Coca-Cola Roxy

The Roxy bathrooms were clean and there's a ton of them. There's food on site too if you don't have time to grab something to eat prior to the show. Not anything out of this world but typical bar food just to hold you over. Highly suggest ordering the fries. Beers are $10 a pop. Cocktails a bit more, might as well get a shaker cup with a premade cocktail that's $22 and the cup gets you a discount when you return with it. Floor is very spacious for a large crowd. Merch line can get superrrr long and will extend into the show area- best to wait until after or in between sets. The Chats were fantastic. Good energy, great sound. The Descendants were fantastic as well, they played a great set. Mike Ness the singer of Social Distortion had lost his voice prior to the show, so you could barely hear him and his speeches sounded more like mumbles that you could barely understand but they still killed instrumental playing wise. The stage lights were a bit much at times and there were a ton of times I had to look away from the stage from the flashing/strobbing bright lights but other than that it was a good time overall.

An energetic and amazing show. The crowd was so engaged and friendly. A very good time had by all. They played full out for 90 mins. Songs from Free Spirits, Papota and Bano Maria and older. The band was so tight (Javier, Maxi, Edu, Tito La Bomba) . Ca7riel and Paco covered the stage frenetically, making eye contact with the crowd, bringing their playful charming selves front and center. Pablo Vigano (front of house engineer), kept the mix and sound on point mastering the mix of the live band and the prerecorded tracks. The art direction, costuming, set and storytelling was like part art piece and part rock concert. I was right up at the barricade, I jumped , danced and sang my voice hoarse. Such a great night of my favorite band in a perfect smaller theater. Go see them.it is an experience unlike any other.

Epic show. I haven't seen a crowd that rowdy in many years. Sevendust in their hometown... I do wish some of the gen z tools with no manners had stayed in mom's basement. This was the trade off for the energy. Lesson learned about the battery. Expect crazy rude people if you are anywhere in the front half of GA at the Roxy. We have been to upwards of a dozen shows at similar venues with GA over the past 18 months and none came close to this entitled suburban crowd. Alterbridge is waaay better than I remember too. Myles is a rare voice talent. I can see why Slash wants to make music with him. Tim Montana can get after it too (opener).

The energy was outrageous🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥. The venue is amazing big but a little hot because of the amount of people who were there, but the amount of people who were there definitely made the experience 10 times better baby Keem did his thing!!💪🏾🔥. The set up was amazing. It was an overall amazing experience drink prices are very reasonable, and the merchandise was not even expensive. Plus they have a coat check and valet parking less than two blocks away overall great pace to go to a concert can’t wait to go to my next one.

I had the Monitor Party upgrade and it was well worth it. I got to meet the band before the show and then got to be side stage for it. It was so awesome seeing it from this side and getting to interact with Jack side stage when he'd come around. Venue location was easy to get to, parking easy to find. Prices are way too high for everything venue related, but otherwise a great experience.

The girls were amazing performers and I was captivated the whole time!!! Sadly the other concert attendees had no concert etiquette from both the children there and the adults so I couldn’t see a thing for half the show. If you plan of going try to get in the front (you might get smooshed because people are constantly pushing on you) or get assigned seats. I am 100% going again and I would definitely recommend it

The show was Excellent! However, the seating was not. We were in Section 107 Row A Seats 7 & 8. These were not good seats....this area is on the floor in the back and is a direct path for everyone to go to and from the bar area. All night long we had people going in front of us and often times bumping into us because several people would try to pass each other at the same time. Even though we stood for the majority of the show, our view of the stage was often disrupted by the continued string of people going to and from the bar area. Also, near the back is where people like to congregate and talk OVER the music and the performers. So when the performers stopped to tell stories before they went into the next song, we could not hear them and had no clue as to what they were saying. Next time we will splurge on the balcony or seats closer to the stage. Overall, the Roxy is a cool venue and The Battery has plenty of food choices and other entertainment available.

While Halsey’s performance was amazing, the venue’s organization and management left much to be desired. From the confusing system for lining up, to the non-enforcement of all of the vaping inside, I would be hard pressed to attend another event at this venue. We lined up for Fast Lane around 3:45pm. There was much confusion as to which lane was which. Later on as it got closer to the show, people were obviously walking up and getting in line. Even when staff were informed this had happened, nothing was done to the offenders. The doors were supposed to open at 7:00, but didn’t move until 7:25. That was mass chaos and I guarantee many people who hadn’t waited all day slipped in during the chaos. We weren’t even asked to show our Fast Lane passes after paying $70 for them. Once the show started, the lady beside us blew vape smoke on my 14 year old daughter nearly the entire concert. How is this allowed? You search all bags, but allow vapes inside the venue. I’m so glad the night was incident free, because it seemed wildly overcrowded and it would have been disastrous if everyone needed to leave quickly. Again, Halsey…amazing!! Coca-Cola Roxy…not so much.

