The venue was great and the show was just as amazing as I thought it would be. Hate there was a hard show stop by 9:00pm.
Hayes Carll and the Heathens were amazing!! Except that they only played for 40 minutes, and then we had to suffer thru the OCMS in order to try and get our money’s worth … it didn’t happen 😖. While OCMS were very talented, it was more like a stage show with an obnoxious front man, instead of a concert! They cared more about the show than the music! … not happy
This is such a great place to see a concert and Blue October killed it last night!!!! Love see them live!
AMAZEBALLS!!!!
Keller and The Hillbenders brought their Grateful Dead inspired Bluegrass Bad Assnes to the Greenfield Lake Amphitheater and left the crowd with nothing left to do but SMILE SMILE SMILE 😊
It's definitely worth seeing Michael Franti in concert! It was so enjoyable that I rarely saw anyone sit during the concert!
Incredible. Best concert in a long while! 2 hours of their best songs and the openers the record company and starcrawler were just as good!!
Super Fantastic!! My absolute favorite band. You can't find a greater bunch of guys!! Unfortunately, Live Nation has taken over the venue.
I attended both nights and had a fantastic time! I'd never seen any of the bands before and was thoroughly pleased with the overall performance of everyone I saw!
I had just started listening to Big Something a few months ago, mostly on nugs.net, and found them to truly live up to my expectations AND MORE
I'm a BIG live music fan, have seen quite a few shows this year, and this double night event was the icing on my concert cake!!
I walked away with a set list AND a drumstick!!
Lespecial was a second sweet surprise 😀 I totally unfamiliar with them and BLOWN AWAY by the skills of their drummer Rory!!!
The whole event surpassed my expectations!!
Thanks for the BIG SOMETHING! It was filled with many LESPECIAL moments 😉
Since the Friday show was partially rained-out BS did the right thing by letting the opener perform on Saturday night instead. Kudos to the band for doing that! Unfortunately, the venue has a "hard stop" policy with fines associated for going past 10PM on a Saturday. This meant less Big Something and more opener as compared to a typical show. The songs were performed with the same verve that has popularized them across the nation, and was heavily "Halloween" themed, with song selections of the haunting variety; The Flood, Saturday Night Zombies, Julia Brown, and a cover of the Cranberries "Zombie" with the lead singer from The Loud Music Co. providing the vocals, and she did a respectable job with it. "Pinky's Ride" made an uncharacteristic mid set appearance, and was personally the highlight of the show. A few of the newer tunes thrown in and they were done on time after a little more than 90 minutes of playing. If you haven't seen Big Something, check them out! They never disappoint and they are really nice guys to boot!
Greenfield is a sweet venue - small enough to retain a sense of intimacy and big enough to draw great acts like Local Natives. The band played a terrific, high energy set which displayed each member’s talents and the cohesiveness and musicianship which makes them so much fun to experience. Would love to see them again at Greenfield during a cooler month…
the show was amazing!! I went not really knowing what to expect but I was blown away. I swear Adam (the guitarist) through me his pick but I bounced out of my hand and over the rail and the girl in front of me got a security person to get it for her :( aside from that it was one of the best shows I’ve seen yet! Even if you haven’t or don’t really listen to the struts I recommend going with your concert buddy :)
My first goose gathering was at the dragonfly distillery in Chucktown,SC. I went because I had to try them out. First song I ever experienced was Moby and I was totally down to get down. The show felt like one long tempo and I was waiting for a bomb to drop and get some heat, but never happened. Didn’t give up on them, everyone deserves a second chance, I just wasn’t going to pay and be in the passenger seat. Then came ill’town at Greenfield Lake Amp, I had a ride and ticket waiting for me. It was probably one of the hottest days, little ones doing the best possible with mom and dad trying not to melt. I made it through the entire show and I don’t think I complained once about how hot it was because I got goosed, right on the left cheek. I’m definitely whatever they call the goose people. Mad respect to these boys and I can’t wait to see them again and again:)
Energetic, positive and life-affirming music at a great venue. A great mix of familiar Marley songs with some good new material.
Good show but ended super early. Over an hour earlier than most other shows at the venue. I don’t think anyone was expecting that.
Best show I've seen of them I love them with a passion and they have kept my childhood going, Rock on🤘🤘
Lukas and POTR bring it every time! I loved every minute of the concert! I NEVER want their concerts to end!
Third time seeing the band and they never disappoint! Drayton Farley was a wonderful opening act, but the venue really didn't have the volume up enough to hear most of the lyrics 😣
First time seeing The Record Company and they were awesome! Tons of energy and they jammed! Great crowd and amazing venue! Hard them on radio the first time on West coast saw them live for the first time on East coast! We are from Memphis!
Phenomenal! I always love seeing bands at GLA because it’s such a beautiful and intimate outdoor venue. The Struts have to be one of my all time favorite live shows! They put the fun back in rock and roll. I danced the whole time. PLEASE come back to Wilmington!
Amazing! I’ve been wanting to see these guys for a while and it was definitely worth it. One of, if not the best performance I’ve ever seen.
