The show was amazing, definitely!!!
The show was absolutely spectacular and incredible. However, I think the backdrop of the stage could have been better designed to match the high quality of the musicians and the performance.
I love attending shows at the Arsht Center. What a wonderful venue with great sight lines and excellent audio. We have seen The Mavericks in concert a few times prior to this, but felt this program fell short. First, while we appreciated having a warmup act to give everyone extra time to get to the theater, this particular act was not in keeping with the mood usually set by the Mavericks. While the lead singer had a great voice, the music was cranked up way too loud. The sound was deafening and we could understand very little. Because of the pre-show, the actual time the Mavs played was shortened. Their portion of the show was disappointing also. The first half was just flat. They played newer songs and a slow number that just dragged. You could feel the energy drain out of the crowd. We watched some people near us get up and leave! The band finally started cooking in the latter half, playing songs that are their best, and the audience was rocking and dancing to the last 3 or 4 songs. The good part was great but, overall, it was a disappointing evening.
The Mavericks never disappoint. As soon as The Can Can starts you're up out of your seat and dancing. Raul played guitar and his voice is sublime. Eddie on lead Jerry on drums (and ukulele!), Lorenzo on Trumpet, Percy on Concertina, Max on Sax, and Raul's son Tino on drums. New bass player was great.
By the end of the show you're screaming and applauding.
Those boys in the horn section...superb!!
The Mavericks were great as usual, the opening act was loud and terrible. We were in the fourth row and the sound system for the opener and the Mavericks was not good. The vocals were muted and the instruments were over powering. I’ve been that close in other venues seeing the Mavericks and the sound system was wonderful. I’ll still keep going to Mavericks concerts, they are one of the best bands in person I’ve ever seen.
Great show! Great people!! Thank you, Mavis. 💚
Talib killed it! Awesome show
I've seen Uncle AL live several times but thus was one for the books! There were several moments I got chills. He even performed a new song, Father's Love that had everyone in tears. Definitely a magical night!
Awesome concert , great vibes, great guests !
It was a nice experience and a wonderful night, my granddaughter enjoyed it very much. excellent voices and harmony.

Amazing Chucho and Paquito
Excelente el concierto, grandes maestros Chucho y Paquito y los músicos que los acompañaban no se quedan atrás.

Due to a Covid-related health issue, Pink Martini have postponed all tour dates between May 6 and May 13, 2022, including the May 6 performance at the Arsht Center.
The Pink Martini concert has been postponed to Saturday, February 11, 2023.
Ledisi was phenomenal really enjoyed the show and I looked forward to seeing her in the future .stage present and awareness of the audience was great
The Knight Hall is always beautiful and it was even more stunning with Ledisi gracing the stage!! She was funny and thought provoking, nevermind she can straight up SANG! I don't know why it's taken me this long to see Ledisi live but I promise it won't be the last time!
We have been to 6 of Pink Martini’s concerts all over the country. This was not our favorite but the talent they possess and showcase is phenomenal as always!
Great concert! Got hyped and had church! You can see his maturing spiritually over the years as result of pastoring. Just wanted have more songs and another hour!
