The Sheldon Concert Hall and Galleries

So glad that the Side Eye project brought Pat back to St. Louis. Another evening of high energy from virtuoso, multi-instrumentalist Pat Metheny and beyond-splendid accompanists, Chris Fishman, master of a maze of keyboards and synthesizers, and Joe Dyson-dynamic and energetic percussionist; along with capable, agile and animated bassist and vocalist and harmonic percussionist. What a treat enjoying these 2.5 hours in such an intimate, acoustically pleasant setting. Hopefully we’ll have future opportunities to thrill to Pat Metheny performances.

The Sheldon is a small historic venue. While I scored a 5th row seat I don't think there's a bad seat in the house. At times the instruments can overwhelm the sound of the singer but they managed to strike a nice balance. After over 4 decades of performing Margo still sounds fabulous. They played a lot of my favorites and previewed some new stuff. I really enjoyed the show.

A truly rare and wonderful human, absolutely radiates joy, talent, depth, and heart. I will see him perform again at any and every chance I can get.

Susan Werner is a great entertainer. She always leaves you satisfied, never disappointed. Her humor and talent are clear. She plays familiar songs and introduces new ones each performance, so you never find it repetitive.

Very good show. China Forbes is truly wonderful. The band is outstanding and performs with virtuality. The Conga line is really cool, as was the crowd who danced in the aisles.

This was my first visit to this venue. It is small and intimate with excellent acoustics. We had a lovely evening and the band was outstanding. Practically the whole second half of the show everyone was on their feet dancing. I will be returning to this venue for future events and I am now following the band on Facebook and we'll go see them again if they return to St Louis.

Justin Hayward once again gave an amazing performance. When he started playing the rock and roll about half way through the show, his younger self shined through! We totally enjoyed seeing Justina and we would definitely go to another concert anytime soon!

Like a dream. Hayward never disappoints. His voice, his humor, his creativity allows to make you feel he is there performing solely for you. The kinship he has with his "little band" and the respect he shows for them is like being with friends. Can't wait to do this again.

Better than ever! Third time seeing them and they always deliver. Momma sounded especially great this show and every single one of them is a force. They simply make the world a better place. I'm grateful that they share their gifts and that they come to St. Louis as its much closer for me than Branson.

Pat never disappoints! Loved hearing the tunes with the pared down trio in the second row at the Sheldon. Unbelievable experience at an unbelievable venue. Saw the show in Champaign two nights later and the Sheldon show stood out especially with the bonus Are You Going With Me encore that wasn’t played in Champaign! Thanks Pat and the staff at the Sheldon for an unforgettable experience!

Pat Metheny did not disappoint. He played for over 2 hours without a break and played with the energy of twenty year old. Both the keyboard player and the drummer were amazing musicians as well. overall, the concert was exciting and fun. The Sheldon, where he performed, is my favorite venue in St. Louis because of the perfect acoustics and it being a place where there really are no bad seats.

Great venue and great concert! Really enjoyed RIcky and Kentucky Thunder. Loved when he sang that song w/o accompaniment that his dad sang to him. It was so touching and demonstrated his amazing talent. We will definitely go and see him again when he comes to our area. Excellent show!!!

Neko put on an excellent, although long delayed, show. She and the bad really seemed to be enjoying themselves and there was a good deal of crowd interaction. Can't wait to see her again.

This was the second time I have had the great honor to see Hot Rize perform. As I expected, they did not disappoint. They have a chemistry on stage with each other is so rare in bands. Each member of the band are masters of the instruments they play. They are all wonderful singers and harmonize like they are one voice. These talents combined with the masterpieces written by the great Tim O'Brien make Hot Rize a band that is truly legendary.
