I've been listening to you guys for a long, long, long time now (For context: I remember the earlyyyyyyy days of "Operation Guillotine" - IYKYK😊). The very first time I was able to see y'all play was back at Warped Tour in June of 2014. Crazy how time flies. Seeing how far y'all have come has been a wonderful journey and I hope things only get bigger and better. The last time I saw y'all live was at this very same venue (The Van Buren) back in September of 2017 and that was great show. Last night's show was the first one I've been to since that very one back in 2017, making things come full circle in the most badass way. AND WHAT A SHOW IT WAS!!!🙌🔥 From beginning to end - Bruses, Pale Waves and PVRIS: You were ALL amazing and have such a warm and welcoming regard for your fans/concert goers. It was really something to be able hear and feel the crowd spellbindingly singing together and vibing with the music as a collective. I've got goosebumps as I'm thinking about it right now and am already looking forward to the next time y'all go on tour!

> Lynn snuck into the Pit and got rowdy - Hell yeah!!! 😈
> Also caught a sighting of Heather out in the crowd during PVRIS's set - Double "Hell yeah"!!!🤟😎
Thank you all for putting on a great show and making Phoenix one of your stops on this tour, despite it being an absolute inferno this time of year. Your Phoenician fans appreciate you and have all the love for y'all! Best of luck with your last couple of stops and stay safe out there! 🙏💪✌️
Chino and Shaun are a great pair and I look forward to seeing and hearing more amazing music from them. The only thing that sucks is EVERYONE is recording full length songs on their phones. I understand taking a few clips to remember the moment, but my line of sight was blocked by a sea of phones (and I'm 6 feet tall) for the entire night. It was also a real bummer to see no one dancing and cheering to music that deserves to be danced to.
It was an amazing show. They don't just "cover" a song. They take you to the era and make you feel the smoothness and the vibes which only Yacht Rock songs can. YRR combines great talent and hard work together to bring you a performance with heart and appreciation for a genre that didn't have a name until they brought it to life years ago in 2007. With the addition of Kourtney and Keisha a few years ago, they've opened up the playlist to let the audience reminisce and show the newbies what Yacht Rock is all about. I've seen other yacht rock bands and I love them all, but no one can showcase Yacht Rock like Yacht Rock Revue. The Van Buren is a wonderful venue and the acoustics in there are very crisp and clean, as i have seen many shows there - shows of various genres. I was fortunate to see them the night before at Humphrey's in San Diego, and they did not lose any of the energy they brought there. I recommend seeing a Yacht Rock show, and then I urge you to "experience" a Yacht Rock Revue concert. I look forward to seeing them open up for Kenny Loggins in October. They usually play solo, but for Kenny Loggins, they jumped at the chance to open for him on his final tour.
Astonishing. I was only the most casual fan with only a passing familiarity, prior to this show. I didn’t realize they were basically nouveau-electro-indie-prog-rock. Fucking incredible show, and the set list of lesser-known songs was refreshing and very much appreciated. Despite literally the worst crowd I’ve possible ever had the displeasure of being a part of (shame, Phoenix, for real. Is everyone just on Xanax, or what?) , it was top 20 shows for me, among hundreds
Bush rocked! It was as if Gavin Rossdale hasn't aged since 16 Stone, still the same energy & showmanship, and of course voice. The big hits mixed with a few new songs really set the crowd on fire. Gavin hopped off the stage and circled the crowd from one end to the other, singing and entertaining some pictures. PRICELESS. The drummer was CRAZY AMAZING, and the lead guitarist played his ass off to keep everyone on point & rocking throughout the night. BUSH has the magic it takes to play live & you feel it.
The band played really well, but Yannis needs to take a break and take care of his voice. To hear him struggle to hit some notes was difficult to watch/listen to.
The energy of the Van Buren was a solid medium. Things got a little weird when someone tried to jump up on the stage and got savagely tackled by security. That seemed to throw off the vibe for the rest of the show.
Love these guys and would want to see them again when they are back to full power & playing all of their regular bangers - they left out a few notable songs due to their vocal intensity.
Disappointed in the band for starting the concert right at 8pm when there was a line wrapped half way around the block of fans with tickets still waiting to get in.
What was the rush??? Afraid it would be past your bed time? Also for a more older adult crowd the disrespect of people just cutting in front of others and stopping and blocking views was extremely annoying, disrespectful and rude.
I went to close to 20 concerts this year and this was one of the ones I was really looking forward to and it was disappointing. Even the sound quality was not good. You couldn't hear them when they spoke to the crowd and could barely hear them singing.
I had been waiting to see these guys since 2020 when they cancelled on stage at The Innings Festival.
My favorite part was the lighting inside the Van Buren. A little hard to see at times cuz the outside doors were locked and there was nobody there which in result made the service seem non existent. The sign on the door saying Two Feet will not be performing tonight was right on point tho. So for that, i give 4 stars. By now, you should know I'm speaking with a subtle sarcasm that is funny yet, interestingly tasteful and I will give this review a fifth star when i get to see Two Feet perform with my own two eyes... 👀
It was hot as balls inside the actual concert area, which I don’t think is normal since I’ve been to probably 10 concerts here and don’t recall being that hot before but the bands killed it and were basically perfect. Also I’m old now (33) so I do appreciate the venue having really clean bathrooms with zero wait. While I do appreciate the grungy venues, the van Buren is just a level above without being so big that you lose the intimacy of what a concert should be in my opinion.
