This young man is good. The crowd loved him. I have always loved this venue. I'm seeing him in Birmingham and Atlanta.
I was not familiar with Lakeview prior to this show... they have a new fan. They were SOO good!!! I cannot wait to check them out again. Great music, great performers.... already added their stuff to my playlist on Spotify. Definitely check them out if you get the chance!
THEY WERE SOOOO GOOD! Considering there are no original members, if you closed your eyes, it would be hard to tell the difference.
Very entertaining. I love when musicians sing their songs exactly like it was originally recorded. Music was spot on & I could sing every word I knew.
The keyboard was on a rotatable platform. He played where it was behind him, played it backwards. You name it he played every way possible!
I have been singing Mr. Roboto for 2 days!
As far as the Wharf Amphitheater, we purchased a parking pass and a Foreigner VIP pass. You would think the entrance would be close to where we parked...WRONG!!!! IT WAS 99 degrees, which felt like 110. We were already hot and uncomfortable when we found out we had to walk around the entire grounds to get to our entrance. WE WERE NOT HAPPY :(
Get your act together when it comes to parking/entrances!!!
The show was amazing as always. Happy birthday again, my friend. I'm looking forward to nov.1 and 2nd in South carolina and Atlanta.
It was a great concert, very glad Friday night was added. KC and band was on top of their game. Song selection was spot on for the venue location. Our 3rd Kenny Chesney concert and I think the best. First time at this venue, it was better than expected. Weather started to sprinkle but ended comfortably with clear starry skies. Kelsea Ballerini was a great opening act! Very glad we went. Thank Brian & Eve
Incredible night, Jamey played some of his own music along with some covers (Waylon, Charlie Daniels, John Anderson, Vern Gosdin, Jerry Reed, etc.). He also debuted his new song “What A View”. In a world where old school, outlaw country is a dying breed, Jamey Johnson stands tall and keeps the genre alive and well. And thank God for that.
Jamey and the band did a great job. Played a few new songs from what appears to be from his new upcoming album “ What A View”. We are in for a treat when it’s released!
The venue was great. Cody Jinks was amazing. One of the best shows I’ve been to and I e been to a lot.
Great show, Billy Currington never disappoints. However, when you have traveled over 2 hours and paid a lot for a full concert show and only get a 50 minute festival set (before the encore) it's a disheartening. Billy has a massive library of songs and I would have loved for a few more to be included before he said goodnight.
Fantastic beautiful show. Played all of his hits and a couple of his brand new ones. He even stuck around after to sign anything and everything you handed him. I'll never forget this show. If he ever reads this Thank you for all your music Billy! It really saved my life.
BC has never disappointed me and this show was a memorable evening and Kip nailed it as well!
Absolutely amazing concert!! I had crappy seats at the very back, but I was still able to see the show pretty well. Jelly roll put on a hella good performance! So good that I’ve already bought my tickets for his beautifully broken tour show in Atlanta in October!
Let me start by saying that the 5* rating of this review is strictly for the Eric Church performance and not the venue. The musicianship of Eric and his band were unbelievable. Post concert, there were a lot of people complaining about the number of hits that he didn't play, but during the show he went out of his way to tell us that there would be three different shows for his three nights in Orange Beach, so it makes sense that we would only get a percentage of those if we only went to one show. Sure, I would have liked to have heard "Like a Wrecking Ball" or "Record Year", but ultimately, I got a great show and I personally prefer to be a little surprised by the setlist rather than just hearing a live version of a Greatest Hits album.
As for the venue. The parking is free and close to the entrance compared to most venues. There is not a bad seat in the house (I was literally in the last row and had a great view). However, the facilities themselves, while clean, are a complete disappointment. The bathrooms are poorly placed and insufficient, especially for the women. The concessions selections are comically limited. The seating throughout most of the venue is aluminum bench seating. Ultimately, it's a venue that should be excellent that is simply not.
Best concert I've seen in a long time. The stage was insane. He actually had a bridge built for the stage that he walks around on for his song Water under the bridge. It was 500 degrees in the wharf. 😳
It was hot as hell in the Wharf as usual but worth it. He puts on a great show.
