About

The Anthem
Located just blocks from the National Mall, The Anthem is I.M.P.’s $60 million music venue on The Wharf, part of Southwest Washington, D.C.’s waterfront. With full arena production and rigging capabilities, internationally touring artists like The Killers, Erykah Badu, Tame Impala, Billie Eilish, Stromae, and Lorde have made The Anthem their stop while on arena tours. Legends like Bob Dylan, Mavis Staples, Willie Nelson, and even Jane Goodall have also graced The Anthem’s stage.
The Anthem has a flexible capacity of anywhere from 2,500 to 6,000 across three floors, with many seated and general admission standing configurations. Balcony boxes are each uniquely angled to face the stage - so fans can connect with their favorite artists without craning their neck - and the first two rows of each box are designated Super Excellent™ Seats, providing a reserved, non-transferable option to those in search of the best seats in the house.
Since The Anthem’s inaugural show with Foo Fighters on October 12, 2017 the venue has hosted more than a thousand events of all shapes and sizes, from weddings to the WWE to an auto show, with more than 800 artists having graced the stage from all genres, including comedy legends like Steve Martin and Martin Short, Jo Koy, Dave Chappelle, Jerry Seinfeld, Aziz Ansari, Ron White, and Andy Samberg’s The Lonely Island.
The Anthem joins I.M.P.’s venue portfolio alongside the world renowned 9:30 Club, Merriweather Post Pavilion, Lincoln Theatre, and The Atlantis, and is the only venue of its size in D.C. specifically built from the ground up for music, filling an important void in D.C.’s music scene.
