Cage the Elephant were awesome!!!! Matt rocked his scooter with his broken foot. Freakin incredible show...LOVE CAGE!!!!
As for Art Park, it's one of the most unaccessable venues I've been too for a mobility impaired person such as myself. We used to go to concerts Art Park all the time, I mean many shows a season. I'll be honest, now that I'm losing my mobility, highly doubt I'll be back to this venue. It's going to be worth the drive to Toronto, Ontario to see the same band at a more accessible venue. They need to do better!
All four bands were awesome. Second time seeing Bones UK. Carmen Vandenberg is just a force on guitar and bass pedals. Candlebox has an entirely different lineup except for Kevin Martin but they hardly disappointed. The legend Jerry Cantrell was simply amazing . And Greg Puciato was more than capable handling Layne’s songs. Was never a big Bush fan but they killed it. Gavin Rossdale was extremely animated and having fun throughout entire set. “Flowers on a Grave” a highlight as Gavin proceeded to wade thru most of the crowd in front of the stage during the song . Just a tremendous evening of nineties rock with a great newcomer kicking off the show!
What a great show! Pat is amazing live, the whole band did great and they sound just like their recordings. All the interactive stuff they did with the crowd like taking selfies and videos was so cool. A great experience all around!
Venue- seating in the pit was like siting on a crappy diner chair.
Tori and the guys were amazing as always. Miss seeing you Matty, the drummer.
Mind blown. Jackie was incredible. Went to see Trombone Shorty (one of the best concerts you can see) and had never heard of Jackie. Now, we are trolling her online to find out when she will be back in the northeast so we can see her again.
Excellent show! The opener, Abraham Alexander, did a very good set of original tunes. Gary Clark is simply an r&b/soul/blues powerhouse, definitely one of my favorite shows from the last couple of years.
amazing, some of the people in the crowd were annoying as hell tho. heard someone say “I AM ILL AND YOU ARE NOT” when alex played mary :/ still had fun tho
didn’t even know them until i saw them live and am absolutely obsessed now, only issue is the performance was so good that the recordings can’t live up to it, but that doesn’t stop me from listening on loop
The show was excellent! I just wish he’d play some of the older classics. Can’t complain too much, though, I love Ben. Can’t wait to see him again.
Saw Styx at the Palace Theatre in Albany, NY. They absolutely killed it! They sound better today then they did back in the day. By far the best rock n roll act & sound on tour these days! I’d go see them anywhere…anytime!!! Kudos to all of the members for being true stewards of the trade!!!!
Ziggy and venue were great except for when we left. Took us a half an hour to get out of our parking lot. We sat and watched a whole line of cars parade by us for a long time. We parked in the lower section.
Band started off by keeping things chill as the sun set and the clouds passed by. Lights and smoke set the scene for what was to come, and as the day became night, the band launched us all into the stars with them.
Toad and the Wet Sprocket along with Gin Blossoms were good. But when Barenaked Ladies took the stage, they tore it up and left nothing behind. It was a great show. I’ now wondering why I haven’t tried to see them before now.
I will also say the finale was awesome. All three bands got together for a great performance of The Traveling Wilbury’s “Handle Me With Care”.
I was expecting them to be one of those bands that is awesome in studio, but didn’t sound that great live. Glad I was wrong. Incredible show, and a newfound respect. Won’t miss them again
This was my 19th time seeing Yes in all its different incarnations. It was the only time since the passing of Chris Squire. I was very impressed with this version of the band and had not expected to be. Billy Sherwood filled some extra large shoes competently with grace and confidence. Steve Howe was amazing as always, especially his slide work. Geoff Downes is playing better than ever while Jon Davison is singing stratospherically with ease. I loved the set list choice of material. High point for me was Gates of Dilerium. Special mention to America and Howe’s solo guitar piece. Can’t wait to hear a new studio record from this band. A great night out!
Great show. Great venue. Mark McGrath is a genuinely cool dude and great LIVE performer. Artpark is a uniquely cool concert location. So much fun. Wanna do it again!
The show was everything I wanted and more... Of course they played their #1 hits from the 90's and early 2000's which sent everybody into a frenzy but they also did some great cover songs like 90s Goliath hit Blister in the Sun from the Violent Femmes and paid homage to 80's punk rock band The Ramones with both cover leaving the crowd in absolute Awe! It was a beautiful night with great weather just perfect for a Sugar Ray soon... I've always wanted to Fly with the boys and I'm very glad I got the chance to last night! Thank you Sugar Ray, Better than Ezra, Emerson Hart, ArtPark, Lewiston, and everybody there!!! I feel so blessed!
@jimmyeatworld was amazing! They sounded perfect! An awesome time full of great music surrounded by beautiful people! Also thanks for getting people to stand up! My monster legs were hurting from sitting on the grass... I would've stood up to dance a lot sooner but I wanted to be respectful of the people behind me and not block their view! I made new friends because you did that, so thank you! Also you recovered perfectly from the slight pause due to equipment disruption! Loved it! You brought so much energy in the hot sun! Thank you, thank you, thank you for one helluva rock show!
I got to meet All Time Low which was such a unique opportunity. And I could not have been more happier. Each and everyone one of those musicians were so amazing. Couldn't have asked for a more awesome concert.
This venue is perfect for everyone. There’s a large general admission area in front of the stage, and lawn seating outside of that area. Every spot is a good spot to see the stage.
As for Primus, they put on a great show, as always. The crowd was pumped and had a blast!
