Manowar was astonishing! This was my first time attending a show of them, sound was incredible, bass sounded like an airplane and the guitar clearly amazing with the solos as well! I sang with Eric the vocalist all the songs, his heavy screams are uniques. I hope Manowar play again in the future in New York, hopefully I will be there!
Empire of the Sun harkens a new era of great music and fabulous live performance in support of AskThat God! Sound was excellent. The stage was multi-tiered with a Outstanding full stage back screen. The graphics were so clear and textured one felt Luke Steele might jump into it during AskThat God!
All their great songs were beautifully blended to keep the energy and glorious mood at a fever pitch.
They are great- I hope they extend the tour so fans can
see them, and, of course me again!
The show itself was amazing i cried 4 times and she played so many songs from Dragon New Born Mountain it was amazing but after my friend and i waited outside with 4 others waiting to get things signed for 1 and a half hours. The wait was fine but she never came out she would have had to have seen us everyone was pretty bummed. Out of 3500 people, six came to get stuff signed. I wish she came out or at least just said goodbye :(
First time seeing these guys (I am a latecomer to discovering their extensive awesomeness) - they absolutely nailed all tracks played and as for the light show…wow, if you’re not good with bright strobing effects, be prepared!
The only slight iffy bit was sometimes the guitar work didn’t come through the mix of sound, but hey could be that was due to our seating positions (front of balcony but right of stage)
Best live band IMO, most interesting and captivating music. As a performer I can only hope to operate at the level these guys do. Also one of the most glorious rooms you can see a show at, period. If you’ve never been, do yourself a huge favor and find a show and go there.
Brandon lake was incredible,he definitely tore off the Roof .Played for two hours of praise and worship unlike anything I’ve experienced.I cannot wait to see him again his faith ,talent and love for Jesus Christ shines like a beam god bless him and his family ,band and crew….praise the lord!! Praise the lord!!
reneé was amazing as always and didn’t hesitate to stop in the middle of a performance to help a fan that passed out . the staff of KT weren’t that great when it comes to dealing with an emergency.. beside that i had a great time and reneé is an amazing performer and human overall ..
5 stars because the theater was stunningly beautiful, clean, organized, great snacks and of course Kid Cudi’s “Cudder’s Club House” was such a unique and unforgettable experience. I do have a some critiques, the app could be better. I was not able to just get my ticket QR code without getting sent around in circle asking for an email confirmation only for me to confirm and it say that It’s still wasn’t on the app. I had to email costumer service to get my QR codes also this might be more of a decision of the team of who’s performing but I do wish there would have been a large screen on stage to see the artist better. I wasn’t that far back and it was still hard to see well.
Thank you!
This was such a special treat for me I got a ticket last minute. She ushered in the spirit of God in that place for sure. She sounded so nice!!! If I wasn’t already saved and living for Christ I would have been after that concert. You can just feel the spirit of God upon her Love you CeCe
Absolutely a religious experience. The band is incredible live. They play throughout the entire concert even in between established songs. It's an absolute mind warp. Cedric, Omar and the rest of the band were beyond tight and in synch, they were floating on magic carpets while emitting other worldly waves of sonic energy.
Excellent show. Rodrigo was amazing on his electric set. The duo played moist of their new album which was great . We had the meet and greet package and Rodrigo and Gabriela were very humble and gracious. One of the best shows I’ve seen in a while.
Thanks Rodrigo and Gabriela for a great show and for your friendly and warm greeting afterwards.
I would definitely recommend seeing them!
Jill was absolutely mesmerizing and her voice had my husband spellbound ✨️😅.
I saw her in concert over 10 years ago and her voice has not changed. She is one of few artists that can sing live and sound just like their studio albums or better. I wished she would elongate the songs like she used too. She would take a 3 minute sing and make a 7 min rendition 😍
Gregory Porter and Jasmina Horne put on a fabulous show.
Jasmina Horn open for Gregory and she gave so much of herself that I have no problem paying to see on her own.
Gregory Porter when he came on as always was an extremely gracious showman. His voice was fabulous. He gave room to the musicians with him to have their spotlight while completely engaging with the audience throughout his performance..
A greatest hits night! What a collection of great music, big hooky riffs and soaring melodies - couldn’t be happier!!!! They looked like they were genuinely having fun up on stage! Glad to have seen this super talented band twice over their years coming to the US - feeling grateful for them making the trip over again, really hope it won’t be the last time!!!! Suede was an extra special treat too - very happy to have seen them together!
the venue is always great. The King theatre is spacious with plenty of room to get your bearings before the show . Wardrunna always puts on a great show. The set list lulls you into a trance of sound and visuals that when the show is over you feel you are are waking up from a massage or some other hyper sense distorting experience
Dodie is amazing live! Her shows are full of life and she's ethereal moving around the stage. Her touring band is also beyond talented. There were multiple points in the show where I was moved to tears, and overall it was an amazing, beautiful experience.
Excellent venue, nice selection of artists. Gregory Porter capped off a very nice evening with an excellent selection of his memorable hits so far. Going deep to explain the origin of the songwriting was a nice way to start the weekend off. The musicianship was off the charts but wouldn’t expect any less from such artist. The entire crowd was very familiar with the artist and it showed. Last saw this artist before Covid, so it was nice join a crowd who fully enjoyed an artist in their very best light.
Such a lovely tribute to the band's talent and a wonderful homage to a great friend. Ad-rock and Mike D were funny and poignant...just great story tellers! I got to relive all those moments from my own youth where the Beastie Boys provided the soundtrack. I love these guys so much.
Toni Braxton was phenomenal. Open her
show with He wasn't man enough and she killed it!. She bring the songs she sang back in the days and the crowd was pleased. Her guests Swv still got the moves and the vocals. They didn't lip sync! Killed it with Anything and Weak. Sisters with voices is one of my favorite girl groups.
Tyreese was so disappointing. He did cover songs of classic soul which wasted his time for his own material. He did not perform any songs from his Black Rose album.
Tamia stole the show as she turned out all her songs. She even did cover songs of her soul inspiration artists. I like when her hubby Grant Hill comes out after the show and they walk off together. However she only uses
2 back up singers a drummer and keyboards. There is not a full band.