Incredible show @BigGigantic at The Van Buren!!! Thanks Dom for Your passion, artistry, the Music, & the Timeless music memories You give Us all. Last two times You played in AZ at M3F + Gem & Jam were pure 🔥. Last night You raised the bar with great support from Party Pupils & Goldfish. Your new music from Brighter Future 2 was dope & all the other classics You rocked made for an evening to remember...with SO many happy Phoenix local fans!! Thanks Gents...Keep up the great work 🙏🎶❤️ See You again soon
Words cannot express how awesome Spoon is in concert. They didn't have a big stage show, not even a backdrop with their name. What they had was a crazy amount of talent to make you really love the band more live than the recording of their music. Not one song sounded off. Amazing show. They are the reason I go to concerts. I just wish they'd played "Don't Make Me Target" but then they'd have had to cut some other great song from the set list.
The show itself was amazing. Something that was awful and nearly ruined my night was the girl taking tickets told me my tickets were FAKE! WTF! I bought them AS SOON as they came out,for the original show that was supposed to happen in 2020. We drove up from Tucson, coat quite a bit just to get to the venue. So I paid another $100 for my wife and I to get in. Not happy about that at all. But we came to have a good night.
I had 2 Bud Lights and felt great! Gabriel the security guard looked after the front row, where security put us because my wife is disabled. The Van Buren treated us great. I would definitely come back. LP was amazing!! I can't wait to see her again! Shout out to Van Buren
,LP and her team!!
If this concert had gone on for 2 more hours, it still wouldn't have been enough ( I didn't get to see "I Must Cry Outloud" performed! My number 1 Spotify song of 2021!). The new energy that TikTok has brought in is fantastic. I would highly recommend the VIP tickets if you're able to get them. Just talking to them in such an intimate setting makes you feel like you're part of their close knit, happy-ass family. They glow, they exude healthy, happy hearts purely, openly and willingly. I have loved this band more than any other for a decade now, but have never seen them and felt such life. I feel like this is only the beginning of a lifelong, productive musical powerhouse. I love you, Mother Mother. ❤
i went alone, i just moved to phoenix and i don’t know anyone. but since he is my favorite i didn’t want to miss it and i had the best time! He stayed after and took photos, talked and signed things for fans. i’ve been to about 100+ concert and i think this was the best i’ve ever been to. the vibe in the room was so happy and the way the band interacted with the crowd was really awesome!
All I can say is WOW,!!!!! THIS SHOW. BLEW ME AWAY! Not only the wonderful Simple plan , but the fabulousness of State Champs and We The Kings as well,. It's a rare thing when you get to see a show where you love all 3 bands and all of them just kick ass. (I didn't get there in time for the very first band , I luckily arrived just before we the king's played, luckily.
To finish up, I just can not even tell you how awesome this was. ROCK ON!¡!!!!
First time seeing Issues post-Bohn dropping and they were as good as I remember. Especially loved seeing TC screaming a bit. First time seeing I Prevail and boy was I blown away. Biggest pit I’ve ever seen, per the size of the venue, but man was this a killer band playing a killer set. Only listened to Trauma a few times but they were awesome! Also, Justin Stone never heard of him before but I’m going to have to look him up because he rapped about true things, true issues that we face and it was good to hear them live. 5 Stars for sure!!!
This show was UNREAL. I highly underestimated their guitarist’s skills – he’s one of the best out there today. (The recordings really don’t do him justice.) As a guitarist myself, I appreciate someone who surprises me with every note, and he does it. My favorite part of the show was probably the ‘90s rap suite (I Got Five On It, Let It Rose, etc.), aside from the crowd, which was absolutely fantastic. 10/10. You need to check this band out in person.
this got me so hyped
i got a chance to stand 5 ft away from eden and admire his beautiful ass face
and i also met other people LIKe Pierce and his three other friends:))
also there was this cute boy in white wit a mimi afro and i kept looking back and our eyes met every single time lol
anyways it was a blast i love eden and im glad i had a chance to go
i was nearly in tears that i couldn't meet him but im grateful i saw him live
What an amazing night!! I paid the extra like $60 for VIP. Meeting the guys was surreal (been a fan since 2007 but never been to a ATL show before!) and on top of that I had early access to front center views. Gnash did a fantastic job getting the crowd ready. He was relatable and engaging and I’m happy to say I added a few new songs to my routine playlist. Of course when ATL came out I about lost my mind. The show was exciting and enjoyable. Jack is a stage performer for sure and exercises this throughout the show. Rian is adorable and an amazing drummer. Alex is a hero. His vocals are definitely in my favorite top 5 male voices. I had a great time and want them to come back already. Worth standing on my feet for 7 hours straight!
