One the best concerts I have gone to in over four decades of concert attendance. I have seen dozens of ‘80s bands in concert in the last four years and these guys are just phenomenal. It was hit after hit after hit. The two “new” songs they played on what was rejected as their would be first album are superb. Can’t wait to buy it! If I had know the show was going to be this good I would have gone to all three Texas dates. (I only do that for the Cure.)
Freaking awesome show. I saw him in last Fall at Cheap Steaks and it was a transformative experience. A small show, but he owned the stage and crowd. Saw him on the Noah Finnce tour at Tulips and even better but as an opener obviously had a shorter set. His full sets are what you really want! Saw him at Panther Island as part of the SoWhat! tour. First time I have seen him on a huge stage and he killed. Then last night at the Toyota Pavilion was amazing. He's grown so much and absolutely owns the full size stage. He opened, so short set, but he blew the roof off the place and gained more new fans.
Keep going Ev's you are going to rule the world, and keep X going for the TX2munity!
I don’t know I’m full deaf I can’t hear his voice and I have not go his concert cuz I rather interpreter there sing sign language so I believe God u got good souls in the world I saw your posts Facebook God bless you and he is with you in the world I’m happy for u big smile I’m rest my back hurts geez be safe have fun “my grandpa never died “ big smile hugs
Being a fan since the foiled album and finally getting to see these guys live was worth it fellow fans singing along watching the crowd and Justin's personality vibe and energy and depth of expression in lyrics and vocal prowess for an alt rocker was amazing so glad I finally made a Blue October show. The openers were great as well Royal Otis,Local band The Unlikely Candidates and lovely the band.
I loved that it started on time. The line up was great. Alex Isley was AWESOME! I was introduced to Gallant and Maxwell was great.
My only issue was that too much time in between acts. There were a lot of complaints about what was going on. Why is it taking so long.? A DJ or MC would’ve been a great addition. I attend a lot of concerts and with a DJ to keep the crowd engaged takes your mind off of how much time has passed between artists.
I could tell right away that Brad Arnold was fighting a cold or something because his voice lacked his characteristic depth. Later he said he had a sinus infection. He didn't postpone the show, however. So you could say he didn't back down and he didn't duck and run! Great show and fantastic music, always true to the original recordings. Wish I could see them on the upcoming Florida cruise where they open for Creed's first reunion in ten years.
The show was incredible the venue itself has a good seat from the pit to section 300 to the lawn. The security was also very mindful of the people who had been waiting in line since really early in the day and made sure to keep them in the from, there merch stand outside and a bigger one inside. the servers inside were really nice as well.
Took my 13 year old for a girls night out. She had been wanting to see Ghost for the last 2 years, so I promised her months ago that we would be there last night, because all that matters to me is that my kids are happy. Despite me not really knowing anything about this band, I knew 3 songs on the set list and that's only because of her. But last night was for her! When we got there, I was completely shocked, the costumes, the fan base. It was probably the coolest thing I have ever seen before actually seeing the show! But then they came on, and I can honestly say out of the 45 or 50 bands I have seen live. Ghost Rivals with the top of them for sure. It was an amazing experience, and I am so glad to have gotten to share it with my babygirl! Ghost earned a new fan last night! Definitely will be taking her again!
I’m sure the show would’ve been the best time of our lives, but sadly we left before the concert even started. My 7 year old son was not used to the weather due to us being from west Texas. We tried to stick it out and he didn’t want to go, he cried to stay, but we had to for his own safety. Hopefully next time we can plan it out better, he loves Yelawolf so much, as do I!
Awesome concert! Walker Hayes played all of his best songs and a couple that aren’t released yet. Loved hearing his testimony, too! Breland opening act was great. I’ve added a bunch of Breland’s songs to my favorite playlist. Great night out! The Pavilion at Toyota Music Center is a great venue if you haven’t been there before. I highly recommend seeing Walker Hayes when he comes to your town.
