The fact that this even became a real thing is amazing to begin with! But the true cast being there made it even cooler! The Bloopers, Pregame Intro, New Season Teaser and the Atmosphere itself were 100% a reason for me to come back again! The Charity it’s going to was also a huge WIN for everyone. The only thing I wish was that Shorsey was Mic’d! Other than that 100% WIN in our book!
This was my first time seeing Blink live and they did not disappoint! I bought the tickets for my daughter as her sweet 16 present last year, it was her first concert and she had the best time ever! I hope they have an another tour in the future because we will definitely be there! Not only was their performance great, they were funny and interacted with the fans! 10 out 10!! LOVED THEM!
Seeing Blink-182's One More Time Tour at the Little Caesar's Arena in Detroit was an incredible experience! Mark, Tom, and Travis still have it after all these years! The fog, flames, indoor fireworks, and LED jumbotron screens just elevated the experience to new heights! Seeing Blink-182 live was one major item on my life bucket list and I can say that this event vastly exceeded my very high expectations! I'm still smiling and singing the whole day after!
The One More Time tour is a must-experience event for fans young and old! I attended with my wife.
Everything about the LCA venue was also fantastic. Seamless and streamlined security process, a greater variety of food and drink options than any other major sports/music event space I've ever visited, and the seats were incredible!
Please consider coming to the LCA for a music event and/or seeing Blink-182 at another stop on their tour!
The wait time was too long. No dj in between each artist made it very boring. The sound was terrible. Too loud and couldn’t hear the artist singing. The performers were amazing it was the in between that made this not such a good show. Hopefully moving forward the stage came be set before the audience arrives and the sound issues are fixed.
I got these tickets for my 14 year old daughter and I think I had as much fun as she did. Fantastic show! Love that it started right on time. The candle countdown to the start of the show was fun. Show was entertaining and Olivia’s voice was amazing. A lot of crowd interaction. Atmosphere was fun and friendly. Would definitely see her again.
I was so looking forward to seeing Usher. He has been on my top 10 concert to see for some time and even more so after watching clips of his Vegas show. My expectations may have been set too high and little over sold on “Usher @ Little Caesars Arena” as there were 8 other acts to take the stage before him. I felt the other Jingle Ball artist (Flo Rida, Jelly Roll, Doechii and others) did a fantastic job of hyping (keeping the hype) of the concert as they passed the stage to the next. When it became time for Usher, the mood suddenly changed. I believe he was intending to do a striped down set (similar to an acoustic show) for his performance but end up feeling unprepared and underwhelming. Stating this hard for me to say as I truly appreciate there are so many things that go in to having Usher preform in the middle of all his commitments. Unfortunately, there was a significant amount of each song where the crowd sang the song in place of him. More than I felt acceptable being the headliner and Usher. He has shown many times over many years/platforms how capable and accomplished of a performer his is. For me this concert was an opportunity to see an artist that I have enjoyed so much over the years and was so excited to have him in our state to preform. Sadly, I feel the only experience I got from the show was being in the same arena as him and get to have a type of an Usher/crowd jam session. He is still an artist I admire and wish him well for Super Bowl and Vegas but Michigan really missed hearing you sing.
This was the BEST concert I've ever been to. It was like going to three concerts in one night. I have wanted to see Toby Mac for years!!!!!! Tonight I got to see 3 0f my 4 favorite Christian artists. What more could a person ask for. Toby was everything I knew he would be, as was Diverse City. Thank you, thank you thank you! :-)
Love Duran Duran and the show was good, but I have 3 main complaints.
1) Stage lighting was horrible - too many bright and blinding spotlights aimed at the audience and it made it impossible at times to see the band!!
2) Sound was bad. Very distorted. Familiar songs didn’t sound familiar.
3) Not happy with full set list. Most fans are there to hear the old classics from our youth. Too many new and post 80s songs included and therefore many great retro songs not played!
Duran sounded AMAZING! Loved hearing so many old deep cuts that I’ve not heard them play in years (Lonely In Your Nightmare, Nightboat) as well as newer songs like Give It All Up and Dance Macabre. I haven’t missed a Michigan show since 1989 and each time I see them, I think it’s my favorite show! Last night truly was a high. THANK YOU!!!
