Minus the long line for the venue, show was fantastic. Missed the first two bands unfortunately…guess I’ll have to pay extra next time for vip/early entry.
Music was great. The venue needs a better way to have people enter. The line to get in was a mile long in 20 degree weather.
The line outside was long and cold. The line wrapped around the block, had only two doors of entry, so it moved slow. It was 20 degrees outside, with no heat sources. Could not feel my limbs by the time we got in, entry rules were not clear and consistently had to run to and from the car (parked two blocks away) for whatever reason, no bags, no bottles, needed coat ect. The concert itself was awesome, the venue didnt do a good job caring for its patrons.
Amazing amazing a. May. Zinnnggg. This is my third time seeing them in concert and I again am blown away. I am absolutely in love with this band.
Absolutely amazing, miw is my favorite and most listened to band. This was only my second concert (im 20) first gig was knocked loose and that was amazing but Miw was an experience, everything from stage presence, theatrics and chris’s absolute holy voice it was crazy to say that they sound the same on album and in person. It was absolutely brilliant and euphoric so glad I finally got to see them
I’m gonna start with the venue. The venue was pretty but they can’t coordinate a line, if you want to go here at any point in winter make sure you bundle up enough to wait in like outside for at least 45 mins. Once you get around the building and can finally see the doors you’ll get separated into one line of men and one like of women, you have no choice. I went with my boyfriend so being separated in a place I didn’t know was NOT acceptable. After the hell of getting through separate lines and reuniting, the venue was awesome. I love the way it was set up. You can catch a good view of the stage from the merch line. Loved that the food drinks & merch were all in the same room as the stage. As for the bands in this lineup, AWESOME. They have me close to speechless at this point. I went to trinity of terror 2 as well and they impressed me even further. It was super cool to see the little by little improvements at trinity of terror 3 as opposed to 2. Lots of love for the whole lineup, but no one puts on a show like INK. It’s the kind of show when you get that feeling that you need to record it and go home and watch it over & over again rather than scream and mosh and have no videos of it. You know every lyric but you can’t justify singing over recording. Truly an experience in its own.
Amazing show! Motionless in White, Atreyu & Ice Nine Kills killed it and were fucking amazing! Black Veil Brides Feed either was too high or the instruments speakers were too high because we couldn’t hear what Andy was even singing which was disappointing.. but Andy is a stand up dude that I have huge respect for due to loving him on Paradise City/American Satan.. and he jumped into the rochester crowd to help people who were down in the pit and security didn’t do shit to help which is messed up but the show over all was amazing!!!!
The band hit the stage an hour & a half after the doors open in a venue that shook with their sound. Being an old military armory, the inside was stark and loud. Echos were abundant and the addition of sound deadening of some sort would greatly help this venue. Other than the echoing, the Main St Armory was large, open and had a large bar to serve the crowd. There was 3-4 rows seating in the horseshoe shaped balcony and standing room only downstairs.
Hatebreed was awesome. Venue? Less than awesome, particularly once the show, and even Hatebreed’s set had to be cut short. Even before then, only 2 bars with REALLY long lines, ran out of JD after Hatebreed’s abbreviated set, and no food even though on the website it said that food would be available at every show. It would be hard to go back there in the future.
It is hard to rate a show that did not fully happen. Hatebreed was very good. Energy was intense. Then, the stage "broke".
Due to a safety issue, their set was shortened. No other bands played. Refund is expected per gentleman who made the announcement on stage.
How do you rate something that did not get to be completed?
How do you take emotions out of the rating system and make it a low score because your disappointed you missed the remaining bands?
It would have been nice if the gentleman who made the announcement would have let everyone know the reason why it was cancelled.
I would go and see any of the bands again. This does not change my opinion.
Thank you.
Five stars all go to 🌙 🦷. Great band that keeps getting better and will play circles around the other bands on the bill. Incredibly tight group that knocked me in the chin with their power packed 6 song set.
Dance Gavin Dance was able to put on amazing show even after the untimely passing of Tim Feerick, their long time bassist. Absolutely phenomenal show!
Loved every second of it. From beginning to end, I had zero issues with anything. I hope Beartooth returns to Rochester at some point again.
Top to bottom, all artists freaking crushed it! Light the Torch, ABR, and KSE, just wow. I can’t believe I got to see all three of them together and in Rochester of all places. It was cool to see Howard perform a few songs with KSE. Go see any of these artists, you won’t be disappointed.
The Dropkick Murphy’s lived up to their reputation of being absolutely phenomenal live! They made sure that both the bands opening for them, Bombspop and The Rumjacks felt comfortable and all their merchandise is made in the USA and Union Made. They also sell merchandise for their charity fund the Claudaugh fund.
And I had a fantastic time meeting chase and Noah concert this day and I will never never forget it at all and this was the best day of my left meeting these 2 wonderful guys
Drake was great! The sound at the Armory is terrible. I wish I could say I’d go back there but it makes everything sound like they are in a tin can. We can do better in Rochester!

Couldn’t have asked for a better setlist from this Styx lineup. Tommy Shaw and JY’s voices are in superb shape and Gowan really finds his own place covering Dennis DeYoung’s songs and has an awesome opportunity to shine when they play songs from The Mission. The showmanship and the way that the members play off the crowd shows that Styx’s 40+ years of existence has really made them a class act.
Fantastic band. I wish that high valley would have had a longer set. I love them just as much and felt like only a few songs wasn't enough.
