Venue was great, we're just disappointed this was a DJ set because it definitely wasn't clear when we booked the tickets. The communication could have been better. Regardless we had a great time, the guy is still a legend.
It was good not great, the vocal was to over taken by the instrumentals but not in a good way.. I expected whirr to shine but Nothing was the band of the night.
This woman 🖤 She exudes confidence and vulnerability and it’s palpable. I cried so much and felt so connected to her music and to myself. Literally flew across Canada to catch her in Montreal and I’m so glad I did!
Awesome concert by Kasablanca and discovered a new DJ going by the name of Script. He warmed up the place with great rhythms and variations of melodies, unlike St.Laurent, two DJ's that kept a linear melody during their presentation.
The band gave a fantastic performance and got the crowd going. But the sound at Fairmount Theater is often less than par, and Paul Riedl's voice sounded muddled in the back. But overall, great performance.
Awesome venue, awesome lineup, and amazing performances.
My only critique was that an activist group was given full reign on the stage before Destroy Boys perform. Don't get me wrong, I fully support the group's work to help Palestinians. It's just that the militant way they riled up the crowd has in many cases over the last year led to anti-Semitic violence in my city from people who lack a sense of nuance, and who have equated Judaism with Israel as they get swept up in the Cause du Jour.
Again, this isn't a criticism of the activists or their cause. It's a criticism of how they potentially spurred on people who are currently "on the bandwagon" of the cause. It definitely left me reading the room to see if I, as a Jew, was still safe in the room, and my friends watching me to see if we all needed to make a quiet exit.
All this to say: if the performers, etc. were willing to just add a quick, "And btw, most Jews have nothing to do with Israel - yell at your local politicians but stop throwing Molotov cocktails at Jewish community centres" to their crowds during these speeches, it would go a long way to keep Jews safe in the cities they tour in.
Again, AWESOME show, ceasefire now.
Brittany and Ariel were sublime. The venue (Fairmount in Montreal) is fantastic, and the sound engineer is a genius. This is a show for people who appreciate great musicianship, tone and dynamics in both voice and instruments. It's so refreshing to hear great music in such detail.
It was so much fun i think yeule sasami and fitness drummer compliment eachother really well i wish they had a project on the side heheheh yeule is breathtakingly beautiful and the vocals were on point. Very impressed
Awesome. I don’t understand how she hasn’t already blown up. I will be bragging to people about seeing this show today, tomorrow and definitely a year from now.

I bought the tickets almost 4 months in advance, so the anticipation led to a bit of disappointment.

Great energy throughout the set! IMO, they sounded better live than on record so if you have the chance to see them, DO IT! Had the chance to talk with them a bit after as well since they stayed to take pictures with everyone who wanted and they were really nice to talk with!
Ocie Elliott was incredible. The performances were really good with the voices in tune, in sync and heartfelt. Can't wait to see them again.
The venus itself was fine, BUT : the volume of the performances was really too low, both for Old Sea Brigade and Ocie Elliott. This, combined with the fact that people kept talking all the time during the show, was really detracting and made it harder to fully enjoy the show. Both act were soft type songs oriented where the vocals nuances are an important aspect of the show, thus it is sad that the crowd chatter could be heard throughout both performances.
Lights once again gave an amazing show. Her energy and talent on stage is way more than okay okay(iykyk). If you can afford a VIP experience I strongly suggest you do, as she is so generous with fans.
The show was great! Unfortunately, a couple of the singers had gotten sick a couple days before this date but they didn't let it affect their energy and performance.
It's a small but great venue. Makes for intimate shows.
INSANE TO THE CORE! These guys are amazing. If you get the chance to see them live don’t miss out they’re hella good and they go hard as hell.❤️🔥 Met them too at their merch table and they’re super chill, fun guys :)
AMAZING SHOW !! Rain City Drive gave a solid performance, but might be a bit too « pop » for the crowd attending, all ready to moshpit and crowdsurf and all… Anyway Matt’s vocals are on point and it was really nice to meet him ! Then From Ashes to New set the venue on fire with their energetic set ! Really nice guys to meet too. The Theatre Fairmount is a great intimate venue, without a barricade, so it allows a better transfert of energy. Memphis May Fire… wow. Always amazing, always on point, love them to death 😍
It was so amazing !! The band was really nice and we got to take pictures with them afterwards ! It definitely wont be the last time i see them in concert!

One of the best shows I've ever been to in my life. And to think I almost missed it due to the snow. Thanks for the reminder "bandsintown" that feature is great.
