Folly Theater

Venue is still so classy and beautiful. The venerable lady The Folly is the still the most comfortable and relaxed place to hear music in KCMO, (no shade to Kauffman). Hot Club still has the showpersonship, the individual and collective musicianship, the energy, fun interplay, and the sheer joy of their music. The Western swing of Bob Wills and his heirs is such an important and overlooked part of the American music. HCoC makes it accessible to all and hits the on-ramps to jazz, gypsy, European and Russian updated traditionals. Is there nothing they can't play? Follow them.

It was a very good concert. Sat on the floor this time and sound was good. Saw him in this same venue last year and sound was horrible. Steven would say things and look for a reaction from the crowd. He got none, as we couldn’t hear or understand what he said. I was sitting in the balcony, but I heard similar comments from others seated on the floor.

They were so good! I wish they could have played longer!!

It was a wonderful time of music memories and ministry of encouragement. The Folly Theater gave it the feel of an intimate setting with an old friend.

Perfection

Take a beautiful venue and add a talented artist and the result is pure magic. Alex Cuba performed a solo show at the Folly Theater to a few hundred fans and the result was a memorable night. He was warm and entertaining as he joked and conversed with the audience in between songs.

The show was absolutely amazing...even though KC was a let down crowd wise (their loss). Wish the show was longer for longer laughs but stayed true to that Letterkenny humor we fans love!

I've seen Steven alot over the year's. He always performs a Great Show and will touch your life and heart. This has to be one of my favorite shows of his. Three Hour's of nothing but Steven Stories and Hit Song's. You won't be Disappointed. I'm thinking about seeing his second leg of show's next Year. If you never seen Steven Curtis Chapman, GO......
