As always, great show! Rick and his team always bring their best and tonight was another amazing example! The songs took us through the ages, leaving some to boogie too and others to listen and soak in nostalgia. Gabrielle was OUTSTANDING as a support act- it would have been amazing to have done one song together- maybe another time?
Absolutely incredible show. Never a disappointment seeing these guys. Travelled to London for the weekend last year to see them too and almost a year later saw them again. They put on one hell of a show everytime without fail!
Outstanding performance which was enhanced by The Cherrybombs dancing too. MIW keep getting better and better and I'm looking forward to seeing them again on Saturday in London! I would highly recommend you see MIW live if you love high energy music.
Absolutely amazing gig. Creeper were fantastic as always, but not on stage for long enough. Ice Nine Kills far exceeded my expectations, and in terms of putting on a show, an immersive experience, it was probably one of the best gigs I've ever been to.
Awesome gig as expected by Volbeat! On a few songs there seemed to be the odd cough so not sure if he was suffering from a bit of a cold but he soldiered on for our entertainment. Great hits played and connected with the crowd to make sure we knew he appreciated us and that sure makes all the difference. Added surprise for me…support act Bush singer Gavin Rossdale actually climbed up to my seat in the crowd, stood on the chair next to me, held my hand and danced a little whilst serenading me and the crowd from a very personal level..never gonna forget that, he smelled nice too even though he was sweating cobs!!!
Was kind of cool, definitely puts on a show. I was a bit disappointed no big screens so if you were far away could have been anyone up there. Some songs he seemed to have playing with his voice and then just added his own shout every now and then, which is first time I’ve noticed that at a gig. Still glad I’ve seen.
I come from a family of serious musicians, so I’ve always been first & foremost a fan of Duran Duran’s joyful music and not necessarily a die hard fan of the individuals.
All in all a 5/10 experience for me. 😬
I actually enjoyed their July concert in Essex much better, I found it to be much more JOYFUL & a total party atmosphere with everyone dancing from the very beginning (and I did arrive AFTER Nile Roger’s). The musical mood last night was quite dark; the new added visuals showing all about trapped people, blood, killings, the devil, babies and more blood rituals. I personally am not a fan of Halloween (which it’s on 31/10, not 26/10) and if I was, I would have chosen to travel to Manchester instead of Nottingham, all the way from London. 😬 In my personal view, last night there was no JOY of ‘getting up from your seat & dance care-free’ UNTIL they played The Reflex, towards the end. I kept observing the audience to see if it was just me. Nope, 95% of the arena were sitting down. (I have 3 detailed videos of the whole audience to prove it).
I also felt -as there was no large side screens- there was not much rapport with the audience during most of the concert, until the end when they requested to sing HBday to Simon & they mentioned Nottingham.
The band/ promoters would benefit from investing in having those large screens in arenas, which show the musician’s close ups and expressions, smiles and complicity, which make a big difference when the audience is watching from the distance.
Last night I basically enjoyed the last 20 mins of a 2hr concert. I’ll certainly take those 20 joyful mins as a good memory to have, but I personally won’t be travelling 200miles & investing all that money again to see if I enjoy their live music. I’ll happily keep dancing to the CDs at home, which is great.
Simon’s singing was not as good as in the July concert (he sounded as if he was poorly, if so I sincerely hope he feels better soon).
The show was great, but I wished it could start earlier. The last bus I needed to catch to go home was at 10:50pm and I had no choice but to leave the show at 10:30pm.
Absolutely killed it!! Second time seeing them, first time was as a support act a couple of years ago and this time they were even better. It's clear that they love what they do and cannot emphasize enough just how grateful they are for the fans. They put on amazing show and the crowd interaction is one of the best I've seen. I cannot wait to see them again!
The venue was great, as were the band. Grian was incredible as well as the whole band. I had my ticket as a birthday present and happily would have paid hundreds to go to this event. My only regret is that I wasn’t able to get a standing ticket, as it was absolutely berserk in the standing area. But all in all, it was an amazing night out and an amazing concert. I will be going to the Manchester gig to see Fontaines and also KNEECAP, whom I also love.
Super awesome visuals and show.
I got lucky where my seat had obstructed view so they allowed me to swap to standing, led to perfect view for all the experience.
Really liked their option to buy the recordings from the show / seem very fan focused merch too.
absolutely epic! crowd was hyped during support acts and went wild when enter shikari came on. we arrived early and were just a few feat from the stage but ended up getting pushed to the back and the sound is honestly awful back there. also id recommend earplugs cus my ears were ringing for a week after. the constant moshing left us feeling sick so we had to leave early. all worth it tho to see one of my favorite bands live! satellites sounded just as beautiful from the bathroom!
They certainly know how to put on a show, played loads of old songs so it was perfect for me.
Wasn’t as packed as I’d imagined as I think this was a rearranged date, which worked well for me so no complaints as I got to see them.
Bit annoyed at Jared Leto saying our tickets would work at gigs later in the week which Ticketmaster and venues won’t accept, but hey ho, all good.
they were so good again, i really hope they come back to tour in the uk soon. next time i wish they would play some less knows songs but it is a concert so most of the knows ones will be the ones played. BUT they were so good ptv are my favorite band i hope they come leeds or sheffield or somewhere like that again soon.
Crowd was one of the weakest crowds I’ve ever seen😬you could tell that over half of them were there because of tik tok and half of them were talking over his songs as if they hadn’t paid to be there. Dermot usually has such a powerful voice but he was a bit ill so he didn’t sound as good 😞hope he’s okay now!
I really didn't know what to expect as You Me At Six have such a varied catalogue but they played something for every fan of each era which surprised me. Everyone went wild for Bite My Tongue and danced to Suckerpunch. Shame the crowd in the stands stayed seated for some much of the gig.
Really great show and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Only dropped one star because there were a few songs off the new album they didn't play like Shotgun Blues and Say No More which I was really looking forward to hearing live
Shinedown never disappoint. I feel they would have been a stronger headliner for this show . The interaction with the crowd the vocals . Hard to find a band with this quality . Been a fan since summer 2002 . Still think they are getting stronger. Got such a awesome back catalogue . I was fortunate also to see a show in Florida where they did rarities . Look forward to the new album !!!
Definitely the best night of my life. These guys put on one hell of a show and the cardinal has such an energetic stage presence that's it's hard to not just move along and get involved with the music. My a*s was wobbled and my taint was certainly tickled.
It was amazing, been wanting to see Issues for years and they didn't let me down, i am so happy, they are amazing musicians and Tyler's voice is to die for and the way he works with the crowd is awesome!
