Best gig of the year. Briliiant interaction with the crowd. Sincere & warm. They make everyone feel a part of the whole thing. Diana appears to have settled in well now. She looked a little apologetic on the last tour - as though she was uncomfortable in the shoes she was filling. NOW, she looks a genuine part & her rendition of older Charlotte songs is perfect. Ronald & Ludo’s connection with fans is second to none.
The set choice was just superb. Timing of new with old very thoughtful. Loved it. Support act Damian Wilson was good too. A contrast but a pure gent. He actually came outside before the gig & spoke to everyone in the queue, in the rain! It was great when he joined Delain for the encore. Andy M
Absolutely unreal, couldn't of asked for a better show, the supports were amazing, sound quality was perfect, my only dilemma was I couldn't stay in the mosh pit for longer. The whole atmosphere for the entire night was breathtaking, will definitely be catching them on their next tour in the UK 🤟
What a fantastic event at an historic venue. Frog Leap Studios gig was fun, interactive and entertaining. All of the band are fantastic musicians and certainly play the songs so well. There was an assortment of genres of music that they draw inspiration from, but in Leo fashion all songs are played with a metal audience in mind. Couldn't have asked for a better night out, and look forward to when they play London again ❤️
Awesome energy and personality from both the support (Drinking Boys and Girls Choir) and Otoboke beaver. Fast and powerful rhythms wrapped around technical musicianship and fun attitude. Great engagement with the audience.
Venue: Great space. Security a little slow to get organised at the entrance - if you're early prepared to get moved. During the gig security was excellent at allowing the crowd to express itself while managing crowd surfing and rehydration.
Tom and his band were, as expected, amazing. Adls well as his solo mayerial, there were plenty of RATM instrumentals and mashes, with a bit of Audioslave and a guest by Måneskin guitarist Thomas Raggi... 🎸
Preceded by, new to us, ALT BLK ERA. OMG, the energy. Choice openers, and I'm sure, soon to be, headliners.
I was truly fabulous. It was the first time that wed seen him perform. We got there early because my partner has a chronic back problem and we needed to find her a seat in the first floor balcony, we enjoyed it so much that ive just booked tickets flights taxis and hotels to enable us to fly out from London to Cork and there by 60 mile taxi ride to Bantry in West Cork specifically to watch him perform at the Maritime Hotel on the 12th of April which is directly opposite where my mother was born and brought up n Bantry a century ago. I just had to do it. The emotions got the better of me. Terry Barry
Absolutely amazing show. From the moment I walked through the doors the atmosphere was perfect. The support acts were gems. Røry was beyond anything I have ever seen before. She was engaging, energetic, emotional, appreciative and just all round amazing live. Her voice is the same live as recorded if not better. 10/10 will definitely be back to see her again
Second time seeing them and it was just perfect. Even though they are missing one of the singers, due to health issues, the show was impeccable. 🤘 And compared to the first time, October 2022, the sound was really clean and I could actually hear the lyrics. I hope they have their headline tour, at some point. 🤘🖤
Loveless is a relative new band with a very catch pop punk music genre. Very Active on social media and with lyrics very relatable and beautiful voice from Julian.
Fantastic performance with a whole set of songs that are well known and crowd reacted well singing along.
Crowd were polite and there were no crowd surfing or mosh pits.
The venue is of a good size with different rooms and bars and a balcony. Private smoking area inside. There was also merch. Comfortable to be without being pushed over.
Great show from TOAD. A good mix in the set list from the old and new.
First time at this venue, we planted our selves behind the sound deck and it was a reasonable view, good sound too. Also really close to the tube station and the Hub.
Due to train delays we missed the whole set from Amongst Liars, this was also the reason we stood where we did, as the venue was already quite full.
The crystal clear voice amidst the rock instruments was the key highlight. It sounded better; hearing it live compared to listening to it on Spotify. The music was decently loud and I could feel it throbbing my chest which was really awesome but I feel the music could have been louder. Also I know the tickets were not very expensive but I wish there were some special effects like smoke and fire. Overall, it was a blast for what it costed!
Awesome show from an artist with genuine charm. A couple a holes in the crowd making things difficult and a couple times where there always singing and strumming when the artist didn’t appear to be singing or strumming which was a little jarring. An awesome experience nonetheless
Gaz Coombes has clearly tapped in to his source of creativity and it just keeps on giving. His talent and ear for producing quality tunes, is unrivalled by his peers. There is a clear personal evolution in his music today that is both soulful and deeply meaningful on so many levels, and marks a clear difference from the days of Supergrass.
Both Gaz and his band of talented musicians including backing vocals are at the top of their game, delivering tight sets, rehearsed to near perfection. Rapturous standing ovation to Gaz and the band!
Gary and the band gave a great performance and sounded amazing. 10/10 in that respect. Venue was absolutely packed and seemed to be oversold, so was hard to get a view at the back if not tall. The sound at the venue was excellent though 👌
Incredible, an absolute experience
First time seeing them live.
The all round atmosphere was amazing, this was the most packed I have ever seen the ballroom and it was buzzing with a completely different vibe, a real electric joy.
The powerful performance alone was enough to transcend the venue, which was an upgraded one at that, filling the streets of Camden with a perfect blend of the intensity of metal, the pied piper lure of folk sound bolstered by the selection of traditional instruments and the irresistible feel-good-serotonin-boost Bollywood style synchronicity.
I remember seeing the quote once that this band is “Metal with Masala”
However Garam you usually flavour your metal plate get yourself a nine inch naan and tuck in coz this ain’t no beige buffet, and I promise, as soon as those flavours hit your taste buds you won’t be able to stop the movement flowing throughout your body.
This was not simply a gig, even a show, as first mentioned, to see Bloodywood live is an Experience.
A Bloodywood brilliant experience
Was really looking forward to it but it was postponed apparently. Unfortunate as Cruel Santino is an amazing artist. However I would like to enquire how I can submit for a refund as the show didn't happen.
thank you,
best wishes to the artist and I hope things get sorted out.
I was unable to attend to the show and I wanted to offer the opportunity to someone else to discover one on the greatest band that I know. But due to the lack on reaction from TICKETMASTER (I contacted them1 week before the show to transfert the tickets "property", but nothing has beendone snd on topof that,
as of today I still haven’tgo the tickets! ), so, none went there !
THANK YOU TICKETMASTER AND SHAME ON YOU !
Come back and play again.. It was a great night. Hugh was brilliant as well.. who doesn’t love a sing-a-long. You said yourselves we were a great crowd.. and we really were. Everyone was out for a great time and we certainly had it.
Ah, didn't know you could rate separately. Already said in the ABR section, but flawless show! Lots of energy and a great set, managed to get close to the front so got a great view of all the members who played perfectly. Hopefully they'll be back soon.
Great! Erra played a nice mix. Hoped for White Noise but Drift, Ghost of Nothing, Breach and many more did the trick. Got a video of "Marianas Trench", one or two notes off during the solo but it's a tough song and really clarifies how well they played the rest of the album. They also added vocals for "Meridian" which was quite cool.
