his own thing). As a guitarist, Rex is an idol of mine so that was a real treat to watch/listen to him play and then meet him in person.
The mix was a little off--the kick drum and bass were overpowering at the beginning and made my chest hurt. They backed them off a little bit at some point but it wasn't enough, the vocals and guitar were still not far enough forward in the mix.
The venue has incredible potential, especially the mezzanine seating. However, the online seating chart had the numbers backward from what we actually received. We should have been the first two seats on the middle aisle but instead were the furthest seats from the stage. Fortunately, the row was pretty empty so the usher (who knew about the seating chart screwup), left us move up to pretty close to where we should have been. The other thing that was disappointing was that the mezzanine seats were supposed to come with hot hors d'oeuvres but for some reason there weren't any. We weren't notified that they wouldn't be provided until after we arrived which made things a bit difficult for me as a diabetic who needs to plan my food intake.
Overall, a thoroughly enjoyable experience with the aforementioned caveats!
Whitecross was FABULOUS!!! It was a great concert!! The sound was excellent!! They played about and hour and a half and it flew by. It was great to meet the band, get pictures and autographs. It wasn't just a 2 second picture and "move on", they took time to talk with the fans.
Looking forward to them coming around the area again.
Tenth Avenue North put on a wonderful show that was Christ centered and an amazing worship time! I will definitely be following where their concerts will be in the future because I hope to see them again live!
Wow! Really good! First time seeing Stephen and he did not disappoint. The event was very well organized but could have had more success if was advertised better. The Junction Center was an awesome place for a concert! Will definitely be going back there
I drove 2.5 hrs to see Petra and let me tell you something I was not disappointed at all the totally ROCKED the house John S was phenomenal. His voice was great. He didn’t miss a beat.
What a funny guy!! We laughed so hard and loud, as did all of the audience. Jeff is so relatable. He is also very friendly: he stopped to talk w/those who flocked to meet him after the show and took many selfies. We would definitely see him again. The venue was very nice too. Get mezzanine seats for a little extra cash if you want appetizers during the show. The paid staff and volunteers were very friendly.
First time at the Junction Center. Amazing venue…and Disciple was (as always) amazing. Hard to pin down what makes them rock so HARD…and have such SOFT hearts for God and others. Whatever it is, we could use so much more of it. Great night.
This was a fantastic concert! Jordan and his band did a great show and he is so down to earth and full love for the Lord. First time at the Junction Center and it was nice venue.
It was so wonderful. God was at the center of it all and we all worshipped him together.
Thank you Point of Grace for coming to the Junction Center.
Mark Shultz was awesome as well. Great night
Cory and his wife Anna are so down to earth and share how they are broken like all of us. Awesome concert and if he’s ever around here again I would go see him.
Thank you,
Kip
Behold The Beloved led off with an awesome set, followed by Disciple.... Anyone interested in Christian Rock/Metal should make it a point to see both of these bands. For them to hang around and sign autographs for EVERYONE in line was awesome and admirable.. Thanks WJTL, The Junction center and bandsintown.com... a MEMORABLE experience
It was powerful! Great Rock music bringing the news of Jesus' love and salvation! Kevin also brings that news of salvation through his talk and offers the opportunity to give your heart to Jesus if you are so lead through prayer. Outstanding!
Too bad that you dont have more then 5, because these guys really deserve it, from Rise Up to Radical, Kevin and the guys really brought it and Kevin's teaching was Holy Spirit led, he was definitely teaching us what Jesus wanted us to hear and the new song is the heaviest song they have done yet, if you are near any of the stops for the rest of the tour then go see them, music that speaks about Jesus and Kevin's teaching is more then worth the price of admission.
