Great concert and sat in the front row with my jazz guitar teacher. He was also mightily impressed. He had not heard of the group until I introduced him to their music.

Epic and awesome. To see all of these musical legends at my favorite venue was the best. All of the musical artists and singers were the best ever. The concert the price and the food and drinks was great. Love Manny the owner and the servers they are the best! Catalina Bar and Grill is my all time favorite entertainment and restaurant venue.

Loved the venue…booths are roomy and old school. We arrived late due to a cancelled flight, so we missed the dinner service, but the drinks were great, especially my Brandy Alexander. Joshua Redman, as usual, and the band were outstanding: amazing musicians, beautiful songs, just exquisite.

David Burnham has a magical voice, and is an incredibly entertaining performer. He’s very gracious at his meet and greets. I so appreciate his amazing talent, and how kind he is to his fans. Looking forward to his upcoming show at the Carpenter Theater in Long Beach!

A joy to be at Catalina to hear the celebratory music of Pete Escovedo and Family! His music definitely touches the heart and soul of all who were there. Thank you!

I have seen the Maestro many, many times over the years, and he has never, ever disappointed. Musicianship & professionalism at its highest level. I can't imagine the marvelously talented young men who made up the other 2/3 of the trio, being in a better developmental environment, or having a better mentor. The concert was predictably well done, and we had another amazing time with one of the best to evah do it!

These guys were incredible! We were seated up close and watching them play was very cool. Each of them is extremely talented! Loved the show and would definitely go see them again!

A major treat to hear/see the talented and personable Emmet Cohen again and the trio he put together was fabulous. Catalina Club was not up to par with late entry and late start time for the program. Fortunately Emmet and group more than made up for it!

I really enjoyed it. I only wished that they had told some more stories of what touring with Madonna was like after performing in so many tours together..

A show with Jane is never to be missed!!! She has a voice unlike anyone I've ever heard before and you'll be treated to so many fun and different styles of jazz and even bossa nova. Wonderful band accompaniment too, and an all around good time!

Nice performance, strong vocals and great band. Some audio issues with the club but generally good. Set list was very eclectic and I would have preferred more standards and some softer pieces. If you like "skat" she's your gall! Club is cozy and no bad seats. Drinks very reasonable but the food is spotty and reminded me of Amtrak. Still a ton of fun. Great bookings and their own parking lot. How can you go wrong?

This was my 3rd time seeing Lizz in Concert (2nd time with just her) and she was JUST radiant. I loved the duo concert experience with her and Kenny Banks, Sr. and their interpretation of wonderful jazz standards as well as her own works. I was speaking with a gentleman after the concert who was seated next to me and he basically summed up the concert like this..."The future of music/jazz is in good hands. Artist like Ella Fitzgerald would be delighted with artists like Lizz Wright". I concur. Lizz is very personable, funny, expressive with her vocal range and style, and just down to mother earth. Kenny Banks, Sr. is just fabulous and a MASTER of the keys, particularly the Hammond Organ.

Excellent performance and staff service. Some guests were not respectful of the performance however and speaking quite loudly. If possible it would be great to mention that this is indeed a show and not background music for dinner.

Live music featuring Victor Wooten, Steven Bailey, and Derico Watson. Bringing joy and magic to all in attendance . Simply amazing! What better way to spend a Friday evening in Hollywood? None! Thank you gentlemen!

Judith was on FIRE for this show! So delightful to see her dad and mom as part of the band. Our entire family loved it. To Judith: You give us black/yellow girls some bonified street cred. You keep on keepin' on.

Show was amazing!! Dad, drummer, background vocalist were all on point. But MOM!! MOM (OKASA) KILLED IT! She seriously needs to go solo or produce an album, she was fascinating and amazing to watch and listen to. Judith. No words.

This show is worth 10x the ticket cost! The band is awesome, pure FUNK. Judith is gifted like her mentor Prince, her peers H.E.R., Doja Cat, and musician Teena Marie as she plays many instruments. The band’s vocalists are a “Thang” all their own! It’s like her girlfriend’s co-signing every lyric she belts out like a wild woman! Her Momma, is straight off off George Clinton’s Mothership (it’s her real Momma and that Funkster on Bass is the String puller!). Oh, the Funky Drumma too!🤘🏾🤘🏾🤘🏾🤘🏾🤘🏾🤘🏾. When u add dinner and drinks, the price comes out about right. The best show I have seen since Lenny Kravitz. Rick Stars are still rockin’ in the free world!🤘🏾🤘🏾🤘🏾🤘🏾🤘🏾🎸🎸🎸🎸🎙🎙🎙🎙

Simon Phillips is amazing from Brian Eno to Protocol lll He’s always been phenomenal Hasn’t lost a step or Beat! Loved it! The venue was great too

Nice atmosphere. Intimate. Nice lighting. Dinner was adequate. She was amazing and entertaining. And extremely in tune with the audience. Love her.
