Lexington Opera House

This was an excellent show. A.J. mixed some of his originals in with covers of his dad's hits, along with covers of other hits ("Stay With Me" by Faces, "Nothing From Nothing" by Billy Preston). He is a great musician in his own right, on both keyboards and guitar. He told some great stories, interjecting humor in most. For those that haven't heard his original music, I feel a lot of it sounds like Randy Newman (think "You've Got a Friend in Me" and "It's a Jungle Out There"). Some of his other tracks sound very McCartney-like, even Elvis Costello-ish (his pop ballads, not the rockers). If you are a Jim Croce fan, seeing A.J. is a must!

Beyond all expectations, and this venue is stunning

Absolutely by far one of the best shows I have seen in many many years. I have been a Metheny fan since I was 18. At 50 years old I finally got to witness the PURE MAGIC of this master guitarist. Words cannot describe it I would travel to see him again. It was absolutely incredible.

Best show I've been to in a long time. I feel like he's very underpayed for how good he is. Would definitely go back and see him !

Lady A was a five star performance but the two opening performers were not enjoyable and took 1.5 hours of time that should have been devoted to Lady A

Wow, I expected to see the band play some 60's hits including their own. This far exceeded expectations. Peter is an incredible entertainer, walking out into the audience and spending quite a bit of time with hilarious banter. He was masterful at engaging the audience, and made the experience personal with many references to local sites. The show would have been great just listening to the music, but him creating the total entertainment package made this an exceptional experience. I have seen many 60's shows, including the Happy Together tour many times. The Herman's Hermits show is as good as it gets.

I saw Kassi in Norfolk, Va. at the Nashfest event. I will tell you that she was beyond fantastic. Great stage presence, great band and an awesome voice. She rocked the crowd like no one else has. I can see this rising star being at the Top one day. Will definitely see her again. Just a great show.

Another outstanding performance by this incredible band. High-octane mix of rock, country, folk, bluegrass, gospel, rockabilly -- all with superb musicianship and delightful interplay with an enthusiastic audience.

This band just keeps getting better! They give a fun and engaging concert. The sound quality is always excellent.

This was such an amazing show. The venue was breathtaking. The stage was set up like a small coffeehouse or bar. Candles, lamps. Very intimate. Sound quality was excellent with the light show being fantastic. I can’t say enough good things about this concert. I loved it.

WOW! Jones sang Purple Rain and… WOW! I’ve heard a lot of guys sing that song, and I can say without a doubt that Jones’ voice was more powerful than Eddie Vedder or Corey Taylor on that song. Hands down the best voice I’ve seen live

It was wonderful! Beautiful setting all the way around. I will be back to the Opera House for sure! Melissa is an amazing artist.

He and his guitar player( I didn’t catch his name) put on a very good show in Lexington last night.

Wonderful evening at a fantastic venue! Riley Green was very engaging and played a lot of great songs! We also really enjoyed the opening acts! The staff at the Opera House was outstanding!

She and Karen Mills were WONDERFUL! I haven't laughed that hard in ages and ages! I highly recommend you see them both!

Close your eyes and you think you are listening to the Beatles. Open your eyes and you think you are seeing the Beatles. Great musicians, nailed every song, great humorous banter. Not sure if everyone caught the subtleties of how they copied the Beatles stances and body movements either. Flat out great time!

Glad to have this band back in Lexington! A good show but did not feel as tight as previous shows (Queen, Led Zeppelin) and then they pick the Police’s Synchronicity album as their next show? No thanks, I’ll pass

Waited 30 yrs finally got to see him I loved him since day one. So entertaining!! Love my Clay!! It was a very Happy birthday for me and a dream come true!! Thanks Clay u helped me alot through ur songs No words can describe you ur simply amazing and a voice that's outta this world. 😘💋😘

Fantastic!!! Took my daughter and her 2 sons. Told my oldest son about the concert, he took his daughter who plays violin in U K orchestra. We all had a blast. Told my daughter in Ga to go see them when she gets a chance. Thanks to Lexington Opera House for having them. POPPI Clay and family
