Beast of a musician whose best days are still ahead of him. I'm glad to hear him stretching his musical palate to find his own unique sound.

Benny put on an amazing show. He, his band and his special guest saxophonist, Abdias Armenteros, all sounded great. Looking forward to the next time BB3 is back at Chris' Jazz Cafe in Philadelphia, PA.

About Chris' Jazz Cafe
Chris’ Jazz Café is an institution in a city known for producing revered musical artists such as John Coltrane, Dizzy Gillespie, Billie Holiday and Ethel Waters. Founded in 1989, Chris’ Jazz Café is the longest continuously operating jazz club in the history of Philadelphia, attracting visitors from more than 160 countries and all 50 states.
2024 will mark the famous jazz spot’s 35th anniversary. With live performances five nights a week, the venue hosts 400 shows a year – that’s more than 15,000 performances over the past three decades!
In addition to surprisingly affordable tickets and some of the greatest names in jazz to grace our stage, Chris’ is known for its unrivaled cuisine. The kitchen, led by Chef/Owner Mark DeNinno produces a superbly soulful Southern-influenced dinner menu. Everything is made from scratch, from the soups to the New Orleans Style Jambalaya — the top selling dish in the restaurant.
We attribute our longevity to a simple principle: We take care of our guests and ensure that they have a good time. That’s why our customers return again and again.
Chris’ Jazz Café is an homage to art, celebrating the art of music, the culinary arts and the art of hospitality. Our goal every day is for our guests to love the music, savor the cuisine and enjoy one of the best live music experiences in Philadelphia.
