Zayn Malik is an absolute force when he performs. His voice is incredible, effortlessly shifting from soft, intimate moments to powerful, soaring notes that really hit you. What’s amazing is how he makes you feel every single word, like he’s sharing something personal with you. His stage presence is so natural he’s confident without trying too hard, and his energy is contagious. Plus, his versatility across different styles is insane. Whether he's performing something sultry or upbeat, he nails it every time. If you get the chance to see him live, do it!!! he’s one of those artists who will leave you completely in awe.
Wished this was at a different venue. Being a short girl, I could barely see Zayn on stage :(
Otherwise, I had an amazing time. It is my first time seeing one of the boys and it was super exciting to know Louis was also there. Such a special night <3
I had the absolute privilege of seeing Zayn live in NYC, and it was a surreal experience that words can hardly capture. I camped out to be front and center, and it was worth every single second.
From the moment he walked on stage, his presence was magnetic, and his voice?!! There are no words. His live singing is so raw, powerful, and authentic.
Zayn truly has the voice of a generation. He doesn’t need elaborate theatrics; his vocals alone captivate and transport you. It felt so personal, like he was singing directly to each one of us.
my first ever concert and it was the best experience ever.
seeing louis there just made it feel so surreal and i still havent came to terms with the fact that i actually saw zayn live.
i had the best time and loved it so much.
Such an amazing experience! Zayn is and always has been an other worldly vocalist. It was such a treat to witness live! He was very interactive with the crowd and felt like such an intimate space. I’d love to see another performance from him for sure! So proud of him !! I’d also like to mention the openers were amazing, I will definitely be adding them into my playlists. They really set the tone for the concert before he came out. 5 stars. Absolutely amazing. I’d also like to mention the crowd was pretty respectful to each other’s space, which was nice!
VIP was totally worth it. The Q & A plus the sound check were great. He’s just as hilarious in person as he is in interviews/on his show. This was my first time seeing him live & I really enjoyed the entire experience. He’s a consummate performer, he knows just how to tap into the crowd’s energy, keep them engaged & adjust the vibe to his liking. Def plan to see him again when I have the chance, but not at the Shrine ever again; the venue was trash.
Excellent performance by The The at one of the best venues in LA. Another bucket list band checked off! Expectations exceeded! Matt is one of the best performers in the business and a class act! Wish I could relive the night again.
It was great to see a show at the Shrine, I feel like there’s not enough shows there. I was way in the back but was still able to get a good view. The sound system was great and Vince sounded amazing. Great show all and all!
I love the show. Abel Makkonen Tesfaye (Amharic: አቤል መኮንን ተስፋዬ; born February 16, 1990), known professionally as the Weeknd, is a Canadian singer-songwriter.[2][3] He is known for his unconventional musical production, artistic reinventions and use of the falsetto register.
Tesfaye began releasing music anonymously in 2009. After co-founding the record label XO, he released three mixtapes—House of Balloons, Thursday, and Echoes of Silence—in 2011, and gained recognition for his blend of contemporary and alternative R&B, as well as the mystery surrounding his identity. He signed with Republic Records to reissue the mixtapes into the compilation album Trilogy (2012), and release his debut studio album, Kiss Land (2013) the following year. After a string of collaborations and film soundtrack contributions from 2013 and 2014, Tesfaye transitioned from alternative R&B to a pop sound with his second and third studio albums, Beauty Behind the Madness (2015) and Starboy (2016), both of which debuted atop the US Billboard 200. The former yielded his first two Billboard Hot 100 number-one singles, "Can't Feel My Face" and "The Hills", while Starboy spawned two more: its title track (featuring Daft Punk), and after a 2023 remix with Ariana Grande, "Die for You".
He returned to alternative R&B for his debut extended play, My Dear Melancholy (2018), which included the US top-ten single "Call Out My Name". He explored the dream-pop and new wave genres with his fourth studio album, After Hours (2020), which spawned the record-setting single, "Blinding Lights", and two other US number-one singles: "Heartless" and "Save Your Tears". Tesfaye began exploring dance-pop, leading to his fifth album, Dawn FM (2022), which included the US top-ten single, "Take My Breath". In 2023, he co-created and starred in the HBO drama series The Idol, which, despite critical flak, saw commercial success from its accompanying soundtrack.
Great show and performance by Mitski and the band!! Wish there were screens for the nosebleeds as it was impossible to see any detail beyond distant outlines of figures. Vocal audio was perhaps too low at times, drowned out by the instruments. Decent organization of the venue but more and clearer signage would’ve been helpful.
Eric killed it. A crazy ton of energy and he did a wonderful job working the crowd. He alternated between high energy songs with matching dance moves to crooning power ballads. I look forward to catching Eric when he tours again.
The shrine was great. It had good acoustics and the sound mixing for Eric and his opener was great. The shrine staff were friendly and efficient. Parking was easy to find and plentiful near the Shrine.
I really enjoy concerts, I don’t like to overly excited myself. Sofi Tukker’s performance and production was phenomenal. The outdoor shrine venue was fantastic, it was great that they had multiple sets of speakers throughout the venue so you could hear the performance clearly from practically any area. Sometimes the indoor venue can get drowned out.
Ah’mazing!!!! I’ve seen them a dozen times starting in 86’ till present day and It was not only nostalgic but on point 💟 the fact that Rob Halford is 70 years old and can still hit those high notes is unbelievable on a sidenote Queensrÿche killed it the throaty undertones that were woven into the music gave me chills! I brought my daughter with me and it was her first time seeing Judas Priest and she said it was almost a surreal experience hearing the music that she grew up with all her life ,she loved it!!!
Epic show! Been wanting to see this band live for a few years and it was better than expected, they mixed some older favorites of mine including “Your Love Is Calling My Name” witch was a complete surprise!..and the new songs that are amazing and taking them to the next level..This band is a Must See!…unbelievable performance, keep rockin WOD!
Epic. I mean, it was truly more than a dream come true. This album in particular resonated with my life personally but it’s such a beautiful album full of beautiful songs it’s like just a clusterf* of emotions. Plus he played his older songs which were a lot of my favorites. Nothing can go wrong w Madeon.
The venue itself was huge. But it was packed. One of the greatest days of my life. Thinking about it still gives me goosebumps.
I was expecting it to be like his Coachella set to be honest, but this set was amazing regardless. I think what saved this long as set was the atmosphere. Big ass crowd, loud ass music, big ass stage. Definitely worth it in the end.
Although It was hard standing but he gave a good expierience he played classics like tamale, yonkers and she but also promoted his new album well while performing boredom and 911. It was worth every part of it and he is quite the showman an i love it !!!! (also rex orange county technically opened playing most of his songs one of my personal favorites).
From start to finish, the show was awesome. The opening act was fantastic. Once the 2 Cello walked on stage, the show just picks up and start to steam role. I hope they will come back again.i missed them the last year, but I will never again miss out on their concerts!!!
They were amazing performers the only real problem during the show was the crowd. The people behind us were literally talking about beating the shit out of everyone to get to the front. It was a pretty aggressive space but I still kind of enjoyed it
The only reason i give it a 4 is cuz if the security service they were throwing people and hurting others to help one person instead of having a plan to help the person in need while not having to hurt others in the process overall the performance was their best one yet
