Buxton Opera House

Super evening. Buxton Opera House is a lovely venue. The sound was excellent and Richard Thompson was on great form. The support act, Danny Bradley was also excellent. Memorable.

Joanne had to cut short her show due to a throat bug but she made up for it by giving her guitar hell. A real treat to watch.

Despite battling poor health and having to end the concert early she still managed to impress. Wishing her a speedy recovery!

Great venue, made the show very intimate. Edwyn was on great form, sad it's his final tour but pleased I had sorted tickets. He will be missed but he has left so many great tunes. Hopefully he will continue to record.

For 2hrs I forget about what's going on in the world and enjoy the world's greatest tribute band,pure magic.

I live in Tamworth, so have the NEC, NIA (or whatever they are called, this week) and Birmingham Town Hall closer but I REALLY like the Buxton Opera House as a venue and it is only an hour from Home. Dom Martin played an enjoyable set, as the opener and the evening got better. Robin Trower belies his years and played with obvious enjoyment on his face. His enthusiasm is infectious and it showed in the playing of the Drummer and Bassist/ Vocalist. I thoroughly enjoyed another visit to Buxton and the Show. Got the Paul Jones/ Manfreds booked may do the Purple Zeppelin and ELO Shows, too.

Brilliant guitarist but where we were sat the sound was really poor.

Lovely venue, one of my favourites….staff are great, very friendly… and the band…. Well… what a simply stunning show, the best Springsteen tribute ever , and I’ve seen many… Vocals, musicianship, stage performance, sound lighting… all top quality. This is a must see show.

Leo was just awesome, stories of what I spired a couple of the songs, he was funny endearing and his voice was just great. Really glad I went. Really enjoyed myself.

Second time to see the band and they were just as fantastic as the first time. All excellent musicians and superb vocals and harmonies. Definitely better than the originals now (who I saw last year). My only very small gripe is that I didn’t like The Last Resort as the encore, it’s not a favorite of mine and I preferred last year when they used Hotel California. I think for those not over familiar with the Eagles back catalogue, HC is a better and more recognisable finale. I was also disappointed that Best of my Love didn’t make it into the setlist as that one is a favourite. I appreciate though, that the band members like to mix the set list up so fair enough, it won’t stop me booking for next year

This was a brilliant show from start to finish. The vocals of the group was very very good. Excellent solo performances by each of the members of the group (apart from drummer) with great music played. This was our first time watching The Illegal Eagles but won’t be our last.

The whole show was absolutely incredible. Very talented musicians and the incredible Elkie Brooks who has been producing hits for a long, long time!

Incredible! This might be the best show we attended this year! The venue was beautiful and the staff really kind. Enormous thanks to the wonderful person on the merch stand who kindly introduced my 8-year-old to Newton who was so incredibly kind and took the time to chat with her and take photographs! The show itself was brilliant. We had a great view from the dress circle, and both Sam and Newton were amazing! It was our first time seeing both artists and it couldn't have been better - just a truly perfect evening!

Great entertainment from both Newton and the support, Sam from Cornwall! Humour, audience participation, craic, excellent musicianship and above all beautiful songs sung by brilliant singers @newtonfaulkner and Sam from Cornwall. 😃👍🏻🎼🎸🎤