Flatland Calvary were so entertaining to watch and loved to see that it looked like they were having just as much fun as the fans were! It was so freaking cool to have Wyatt Flores and the Castellows come out too especially at the end with Wilder Blue! Wilder Blue and Flatland Calvary both came out on stage fairly quick which was awesome because I’ve definitely been at shows where you wait for so long for the artists to come out. There was several times through out the show where it smelled like w**d so I wish Coca Cola Roxy had cracked down on that a little better. I have no issue with people smoking w**d, however it can become overwhelming quick in a very crowded music venue.

I have been to a few concerts lately with some of my older kiddos and compared to Morgan Wallen and Luke Combs there just wasn’t any comparison. It was so nice to NOT be surrounding by young adults puking and/or so drunk they don’t even know what concert they are at! I felt so encouraged and truly the crowd and the performers were so amazing! He sounded better then from his album and you even get to hear some of his back story of which rarely occurs with most bands….if I could rate higher I would. It was people of all ages and truly was one of the best concerts I have ever been to and have been attending concerts of various genres for the last 30 years…wow I am old..I began at 16 so I guess do the numbers on that!

The Interrupters always put on an amazing show and are so kind to their fans especially their younger audience members. They take time to notice them and make them feel seen and appreciated. There was a young man at our show and it was his first show ever. The drummer tried to throw him a drumstick but it was intercepted. He came down after the show and made sure the young man and my daughter who is the same age got a button. This was the third Interrupters show for my daughter. At her second one the band did the same acts of kindness. You have to love a band that has great music and great character.

Shoutout Cat for putting on a good show. I wish he would’ve brought out someone like at other cites but he probably didn’t have anyone to bring and that’s cool. I wanted him to do more deep cut songs and show off his bag by playing some joints he worked on with other artist like Kendrick with Tu Pimp A Butterfly or Gambino with Because of The Internet, however he still rocked out like a boss. He played the popular songs and he had a good convo with the crowd during the performance. I hope he forever gets his flowers. He’s an amazing artist.

Venue was smooth , not much drink menu no hard liquor and u can't leave spot for more or u lose spot Infront stage. I was very upset no Bluebird days cocktail as option the one at CMA fest was amazing. It's ok I don't need be drunk to have A Damn Good Time Jordan gives that all himself. He sure was phenomenal and executed it all perfect. He has so much energy and boy was it one amazing show. Just like them all ,but something special bout this one and where my first was in Noblesville Indiana 2018. I'm not goin anywhere. I've left hospital to be at his shows he's worth the effort always. One thing I gotta say for being busy with Locks bday then show that man's so dedicated to his babies and his fans. Not one artist have I seen put that much effort into the two n book back to back concerts and definitely gives us all a DamN good time. Thank you Jordan for yet another wonderful show. Your very talented and are going somewhere great. The bands were great but the amount of “Stop The Show” was to an extreme. BVB stopped atleast 3 times, INK stopped 2 times and Motionless stopped 2 times and then I left early- so could have happened more. It was extremely frustrating and kills the whole vibe of the show. I’m not sure what can be done to keep this from happening but I noticed a lot of people leaving early because of it. The music was fantastic though when it didn’t get interrupted and songs had to be skipped constantly.

