Jamey is a great artist and sooooo good live. I would definitely recommend going to his concert. His band is second to none with multiple members and instruments. There was some saxophone and trumpet play which I didn’t expect. There is just a cool and humble vibe about this guy that makes the experience so great. We paid $34 for a ticket, sure we weren’t that close but I believe the acoustics were better off further back. Kudos to Jamie for not charging $400 a ticket like other artists.
All four bands were…fantastic! And for fans of Mastodon and LOG, it doesn’t get much better. The former played all of their “Leviathan” album in order while the latter did the same for their “Ashes of the Wake” and eventually closed the show with their theme song, “Redneck”. The Pit was dangerous so everyone had a fine time.
JR was awesome!
The venue was good. We flew in from Tampa for the concert. The only downside was that there was a pit in front of us. Paid for first row seated seats and people were standing in front of us, so that was disappointing. Also, we bought fast passes, but didn’t need them because the venue is so small that there are no lines.
He gave my daughter one of the best memories when he came out and did a meet and greet!
BZ live with Josh Ross was awesome! The venue was good. We flew in from Tampa for the concert. The only downside was that there was a pit in front of us. Paid for first row seated seats and people were standing in front of us, so that was disappointing. Also, we bought fast passes, but didn’t need them because the venue is so small that there are no lines.
BZ put on a great show, a great spectacle!
BZ was fantastic live! He's a great entertainer, sings better live than on the record, the stage and effects were on point, and he's going to be a megastar within the next year so I'm glad to have been able to see him perform at this venue. Redhat amphitheater is a great venue in the heart of downtown Raleigh. We stayed at a local hotel and walked 2 blocks to the show. Summer evening shows are hot until the sun sets behind the stage at around 8pm and there's really not a bad seat in the whole venue. Good variety of beverages and the lines moved well. The bathrooms are adequate, but it's hard to serve 6000 people without having a long line. We were section 2 about 15 rows back.
5 Seconds of Summer played an incredible show, I could not have had a better time. The transition between songs was flawless and clearly they were all a well-oiled machine. I have been a huge fan for a few years and I could not be more happy or proud of my favorite band.
I was so excited to attend this concert because I had wait a year and a half for it due to having to miss his concert last year in Va due to a last minute family illness. Walker definitely was worth the wait!! By far The Best Concert EVER! I love Walker’s music, his humbleness, his love for family, and most of all his boldness to share what God has and is doing in his life! I can’t wait to see him again!!!
Best show I’ve ever been to!!! I’ve been a fan of dirty heads for a long time and have always wanted to go see them live but I was never able to. Well I finally did and they were amazing!! The energy and charisma they have is unlike anything I’ve ever seen if you ever get the opportunity to see them live I highly recommend it!🤙🏻
August 8. 1977 was my first Frampton show, with my mom. Forty-six years later I’m still going (20+ shows later), but now with my almost 30 year old son. The frenzy has subsided, but we are left with an amazing musician and genuinely gracious human being. Two solid hours of a tight band, having fun doing what they do best.❤️
Great concert by a talented artist! Played all his hits plus two cover songs, one by Soundgarden (“Black Hole Sun” as a tribute to Cornell) and another by George Harrison (“Why my guitar gently weeps). Everythjng was great and we all enjoyed it including Peter Frampton. He is older but still rocks!
Incredible! Ryan backed by an amazing band was quite a show. Deep cuts from the Cardinals catalog reimagined for a live stage act, super creative and beautiful. Ryan was a true rock star, flexing his guitar skills for us all. The light show was great too. I wish I could see it again! Come back to Raleigh soon
Ryan and the Cardinals were in top form as they played with passion and energy despite rain falling the entire show. The band had a funky vibe which was fueled by Don Was on bass guitar. Ryan was humorous and engaged with the crowd throughout the show. Highly recommend seeing Ryan and the Cardinals on this tour.
Top 5 show I have ever seen (all bands!) - heat index well over 100° and these guys gave there everything. Really remarkable; I was wiped out as just standing to watch. I can’t swear it but I believe lead singer Adam Granduciel was actually cramping or just completely exhausted, dehydrated likely, by the end - they did not due an encore for these reasons is my guess … Folks knew it! LOL, most of the crowd OK because they were just us spent! … I heard not one person complain because it was clear they had no more to give. Incredible; true prfessionals. Had tickets to see them again in Wilmington it but unfortunately Hurrican Ian … I will never miss these guys - Sadly I think they are the most incredible band In the business today that nobody knows about. Do you like Petty, Dylan Springsteen, Pink Floyd, even say Talk Talk, go!!!
Not sure what to say but WOW! Too short a set. He was awesome and the band was tight. Great show, There is no way that man is 70 years old! He had an incredible strong voice and stage presence. Some him in the 80's and just as good if not better. I would love to see him with full stage and back up singers. Kudos John!!
concert was good, first time seeing them. opening act lo moon was also good, but not mentioned on any website which is kinda lame. what was disappointing was our seats. the seat chart on ticketmaster for red hat amphitheater was totally fraudulent. it showed a cordoned off area of 6 seats, but was really just a long row of shoulder to shoulder folding chairs.
what ticketmaster showed as our seats…totally false
Been wanting to see The Offspring since the 90s and finally got my chance, was not disappointed!
These guys are true professionals. Cool lights, fantastic sound plus Dexter and Noodles are great at working the crowd. The setlist included a couple songs from the new album (which I really like) and the "greatest" hits, although I was really hoping to hear one song in particular which wasn't played.
Also, this was my first trip to Red Hat Amphitheater in Raleigh but it definitely will not be my last.
I’ve seen Nine Inch Nails 9 times and this was the worst. Aside from it being a comparatively lower energy show, the massive amounts of fog and very little lighting on the band made it really difficult to see them. Standing in the pit, we got a lot of SUPER BRIGHT lights flashing directly in our eyes. I closed my eyes and covered them and that still didn’t block out the flashing lights. This was the first time in my life I actually considered leaving a show because of the lighting. I stayed because I paid $150, but seriously, it was pretty awful.
For a smaller venue it was an excellent time! Sabaton opened and for the first time hearing them, I will follow them from now on. Judas Priest was on point as usual! Played all their best music. Hard to believe that it’s going on fifty years. I hope Richie Faulkner mends well and is able to tour in the future. Looking forward to more from them!!!!
They never let us down. Killer performance, even though they were rushed due to weather.
Jam band lovers who will only see jam bands are missing out on some amazing rock music… The Used made a point for some “Emo” f-off bands out there that still stand the test of time.
It was awesome. Dropkick Murphys is just the most energetic deep and professional band ever! Love them! Clutch was something new...great musicians...I still don't get it the first band. The crowd surfing was a bit dangerous and make us uncomfortable also the mosh pit but is understandable because the music gender.
