The finest in Rock! Legends playing on a rather small stage - unthinkable with legends as the Rolling Stones or Depeche Mode and such. Last chance to get close to a highest level band. Can't understand why Deep Purple is that underrated. Of course Ian Gillan cannot do Child in Time anymore or any of the high-pitched-tones, but for the rest his singing doesn't miss a thing: great timing, great expression, great drive. He is such a fine singer and performer-you will see! He's most charming! His looks won with aging, definetely. He has very smooth body movements, that's so great together with that rather hard rock. Deep Purple is a band which connects true musical art with hard and speedy rock, that makes them so classy: melodic rock. Roger Clover, the base-player, is a podium-beast! He's the one putting on all that drive! He and the drummer, Ian Paice, are the perfect synchronicity! They form the running motor of that immense, full sound they're producing on stage! And they are accelerating! Add the characteristic organ by a virtuosus and that great rock-guitar by the new one, and enjoy. I did!!! I am so very thankful I had the chance to see them, even that close! (I spontaneously booked two tickets more for another concert!) Oh, by the way, for once the art-projections on the background weren't irritating, instead they added value: close-ups of the hard-working musicians, for instance the fingers on the keys of the organist, or Ian Gillan's pleasant face in close-up, or the playing of the guitarist, sometimes blended into well animated 1960ies-like graphics, simple but cool. Last but not least: the first band playing that evening is nobody less than the following band of Jefferson Airplane (Somebody to love, We build that city) !! The are called "Jefferson Starship" now. The original singer is performing, and i think the drummer. Maybe more. Female singer is a real rock queen, too! So you get 2x the highest professional music for your little money. What a treat!

It was a beautiful night to watch Newsboys live! They put on a great show with fantastic songs. The night couldn't have been better, thanks Newsboys!!
