The Pavilion at Montage Mountain

They were alright. I was kind of expecting better, but for an opener they were just alright. I completely spaced out on all but one of their songs, which is not a good sign. The vocalist was constantly warbling lyrics out and barely left space for the instrumental. The bass was inaudible. The guitarist was... a strange kinda folk, but he was playing good, and he loved flicking his tongue at the crown.

Amazing show. The sound was very clear although the bass was buried, the energy was there from each member, and the venue was amazing for the show they put on. Phil's vocals were good but he had aged and is unable to really commit to the screams like on the albums. For a fan like me, who wasn't even born by the time Dimebag was assassinated, it was a pleasure to experience even a fraction of what the shows were like back then. My main issue is with Wylde. He is a great guitarist in his own right, but his constant pinch harmonics and incorrect playing of Walk kinda of ticked me off. He was playing Walk wrong, he wiggled the string instead of straight bending it. Other than that, it was amazing, and every solo was better than the last. Also great to hear Suicide Note Pt. 2 live, something they haven't played too much of before.

Great show. Blythe cutting the dreads was unexpected and I don't think even he knew how exactly to act without them, but he still belted out line after line and scream after scream with no issue. The rest of the band was on point as well, with no noticeable issues or mistakes. My seat was rather far so I was unable to see everyone well. I also couldn't really distinguish each instrument, the guitars and drums held the mix and did not let go, but I understand why. They're the focal point of attention after all.

Show was great. MIW was fantastic, of course! Didn't really care for the addition of the Cherry Bombs, though. Was a little odd and didn't seem to me like they "belonged", if that makes any sense. Loved that the majority of seats at this venue were mostly covered/sheltered - I would have miserable standing in the sun all day. One small complaint - there were QR codes for merch taped on the walls and on the backs of some seats, and everytime I tried to take a picture of the stage with my phone, my camera would detect the QR code and automatically take me to the merch link instead of just letting me take a picture. Was REALLY irritated by that! 🤷‍♀️

I wish the venue would move merch away from the entrance and have more non-alcohol drink vendors (or add to those stands) The venue is lovely, the bands were all amazing. Motionless never disappoints. Staff were friendly. They did allow a bleeder to remain in mosh pit, bleeding on everyone. But other than that a great experience.

The fest was an awesome experience! Definitely would want to go again to see the Apocalypse fest next year except the Pavilion sucked. The lines for merch, bathroom, and getting back to my seat made me miss two whole bands! They have many security issues; sets had to be stopped because of fights in the pit, missing people, and intoxicated people. Though the sound quality was sweet even if I had tickets in the back. I saw Motionless in White last year at the Pavilion and that venue had problems then too. I have to thank Live Nation for having sent in extra staff, otherwise the security would have been a lot worst. However, all the bands that I did see where perfect! Motionless in White, Parkway Drive, Knocked Loose, Northlane, Make Them Suffer, and Alpha Wolf were a blast to see. But I'm absolutely livid that I missed all of After the Burial and all but one song of The Amity Affliction because the venue couldn't get their stuff together! However the staff I did interact with (the woman checking seats for the 200s and merch guy on the far right) were great. Ultimately, I felt that the Pavilion was understaffed, distracted, and overwhelmed with an event they've had months to get down. I'm very regretful that I missed two bands I really wanted to see because of the venue's problems. I doubt I'll go to the Pavilion again unless I see reviews stating that they've figured their security and organization out. I don't blame the band hosting this event at all. Motionless in White was just as beautiful live the second time seeing them! I loved how interactive all of the bands were with the fans.

Motionless always puts on an amazing show! It was awesome to be a part of another important moment in this band's career. I have been a fan since the beginning of their career and they have grown so much as artists. If you ever get the chance to see them live don't hesitate!