Jeff Beck: 10/1/22 “2022 has been a good one for catching some of my favorite guitar heroes LIVE: Joe Bonamassa, Neal Schon, Tab Benoit, Pat Travers, and last night it was the infamous Jeff Beck— one of Rolling Stone’s top 5 greatest guitarists of all time! I fought the Atlanta traffic ‘blow by blow’ arriving at the also infamous Coca-Cola Roxy with roots going back to the original Roxy movie palace. Ian had given us an earlier scare weather-wise but was no match in stopping the rock n roll powers that be. Note to self, do allow extra travel time when there’s a Braves game with a similar start time immediate to the venue. It was my first time seeing Beck (better late than never) and my first time visiting The Roxy! The 4000 capacity venue was set up for reserved seats and I was fortunate enough to have 4th row seats just behind what’s considered the pit (i.e. two rows of continental seating). it turned out to be a perfect local for capturing both audio and visuals. I had held a ticket once upon a time to see Beck which I had given away to a friend. It was the year I went to Florida for rehab so tonight’s performance was a redemption story of sorts being able to enjoy the show clean and sober some eight years later! Entrance to the venue revealed a no frills stage set up with a double curtain backdrop, moderate (but perfectly programed) lighting and no video screens. Jeff took the stage without fanfare backed by keys, drums and bass (stage L to R) for a 1 hour and 17 minute, 16 song performance. The setlist was as diverse as the sounds Beck exhibited. Only the one, true and infamous Jeff Beck could get away with covering the legendary artists he did during the evening: Robert Johnson, John McLaughlin, Jimi Hendrix, Lonnie Mack, Link Wray, Brian Wilson, and The Beatles. During that rather brief time Jeff threw the entire book at us leaving me shaking my head, all with his signature white on white Strat. There was the talk box, two handed tapping, slide, swells, JB ever working his three fingers plucking via the thumb, ring finger on the knobs, and the little finger controlling the bar (no pick). On Clapton’s version of ‘Me And The Devil Blues’ he mouthed the verses via talk box— I didn’t think it was possible on that selection. On ‘Little Wing’, the roadie brought out an additional white Strat with the headstock reversed to accommodate some even quicker string bends. On Mahavishnu’s ‘You Know You Know’ Jeff let loose the band. The band featured Rhonda Smith (bass) who recorded and toured a decade with Prince, German Anika Niles one of today’s finest modern drummers, and Geoffrey Arnold (keys) a producer, mixer and engineer by trade. With a nod of his head to Rhonda Jeff slipped over side-stage and let her show out her unique style of slamming and slapping and even some hammer and tap on the four string followed by a pounding drum solo by Anika pushing the limits on my phone’s decibel meter app. Yes the band was clearly there to back Beck but certainly proved that they could play real-deal alongside the Maestro. On ‘Freeway Jam’ from the great ‘Blow By Blow’, well let’s say you just had to hear it live— there is something vastly different between hearing a recording for 47 years and actually seeing it played LIVE. The show culminated with ‘A Day In The Life’, the captivated audience listening in dead silence. Jeff left us all awaiting an encore which did not happen. Beck extending his hands down by his side, he shook both his hands vigorously signaling that he had given us all he had. At 78 Jeff is virtually ageless, the evening’s show could have doubled for one decades earlier. There was no diminishment at all in his playing abilities. A man of little words, Jeff aside from a few thank you’s spoke little simply remarking on ‘Caroline No’ ‘I never thought I’d be playing Beach Boys’, and concerning his vocal ability these days, ‘I can’t sing but I just try and catch the feeling’. There were however plenty of smiles and beckoning hand gestures indicating a full and complete interaction with the audience. Coming off an opening round of gigs with ZZ Top, there was no setlist to follow along with for the one off show adding the element of surprise. ‘Captain Jack’ Johnny Depp was not part of the evenings line-up as in the first six shows of the tour. I didn’t feel as if there was anything lacking vocally because of his absence but it certainly would have been interesting should he have showed up to complete rock’s ‘odd couple’. There was an opener, ‘Catfish’ Hill Roberts (Americana) playing a half hour, six song set. It was difficult to tell if he was ‘that’ nervous opening for Beck or if some of it was part of his act but the Georgia native did fill the slot perfectly remarking how he wished we all could see Jeff’s pedal board as he could. A highlight of my evening was hooking up with a friend I hadn’t seen since Connecticut 1983— Vivian, who was able to occupy in an empty seat next to me for most of the show. I am absolutely heartbroken! They are my favorite reggae band of all time, and I just started a new job and have been heads down and missed that they were coming to Atlanta. Does anyone know if there is a live tape of the event, either night? David Hinds is a creative and inspirational genius shining the spotlight on injustice and calls all to be the best loving version of themselves. Please come back to the ATL!! Mike

Coca-Cola Roxy was an easy to access venue from the Nashville side. We had no issues getting to park and the line into the building was very quick. Bad Wolves played for about 45 minutes, Hollywood Undead played for about 1 hour, and Papa Roach played for 1 hour and 30 minutes. This was my first concert so I got seating instead of General Admission. The view from there was great. We had no issues seeing most of the stage. Everything about each show went as it was supposed to. There was a small mosh group in the crowd below and crowd surfing happened constantly during Papa Roach. Each Band played something new that they've been working on.

Awesome tour! Awesome energy! Awesome show! Awesome multi-genre music band that has made a sound all their own! Awesome expression of the hard of life and of hope! Awesome for all ages - I brought my 17 y/o daughter and 10 y/o son - his first concert! We love these guys and their music - and coming from Athens - we love Family & Friends, too! Can’t get enough of those drums! ♥️

Look, if you don't know about these bands, take a freaking chance because all 4 were absolutely incredible! Yes, I've seen Social D and Flogging Molly before and both are just amazing! The Devil Makes Three will impress the c**p out of anyone that knows talent when they see it even if the genre isn't your cup of tea because they're well rehearsed and put on a tight, extremely talented performance. Le Bucherettes have an extremely different sound and the drummer is absolutely off the chain talented. Not to say that the remainder of the band isn't talented because they are out on a limb with their sound so they're taking chances. It works if you keep an open mind. I enjoyed all of the bands in this show so much that I would indeed travel to another state to enjoy this show again. That might not seem like high honors but I'm a punk rock guy that was in punk rock bands that performed in the downtown Atl area in the mid to late 90's. So, needless to say, I've seen a ton of incredible bands that most people will never see in their lives because many are gone now. Those shows made indelible marks on me as a young adult, an adult, and some now as I'm becoming an old man. I promise you I have a very good insight into what's awesome and what isn't and if you're on the fence on attending this show, pay the money. You'll be extremely happy that you did.

I wish she could come in concert on her own. She deserves her own show. She is strong enough as a performer and has enough talent and plenty of material to have her own concert. My husband and I have been fans for years and cant wait till she comes around. She was wonderful during her meet and greet and just as humble as I imagined she would be. Gaby you rock!!! Love you.