Nice venue, good sound, clean, friendly staff, safe secure parking close by. Just like everywhere now everything (tickets, food, drinks, merch, parking) all seemed way too expensive, at least some of it is going towards supporting bands I like. Mastodon was fantastic as usual. I’m a guitar guy, but whenever I see Mastodon, I can’t take my eyes off the drummer…just amazing drumming. Gojira has a couple of new fans too. I dragged my wife along with me to the show. She’s more of a 90’s rock girl and not as much into anything on the metal side, but she appreciated the showmanship of Gojira. Neither one of us was familiar with Gojira, but they killed it out there. Great concert.
Fanfriggintastic!!!
My only wish is that they would have been the Headliner instead of the Opening Band.
I've been a fan since 96' and I finally got to meet Justin Furstenfeld!!!
He's so soft spoken and such a gentleman!!
Me and my Best Friend go to their show every year and this year we took my 16yr old daughter and she got to meet Justin also on her 1st concert and he took time to ask her name and told her it was nice to meet her and wished her a great rest of her evening 😆🙃
She walked away wondering if that truly just happened 🤣🤣
Rick Springfield was good as always, and seeing John Waite was a bucket list especially with him playing Baby’s songs, but the surprise of the night was Men at Work. Wow! If you can see them spare no expense. The last time I was so immersed in a perfect set of incredible music it was at Rush. Seriously. Colin Hay is just one of those serious musicians. It showed.
It was fun, it had everything, they engaged the public, there was some acting, giant beach balls, confetti, good dancing and all their great songs. The view from the lawn is nice but we didn't get to play with the giant beach balls or had confetti thrown at us, so you pay less but don't get to enjoy like the people inside the theater.
I LOVE BTR concerts. I've been to 3 of their concerts and they never disappoint. The boys are super interactive with the crowd, very entertaining, and always do a phenomenal job when performing!! The variety of songs from each album and including their new songs really made the experience amazing. Will definitely be back to another BTR concert. The Venue was also great. Shaded and the big fans were a plus.
Taking back Sunday was absolutely amazing! The only bummer of the show was that they opened, they could have definitely been the headliner! This is probably my 20th time seeing them over the last 20 years and they are my favorite band of all time and I love them so much, they got the crowd into it even people who weren’t there to see Taking Back Sunday had a great time!
Excellent, as ever. Coheed and Cambria are celebrating 20 years as a band. It doesn't seem that long. This is my 2nd time to see the band, and the first as a headliner.
They had just released a new album 2 months ago so I was not familiar with those songs. But the crowd knew some new songs and when they sang songs from early in their catalog Claudio smiled ear to ear as the audience sang the songs for him.
Their musicianship was very much front and center. They are, in my opinion, progressive metal, and are excellent instrumentalists and vocalists. The bass player and rythem guitarist's voices weave around Claudio's
and harmonize beautifully. I blame the music industry for them not being bigger. Progressive metal has no platform and little chance for promotion. Kudos to C&C for hanging on all these years and giving us creative lyrics and beautiful music.
It was a great show, support the band and go see them live.
Fourth time seeing BNL. They were entertaining as always but they really need to work on the set list for this tour. They played way too many new songs, and all at once. Only a few were actually worth playing, and they literally lost the audience's attention at one point. We haven't seen you play in 4 years guys. Play what the fans want to hear!
My first ever concert at 25, and I couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful experience. Phoebe was so personal and performed an amazing setlist, including her most recent single “Sidelines” and old favorite “Waiting Room” for the encore. Sloppy Jane as the opener was well-chosen, and made even more special when Phoebe shared a memory with those in attendance from her teenage years with Haley Dahl. She spoke on the current political situation with empathy and care, providing us with options for how to make a difference despite the gravity of the situation. I wouldn’t have changed the experience one bit. In the words of another fan close by in attendance, Phoebe Bridgers is “a fucking legend.”
Just after winning a Grammy, Jazmine gave it her all! She didn’t disappoint!!!
The venue wasn’t the best experience though. Not being allowed to bring in chairs to sit on the lawn but then having security position regular sized chairs directly in front of us was very confusing. Then to have people pay $10 to rent chairs only for everyone to end up standing the whole show is just a very strange concept to me but go off I guess…