I was glad to finally see 3 bands who I have yet to see: Ministry, Alice Copper and Rob Zombie! I have certainly loved Monistry for a very long time, since cassette tape time (I’m 45) and similar with Rob Zombie. All performances were great! The showmanship of Alice Cooper and Rob Zombie was stellar. Rob certainly stole the show: huge screens great themes which graphics met the song themes and great energy. Alice as always with snake and attire - well thought out performance and style. Great set and set design. Ministry is very niche, certainly creative and Al Jorgensen - nothing compares…musicianship and deliverance was nothing less than superb; the set for ministry could have been better but 🤷🏼‍♂️ well worth it and ✅ for bucket list items. They were amazing as always they never disapoint. They played with so much energy that kept the crowd going wild. I loved the pyro-tecs and backround sreen they used. I can't wait to see them again in Rochester NY in November for the third leg of the tour to see what they have in store.

The concert was amazing the venue was nice . We had great seats definitely would travel to scranton for a cocert at this venue again. The only thing that would have made it better was at the end of the night if they had a better plan for emplyees to direct traffic leaving the venue . It was very unorganized , I saw several cars almost hit each other trying to get out of parking lot.

It was an unforgettable experience to meet my favorite bands since 2010 and to see them in person singing their songs... what a thrill to see them... the show was amazing, each band did their own and I was fascinated... thank you all very much for this experience that I did not I'm going to forget... see you at the next show on Nov 17 in Lowell MA🖤🖤🖤🖤🤟🤟🤟

September 9th was an unforgettable day at the concert in Scraton PA... singing old and new songs from Motionless in white... it was also an amazing experience, I was in the PIT in front of the stage you can see it up close, so much emotion to see you... thank you very much for being and you are the #1 you are the best... much success. We had the best time of our lives!!! The venue was nice although two negative things I would say would be the parking there was hardly anyone directing traffic after the concert and it was a mess getting out, my other negative thing would be the merchandise area I feel like they should’ve had different lines for the bands merchandise and another area set up for merchandise because the line was ridiculous when you got to the front it was a mod of people! So that could’ve been organized better but other than those two things we will definitely come back for another concert!!!!

WOW! INK was amazing from start to finish! Sounded fantastic, show, back drops and all of the theatrics was on point! They didn’t take a lot of time in between songs to change. They keep it moving non-stop. First time seeing this band and it WON’T be the last. So glad we’d made the 2 hour drive to see them!

Every band at this show was just amazing! I’m so glad we made the 2 hour trip to see them. It was the first time seeing them and won’t be the last, so much energy, great with the crowd and sounded fantastic! You don’t want to kiss this tour!

WOW… there are really no words to say how awesome this show was… BVB we’re on point. INK slayed and MIW brought down the house. What a monumental night to be a part of. To be a part of MIW’s homecoming at a venue they always dreamed of headlining added another level to the night. I saw Trinity of Terror I in Philly which was also awesome but this was a whole new level.

It was amazing, although for BVB it felt a bit boring. I had paid a seat but ended up being at the pit and super close at that. Hopefully it doesn't happen again, I didn’t really mind, I mean I was closer to the guys. Overall I loved it, can't wait for part 3.

I paid more money for good seats and i would not do it any other way. Also Premier parking is a must as we were out of the parking lot in less than 10 minutes. Dierks is my favorite artist on the radio as well as in concert. The show is so fun and we danced all night. Every song is a sing along and my favorite part is the personal touches he includes in the show. Seeing images of his family reminds us he is just a genuine guy loving life. I will go see him every chance I get.

OMG I seen these ladies back in May in reading pa they rocked but I know I had to see them on the big stage and WOW!!!! THEY BLEW THE ROOF OFF THE PLACE!!They are the real deal now!!! There alot better then the pretty reckless without a doubt! LOVE THESE LADIES KEEP ROCKING🤘

Eaisly one of the best line up and shows I've been to. The crowd was great the bands sounded awesome I got to see Anthrax for a 3rd time and Slayer for a 2nd time I also got to meet Slayer ! Gary and Tom are awesome guys ! The show was great don't give up yet Slayer i think you guys can do a couple more great albums. F*@KING SLAYER 🤘🏻🤬🤘🏻
