Colter Wall was amazing and the venue was very nice too!
Let’s try the golden 1 arena next time👏👏👏🙌🙌
Great music... lots of smelly dirty hippies with hairy arm pits and legs. I was unaware personal hygiene was frowned upon at a billy strings concert lol. Also billy went psychedelic for 20 30 minutes at a time, multiple times. In my opinion there is a fine line between music and noise, he walked that line for sure.
All in all we loved the performance they are great musicians and very talented. But with all the noise it was hard to tell the songs apart.
Would definitely see him again.
The band was fine. Though the sound system they used was only mediocre at best, with a lot of high-end breakup. The first hour was good, with Susan’s voice purring snd then soaring over the loud band. Her occasional numbers playing lead guitar were a welcome change from Derek’s sound identical leads in every song. He’s technically gifted but is in need of some imagination and new sounds going forward. Simply put, he’s boring.
Speaking of which, the band played an interminable stretched-out version of “Pasaquan” which, believe it or not, included a drum solo rendered triply bad by there being three drummers. Drum solos were passe by 1971 due to, well, them not being actual music.
We felt like the show was alright. Not as good as the last time we saw them. Seems like there is a lot of Derek on slide and not enough focus on Susan. They don't need a slide solo in almost every song. We'll think pretty hard about going next time.
As far as the venue, more refreshment areas. Lines were long. More merchandise areas. Lines were too damn long. And what a surprise when my wife was not allowed to bring in her purse. It would have been good to know that upfront.
Phenomenal concert, incredible musicianship. An absolute must see! See the entire show, all 3 bands tremendous. Best show I've seen in a long time
Tedeschi Trucks band was outstanding and beyond my expectations. My partner and I would have preferred just the opening ban and Tedeschi Trucks and leave out Los Lobos. They are sounding really tired and not the caliber that should open for TT Band. The acoustics at Memorial Auditorium aren't very good at all.
Bill was hilarious, as expected. Hated the phone vault thing. Not because of not being able to use it but because it took so long to get checked in and out. Other than that, venue was great!
Beautiful performances 🥺💞
It was wonderful!! 1000000% would recommend going to one of his concerts
The band was amazing as expected. The Fix theater was very beautiful but the sound in the mid balcony definitely left something to be desired. Susan's voice cut through pretty well but couldn't make out any other voices, even in their solos. Definitely won't do same/similar seats at this theater again in hopes that it was just a fluke.
Great show as usual. However, lots of rude concert goers. Talking and people holding their cell phones above their heads, as if we paid $100 to see that. Some People just seem to have no sense common courtesy or good manners. Seeing it more and more these days. Time we get schooled in concert etiquette.
