I love Breaking Benjamin and this was a dream come true to finally see them live. We were supposed to in 2020 but Covid stopped that. They played all of my favorite songs and I LOVED that his little son Cheech was on stage performing with them and that we got to sing him happy birthday! Unfortunately, he was having some sound issues and the guitar was drowning out the vocals. I think the mike was cutting out which sucked but I still loved it and would see them again.
The music was great as always but we did not need Aaron Lewis's political viewpoints. It's one thing to support a particular candidate but it's another to do it in an immature, offensive way. Say "God Bless" so and so but to cuss out and call names to the other candidate is childish and uncalled for. I've listened to Staind for well over 20 years but that really made me reconsider my support of the band.
Great show and a lovely group of artists. Love Bob Marley music and what he stood for ONE LOVE and bringing people together not trying to divide them. Wish I could of seen Bob Marley, but his sons did a great job of bringing the energy, spirit and vibes to the show.
Green Day was great ... Loud and energetic as expected
We went to see Rancid, and they didn't disappoint (other than only getting 30 minutes on stage) ... The Linda LIndas were fun, too
However, Smashing Pumpkins were stole the show ... Honestly, I wasn't expecting much since I didn't know much about them ... they were fantastic ... master musicians who put on a top notch show ...
I was a bit disappointed considering Kenny Hoopla was on stage longer than Poppy was. I understand Poppy was an opening act, but she was upstaged by Kenny. She sounded great and she at least sang her two most popular songs. She was energetic and seems to be enjoying herself, but she wasn't on stage but maybe a total of 20-25 minutes. Would have definitely like to have seen her stay on longer than Kenny who put forth a full 30 minutes.
Godsmack and Staind were both amazing. Super strange having "mix master mike" open the show. Sure would have been better had they used an up and coming local rock band instead. ( we do live in the live music capitol). I don't care what classic rock song you play, when you so that scratching crap it ruins it for me....and apparently most of the folks around me ad we were all complaining.
But again both actual bands were awesome.
It was an amazing amazing time. I am so glad that I was able to make it to that show every band from flesh hoarder to Lamb of God to Pantera totally made it worth battling the heat triple digits couldn't stop the power of Pantera. The tribute they did to Vinny Paul and dime bag Daryl Abbott was simply amazing made me tear up and cry. Rest in power dime bag and Vinny Paul. Your presence was definitely felt last night.
I took sooo many videos....Planet Caravan for the tribute to Dimebag for his birthday was soooo awesome 🥰 I didn't get one of them doing shots on stage and the ENTIRE CROWD singing Happy Birthday but it gave me goosebumps and was one of the best shows I have ever seen..... So, so special 💕 I am so happy I went 🥰 Zach Wylde played phenomenally and Charlie Benante was amazing!! Rex and Phil of course there are no words!!
Sounded absolutely incredible!! Just like they do on recording. The energy of the show was so great and I lost my mind to so many songs they played!! I got to help Chuck (the drummer) crowd surf which was my first time being close enough to be a part of true pit life. So so much fun!!
Ultimate EPIC Experience! Breaking Benjamin, Alice In Chains and Bush plus ThunderPussy were all great. This was an awesome event. I was looking forward to seeing Bush for the first time and Gavin did not disappoint. Just a great performance by all the artist, plus the weather was great.
AMAZING!!!
Gavin is a rock-god-machine! He still sounds GREAT, band was tight, BUSH has sooo many great songs, one of the few bands (AIC is also one) who continue to write good songs after 20 years!
Gavin is in amazing shape & I'm jealous LOL.
Not a breaking benjamin fan, but they were really good!
Then... the moment... Alice in Chains, I had high expectations, they delivered and then some! Their performance was... an experience, I didn't take any pix/videos because I was just in a trance, AIC has a special kind of magic no one can duplicate! Jerry doesn't really get credit as a singer, he should cuz he is amazing, Layne was also but many ppl forget Jerry was 1/2 of those vocals! Also, Jerry writes such killer crushing memorable riffs, the only person comparable is Tony Iommi as far as being a god of riffs.
I LOVE BUSH, I LOVE AIC, couldn't ask for a better show!!
Sublime With Rome was phenomenal. 3rd time to see them in person. Nothing against Incubus but they were not the reason I was there at all. Had an amazing time! Please one back to Texas/Austin when weather cools off!!! 🙏🏽🥵 I am spoiled from seeing them in Vegas 4th of July in the “Beach” at Mandalay Bay!!!
5 stars for the concert. Amazing. Great venue. But, transportation was a PAIN. $130 Lyft to go 25 mins away, and it took 30 mins for it to get to us. They need to line up a shuttle back to city center or something, or be much more transparent on their website how challenging/expensive it is to get an Uber/Lyft out of there.
This was one of the best shows that I’ve seen and heard in the past 2 decades. Not only was there plenty of songs ( nearly 2 hour set) from all of their repertoire, but the musicianship was amazing! Kudos to their sound engineer who made them sound amazing with a great mix!
As always, REO Speedwagon and Styx concert was outstanding. Germania Insurance Amphitheater venue is always a great place to see a concert. Even though the temperature at the beginning of the show was 100°, which was at no fault of either the bands or the Amphitheaters, we really enjoyed the concert, as we knew we would.

The COTA security was majorly flawed though and told the line to “just run” when we hit the track which in turn had people falling down and only being pushed further. I was screaming at the top of my lungs for help to fans and security and nothing. If this had of been after the Astroworld catastrophe I would have had a panic attack.
great performance from the boys like always but horrible security at cota. they allowed a group of over a thousand people RUN to the concert area in a very unsafe way. i ended up getting pushed and having my ankles stepped on after falling. im lucky it wasn’t worse than some other people i saw. if the venue would’ve been informed and had properly planned and not just wing it (not to mention the workers and how much they didn’t know? like none of the workers knew anything about anything) then it may have been better
The best picnic in years. DAC, Billy Joe, Ray Wylie, Hayes Carl, Steve Earle, Jaime J, Allison, Luke Combs, and of course Willie all killed it. Willie played two new songs and sounded great. We were leaning on the fence in the pit. Everyone else was behind us. Fun day!!
Cheap Trick first, Mad Co second, ZZ Top on 3 hours after scheduled start. Heard Mad Co a couple months ago in Nashville open for Lynyrd Skynyrd and acoustics much better in Austin. ZZ Top great set, great video, and great setting. Would go back tomorrow. Food OK. Beer readily available. Crowd friendly. Used upgraded parking at $25 per car. This saved a long walk or waiting for shuttle.
