Concert is amazing! We were lucky to be 13 rows from the stage so the view was awesome. I have seen Chris Botti 4 times, but to blend his music with David and Katherine, and all of the amazing artists they had with them, made for one of the best concerts I have ever been to!!!
“Howlin’ to the moonlight on a hot summer night”
I’ve wanted to see the Stray Cats live since I was a kid. Somehow I’ve missed them every time they’ve come anywhere near Cleveland. A couple months ago I saw that they were going to be doing a short summer tour and one of their stops was in Dayton. Thankfully, my wife convinced me to get tickets since I might not have another chance to see them again. I’m so glad she did. The show was a bit on the short side at just under 90 minutes but boy can those three guys play. They sounded just as good tonight as I’d imagined they would over the last 45 years. Definitely one of the most underrated 3-piece bands of all time.
Alice and the band never disappoint! I see them every chance I get. I wasn't as close as I like to be, but still had a good view of the stage, and could see everyone, which was the important thing.
My only complaint is the same as last year: I've waited since 1987 to hear them do the song "Lock Me Up", and they only do the first verse! Still, with a catalog the size of Alice's, there's no way to do everything everyone wants to hear. So that's a small issue.
Melissa was great as usual. The venue was very nice and very well organized. They offered some food items along with adult beverages. There were no long lines for either the refreshments or the restrooms. The only long line was for merchandise and that moved quickly. Getting in and out of the facility was easy.
It was the first time that I had seen her. She was unbelievably good. I love her music. I have all her albums, just Never seen her live. I loved how she engaged the audience, allowed them to pick a song for her to sing. I can tell you I will never miss another opportunity to see her live if she comes close, what a talented artist.❤️❤️
I've been following FireHouse since the beginning, and they always put on a great show. Of course, it was very strange not to see CJ Snare (who passed recently) on vocals, and I'm pretty sure I wasn't the only person who got choked up when they performed "Home is Where the Heart Is", dedicating it to him and playing videos of him. But Nate did a great job; I'm glad he got the gig.
My only complaint is that while I obviously love the old stuff (it's what got me hooked, after all), I'd prefer to hear some newer songs as well. Their last album, PRIME TIME, is their best yet, and I'd love to hear a couple from that. But there's no way to play everyone's favorites.
I'll continue to go see them any chance I get.
The venue was very nice, great seating with good views. Elvis put on a great show.
But the sound was muddy and bottom heavy . Couldn't hear the keyboards at all unless they were the only instrument playing. Everything blended together into a mushy bass-heavy mess.
Don't get me wrong, I love the frozen margaritas and skyline chili dogs. But we came for the music, and it wasn't good.
What a blast! The Rose in Huber Heights is the best venue I've ever been to. I've wanted to see 3DD since the 90s! They did not disappoint. I met some fun fans there. Everyone was so nice! Candlebox also blew me away! Kevin sounds exactly the same as he did back in the 90's! Thanks guys! You made my SUMMER!!
In a word, the show was wonderful! Pete came on the stage, sat down, and played for over 2 hours. My impression was that he and his band were thouroghly enjoying themselfs with all of the smiles and looks at eah other. A nice tough was their homages to diceased musicians and it seemed that Pete holds a special place for George Harrison and David Bowie.
HIs band was excellent...every one of them...with a special call out for the drummer, keyboards, and 2nd guitar. I was very suprised that his voice and playing were just lile 1976 which took me back to a 14 year old boy hearing Frampton Comes Alive on the loud speakers of the local swimming pool club.
Lee Brice was fantastic, he was energetic and full of live. He put on a fantastic show. He was entertaining and definitely you got your money's worth. His two headlines were also awesome and kept the crowd up. the weather was cool and breezy so it was very enjoyable. I love Lee Brice anyways but I was so pumped up after the show I couldn't sleep. If you haven't seen him it is a show you will never forget.
My aunt has loved blue October ever since I can remember it was so fun to go and watch them play they are great I wish they were the main not the opening but it was a awesome
First concert and a great experience I can’t wait to see them again hopefully they come near me soon
All the old favorites! He is 88 you have to hand it to him. His new Four Seasons were amazing and animated. I am fairly certain there were a few songs he lip synced but at 88 I hope so can get out there like that! Brought back lots of memories!

The Boys of Blue NEVER disappoint!!!! The guys were sharp and Justin was on fire!!! 2 shows in 8 days for the wife and I. Red Rocks last week and The Rose last night. Had so much fun we are buying tickets to see them in St. Louis on November 19th. #blueoctoberfamily
Great show! Between the two opening acts and TTB, it was like one continuous show as the bands would all play with each other. This was my third time seeing TTB, and this show was the best! Los Lobos was great! Gabe Dixon is a very talented keyboardist. All in all, a night full of great music played by great musicians!
Jackson, the backup singers, and band were all very good. Great to see him again (and more present). One of my favorite singer/songwriters! Nice mix of his material - old and new.
The venue was easy to navigate and very nice. However, the sound system was not good. Couldn't understand lyrics or his speech. We were off to one side, so maybe was part of problem. I really appreciate a covered outdoor venue! Wonderful to experience a live concert again!
Another fantastic show as usual- Collective Soul steals the show EVERY time they play with another artist! In this case they were with Better Than Ezra, who are super good but nobody has charisma, class, talent and energy like Collective Soul!!! Ed Roland dominates the stage with his excitement and you can't help but jump out of your seat with joy every time! Jesse is the BOMB on guitar and I got to meet him after the show. Love them- my favorite band forever and I'm only 22!
Music was great, sound was superb, and the Rose Music Center was fantastic ! The place is so clean, it is so easy to get in and out, the employees were so nice and helpful, and there is not a bad seat in the place ! I will definitely be back!! Thanks Daughtry and The Rose for a great night!
Opening band, The Black Moods, were a whole lot better than I thought they would be. Whitesnake was... well Whitesnake! They were awesome! I didn't give it a solid 5 stars only because Dave, which still looks great, doesn't have quite the range he used to have. I would see them again next time around.
