Amazing show, great venue. Wished that Durand Jones had a longer set but for Sturgill/Johnny Blue Skies to play three hard hours was amazing.
Lol oy negative was the frat boy douche bag group that was talking and drunk and being obnoxious but that’s not on anyone other than those drunk idiots.
Cannot wait to see him again in Boston next month!
3rd show I’ve seen this band, and they keep getting more polished. It is an absolute pleasure to see and hear this band fine tune and grow their sound in a world where rock and punk are seldom seen at this level, in this newer generation of musicians. They are climbing a ladder and it’s so exciting to witness it happening.
The brothers and their band were tight!!Sound and venue were top notch. The only negative thing was the conflicting start times that were sent to the ticket holders. Start times for the Marley brothers were ranging from 6;00 pm to 7:30pm. Need to be more accurate especially for those coming from Nassau and Suffolk counties on Long Island, NY
Been wanting to see the killers for probably 15 years. I’ve probably seen 300 shows in my life… This was a top three performance. My goodness this band can put on fantastic show. Not just the music and the sound… But the stage presence and Crowd interaction as well as lighting, pyrotechnics, confetti cannons, etc. Not to sound corny, but it was One of those surreal magical nights. And… To be able to perform like that 20+ years into a career is even all the more impressive.
One of the best live shows I’ve seen in years! The audio balance between instruments and vocals was stellar! What can I say about Brandon Flowers! His amazing vocal range (and no Auto-Tune) gave us goosebumps all night! He sets the standard and The Killers get better each time I see them!
Phenomenal experience of a show. Porter nailed every single song that I was singing & screaming to from segment to segment & the fans were joyous even hearing Hollowheart being debuted here, including me. This is my first concert in over 5 years & this was much well-worth the food, friendship bonding & beautifully-done performing. We 🩷 Porter! :D
Amazing band and very glad yo get to see them.
Forest Hills Stadium has only gotten better
This was the most talkative crowd I’ve ever been around. During cat power a guy with all access pass sat down in front of us and started talking. I thought it might get better as the night went on. But no. A bunch of boojie folks looking for their Gen X merit badge talking up a storm and getting their reels.
Insane.
Hozier was phenomenal!! Seating in Forest Hills is great, the venue is small and intermit. However, take an Uber or the subway bc there is no free parking in the area, the nearest public parking is 10 blocks away
Absolutely fantastic! Crowd was a little dead until they showed up, and the audience went WILD for them throughout their entire set. No song was without cheers. They really knew how to involve the audience. Their entire production was creative, well thought out, and just a head above most performances.
We went back to Forest Hills to see Niles Rogers and Duran Duran. Even though I think this venue could use some changes, I do like the acoustics there. Nile Rogers played a lot of songs he co-wrote or produced with other entertainers. He was a good opening act. Duran Duran was very good; Simon Le Bon still has his voice and he fronted the almost original band with only Andy Taylor not participating on the tour. They put together a great setlist mixing their classic hits while adding some new stuff. At one point, they did get a little political by talking about then dedicating a song to Ukraine which only drew a small applause from the audience. If you enjoy(ed) 80’s pop music, you really should see this show.
Been a fan for a while because of friends in Ireland and it was nice feeling like I was back. Everyone sitting around me never heard of Fontaines DC, but they all enjoyed it as much as I did. Definitely had to bring up the lyrics for “Boy in the Better Land” so the people around me could scream it with me. Please come back to the states!!!!!!!
Hands down. The best concert I’ve ever been to, and I’ve been to quite a few in my lifetime. So much positivity, great vibes, understanding and most of all, love. Will definitely be going to see you again my hubby.
Saw them in Philly with great seats and they blew my head off! The show was perfect and some unexpected things happened to make it memorable. Santa Claus showed up and was invited onstage and then Josh really went out on a limb when he invited the audience to come closer and enjoy the party. I remember thinking that this could go really wrong at any moment but QOTSA, security and the Philly audience pulled it off with style and grace! Just doesn't get any better than that! When I saw them a few days later in Queens I knew what to expect and the seats were away from the action. Still a fantastic concert and the audience had a mosh pit going on like I haven't seen in years! Top class musicians playing top class Rock and Roll! Long live the Queens!
This was hands down the best show I've ever been to. The crowd was great. Sold out home city album release show after so many years and the YYY did not disappoint. Karen O had such fantastic costumes -- Christian Joy really nailed those. They all sounded amazing, and the energy was high. We danced all through the set and had the best time. Came away with Karen's set list, a few new friends, and feeling like it was so over the top incredible that it might have all been a dream.
Watching Karen O, Nick Zinner, and Brian Chase stay in place—as though frozen solid—for five minutes was rock history. Oh they’re truly unparalleled icons and I’ve never been happier to see people preform music I’ve carried in my heart since childhood. I love you all SO MUCH.
Absolutely amazing show!!!! Each band was fantastic and finally getting to see the Yeah Yeah Yeahs live was an absolute dream! I was lucky enough to be right front and center and their chemistry on stage is mind-blowing! Thank you so much for your music and all of the energy you bring to the band!!!!
Great performance by Tom Jones and Van Morrison!!! People around us were totally wasted and talked through much of the show but I learned to tune them out. Perfect evening with two musical legends!!! Van had a great vibe and I was happy that he didn’t play only his most popular and known songs. Loved every song! Great venue too!
I'll go anywhere for some illenium!!! I will say this was my first experience at forest hills and the venue was super cool !! Definitely more mellow and trancy than the last few times at metlife and hijinx ! but honestly it was overall great.
Great show. Loved how they came out further from the main stage so we watched them close up. They hit a lot of favorites up front and really put on a great performance with lots of crowd interaction. The lighting and the stage was simple but beautiful.
Caamp put on a good performance to open and came back on stage with the Lumineers to perform a Tom Petty cover.
Weather was perfect for an outdoor concert.
Bon Iver’s music sounds as good if not better than on the studio tracks. The venue is to-die-for - beautiful weather, excellent views from everywhere in the stadium, and top notch sound. The crowd could have been more enthusiastic and Justin could have done more to create a dialogue with the audience. Otherwise, amazing!
