This concert was incredible! All 3 bands were great and sounded awesome! I saw Creed years ago at least 1/2 dozen times and I think they sound even better now!
Creed was awesome! The show was great and Oak Mountain Amphitheater is one of the best places I've been to see a show! The staff is friendly and helpful.
However, I purchased diamond tickets through VIP Nation for a meet and greet, sound check party VIP package with merch. I drove from Florida to Alabama, over 200 miles to attend this once in a lifetime (for me) event.
We arrived at the park late due to circumstances beyond my control. An accident happened and we missed the M&G party and couldn't get our merch.
I contacted VIP Nation and they were unwilling to help me. I paid over $2,000 for 2 VIP packages and only got to see 1 show! I will never buy anything through them again!
Third Eye Blind always puts on a great show and I can’t recommend going to see them enough. The wife and I had an amazing time!
We drove from out-of-state for this show and we met the band. Did not disappoint. Though not the headliner, best show of the night! Adam brought it!
It was exceptional! The band was tight & Hozier’s voice & rapport with the crowd exceeded expectations…well worth the drive from Pensacola, FL…thoroughly enjoyed every minute!!
Amazing amazing show and the venue security was so nice and informative by far the best show/venue so far! Having seats makes queueing a problem of the past and you can be barricade without a crowd crush!
The greatest concert I’ve ever been to, and I have been to a lot. The rain made it even more awesome. I know my dad was there in spirit, it started pouring rain as soon as Brantley Gilbert started singing helluva an amen. And after the delay chad and the guys rocked the house out. I will not not miss them when and if they ever come back through BIRMINGHAM ALABAMAAAAAA. I swear chad yelled that a dozen times. Said it just sounded good to yell.
Very Impressed with his band, both instruments and vocals. Great musical experience. Could have done without all the profanity the artists used when talking to the crowd and each other, but that was the only disappointment. Oh and of course could have done without all the rainstorm lol!
Nickelback and Brantley Gilbert were 5 stars. Especially BG, it came a monsoon towards the end of his set (opener) he stayed on stage for four more songs to keep the crowd's spirits up. Great Acts. The venue was a 1 star at best. Beautiful venue that is horribly ran. Will not be returning to Oak Mountain Amphitheatre, spend your money where they put the customer and experience first.
This show was an emotional rollercoaster ride. First MotherNature was letting her presence known with a few hours of a thunderstorm delay. Then when FooFighters hit the stage it was the such amazing energy. The
venue was so intimate we know the band heard and felt our love for them. I can’t wait for their next show!🤘
What an awesome freaking show! I’m 50 years young and had an absolute blast at this concert. Godsmack put on one hell of a show! My fav is the drum battle between Sully and Shannon. These guys rocked! I would go see them again tomorrow!
I enjoyed both Jeff Beck and ZZ top. The production sounded great. How ever your $5 water and $13 beer is a rip off. The concert was fine.
Great show. 3 acts. Each one built on the next. Wish they would have allowed Jamey Johnson to sing one of his originals like “In Color”.
Nice venue, sounded great. Live video on the big screen was woeful....poorly lit subjects, delayed pans (why focus on a disinterested drummer then pan to the lead musician just as he's finishing his solo riff!?). Would have been great to see the guitarists/keyboardist/sax player in clear detail on the big screen during their epic turns at lead!. Band was almost robotic in their performance - end of a long tour I guess. Glad I saw them live, but it's a one-time affair for me.
The Doobie Brothers harmony is still FANTASTIC! They played nonstop and gave it their all. It brought back wonderful memories of 33 years ago when my husband and I saw them here at the Oak Mountain Amphitheater. I was big time pregnant with our first child, a son, who is a drummer like his dad. Wonderful, wonderful show!!!❤
Really good show, particularly Breaking Benjamin. Shout out to the sound guys for breaking Benjamin. Nothing wrong with the sound before their set, but when they came on, you could tell a difference from the first notes they played. The kick drum and bass thumped and everything was crisp and clear. It added so much to the enjoyment level. I don’t know why all concerts can’t sound like this.
All bands were great. Starset was fantastic. Seether was great. Lacy Sturm was awesome. I was a little disappointed that BBen didn’t do Dear Agony with Lacy Sturm. I was looking forward to that more than anything else. I left feeling pretty disappointed because of that, but overall fantastic performance by all.
Really 3.5 stars. It was hit and miss. The songs where great. Their performance was great. But I think with the time restraint they had there asn't as much crowd inaction as previous shows. Maybe having 4 performers is to much. The food and drink prices are ridiculous. Right at 11 bucks for 2 bottles of water. Now as venue probably the most uncomfortable seats and no leg room. Hard for my son who is 6'3 and people behind us wouldn't stand up so left us sitting cause they griped and complained every time stood up. Why go to concerts to just sit and not rock out.
and not rock out. Was in 300 section. Will try
not to sit up there ever again. But BB and
Seether was pretty good.
Eben and Why Don’t We were amazing! I have only one complaint about the show... Taylor Gray. She sang some songs that had very vulgar language in it. It would have been fine if she hadn’t used the words and just stopped singing like Eben did. There were a lot of kids there and I am sure their parents didn’t want them to hear that.
