Absolutely brilliant! Second time seeing Whitechapel & Lorna Shore, and their performances were as great as I had expected! All bands were unbelievable, and I had an amazing time! :)
First trip to Helsinki and the Ice Hall. Easy venue to get to from the city centre and to get in. Drinks and merchandise were easy to get. Food options for the convert was very limited (hot dogs only), while the venue had several other kiosks that were closed (presumably only used for hockey matches). The hall was split into 2 sections at the central sound desk, with security preventing anyone with drinks going further towards the stage, meaning you needed to choose between being closer to the stage or being able to drink something during the convert. We choose to be closer to the stage and was feeling quite dehydrated by the conclusion.
Alter Bridge themselves were very good (first time I have seen them live) and played a setlist that ticked all my boxes. Sevendust were also enjoyable (heard of but never heard before), but we thought Daughtry was a bit generic (fine as a support act).
It was extremely difficult to find details of showtimes, only Fullsteam Agency had the facts on Insta. The tickets should show this info. The concert was bliss! Pendulum are a very professional act, and the set list is full of bangers. The circle pit looked like something in Tuska or other metal festivals. Lovely! 🌹
SOUND WAS 10000/10! Even for Fit for a King!
My first concert in Finland did not dissapoint!
2nd time seeing them🥹💜🖤
If I got the chance I’d do the trip from Sweden all over again🥰
I've seen Opeth live seven times. This was my favorite gig by them ever. Why? Check out the setlist at setlist.com! They played songs they hadn't played in a long, long time, even some old songs they had never played before. Mikael was in a good mood. There was lots of great jokes. He is such a humble and likable guy. That's something you always miss if you don't see them live. If you have a chance to catch them on this tour, do it! The whole band is on fire!
Musically great show by WT! Annisokay has some good songs aswell. Ice hall is s****y place for concert. Bottlenecked everywhere and coat hangers were not close to main entrance. Nokia Arena would've been better...
one of the best things you can experience in life! everyone needs to attend a halsey concert at least once in their lifetime, even if you’re not a fan you’ll still probably appreciate all the hard work she puts into her performances and visuals. as a really big fan, this show made me realize just how much i love her and i felt so many different things at once so strongly, it was truly a unique experience. i loved her and my parents, although not her biggest fans, also really liked the show.
An experience I’ll never forget. Everything was very well organized and the stage lighting was amazing, Halsey seemed like a very genuine person. She was amazingly talented and I would 100% go again <3