Tickets to see Iron Maiden for my birthday? Pretty good present, if you ask me! Anyway, the band was unbelievable. Bruce sounded amazing, considering his age and his recovery from throat cancer. Steve and co. put on a show to remember. It felt like a stage performance, and when Eddie came on, the whole place went ballistic. Especially when they played ‘The Trooper’. Up the Irons!
even though we were so high i felt like i would fall over and die the whole time, hayley and the band made the experience so euphoric it didn't matter. i did have to sit down a few times due to dizziness of the height/smoke/crowd but everyone else seemed fine!! unlike any concert i had ever experienced, fireworks, glitter and confetti cannons, bringing a fan on stage who KILLED IT, hayleys AMAZING dancing, so many things made this concert memorable!
The performance was great! Loved that y’all played some songs from the new album as well as some of your most popular songs from years ago! The stage design with the moving pieces from the ceiling and the B stage that rose up from the back was super unique, so fun to watch, and really worked with the mood y’all were trying to create. One negative, leave the politics talk out of the show. Really killed the vibe at the end of the show to get a lecture on what your political views are and how we should support them. Cringy.
I love The Who. They are one of my favorite bands, but last night was really not a Quality show as they usually do (this was my 4th time attending a showof them). Pete T. had a lot of technical difficulties at the start of the show and also Roger D. had a few down further the show. Band and orchestra were great, very good musicians.
I have seen Eric Clapton twice, in 1994, and 2005, I am a huge fan. But last nights show was spectacular. The band was extremely tight with Clapton, the excellent base playing of Nathan East, Doyle Bramhall II, Paul Carrack and the other keyboard player that i don't know, and that very impressive drummer Sonny Emory! What impressed me is how Eric acknowledged all the band members during and after the show.
Even tho ticketmaster labelled me a "bot" & I missed half the show due to not being able to transfer my ticket I bought - I sneaked into the pit (where my ticket would've allowed me 2b), just in time to have Tyler crowd surf over my gf & myself, on his air mattress.. Typical 21p live show that everyone should experience at least once in their life
Great vocals, packed show, harmonies were on point. Would’ve loved to see Deacon Frey in this Show but hopefully he gets better for next time. To see him performing his dad’s hits in his hometown state would of been Epic! Wish Hotel California had a reprise during the encore as I didn’t expect the show to start so soon. Missed that song as parking was confusing.
Not the best . . . not the worst.
+ High energy from all the members (old -- and some are quite old) and new
+ Great musicianship
+ Played all the hits with a minimum of needless banter
- Sound was not good. The bass and drums were over amplified which drowned out the lead singer. Also, several instances of annoying feedback.
- Volume does not translate into quality
- Odd and distracting (at times) choice of video graphics. For several of the songs the computer generated images has zero relevance to the song being played -- both in terms of content and pace
In an ironic twist -- the opening act (Toto - a very odd and poor replacement for the original Billy Idol co-headline act) sounded much better. Exceeded our expectations in terms of sound quality and general performance.
Amazing stage production. Muse really gives you your money’s worth. The stage props, the back up dancers, the light show. Everything was top notch and well executed. A little too many tracks played from the new album, would’ve liked to hear some more of their older stuff. But you can’t fault them, they’re touring behind a new album and those are the songs you expect them to feature.
Incredible night in Detroit, only the second appearance by Radiohead in 20 years. As a long time fan who’s had to travel out of state and to Canada, it was a treat seeing them just minutes from home. We attended both nights in Toronto as well. Detroit got a solid setlist, the man bun came down TWICE, and overall another solid performance.
Early in the day, friction with the arena caused some problems - despite many fans warning them that the crowd would be there early, they were unprepared and tried to punish us by refusing to open bathrooms. Later we were put in the beer garden and segregated which was mostly fine because it was a cool day and we had shelter. (If it had been hot being forced in a greenhouse all day may not have been so fun.) But food options were limited and we weren’t allowed to leave from 1pm on. But having access to drinks, seating, and power to charge phones made everyone VERY happy & appreciative. After security realized the diehard early arriving fans had a number system and were organized and willing to cooperate, the attitude changed and it was great. The only missed opportunity was allowing us access to the merch table early. Every date so far had one table open at 4 so fans like us that arrive early for a good GA spot can buy our stuff and put it in the cars well before doors open. Since we were cordoned off at 1pm we didn’t get that opportunity and we had to arrange for local friends to buy our stuff because a lot of things are sold out after the shows. If they would have let merch set up in the beer garden and let us return to cars it would have been 10/10.
A HUGE thank you to LCA for checking our fan numbers upon GA entry. Several people slept on the street the night before and deserved those center rail spots.
