The Backyard Bar Stage and Grill

Great show! Awesome musicians and stage presence. We love The Backyard venue, well managed, friendly staff, clean place. PRT put on a great show with his own songs and did a cool mix of a few covers letting other band members sing. Well produced show and definitely recommend going to see them live.

Paul Cuthen is a must see once so you can understand why you will want to see him again and again. He is a true Texas music legend and continues to elevate his music with every album.

He was all Stoney all the time His live concerts way different than the recorded stuff you can listen to. The only thing that comes close it is double live album Live 25. Psychedelic ethereal music and jamming

There are many adjectives to use in writing reviews; but in the case of The Wilder Blue, the one that comes to mind is 'fantastic' !! Having seen this band on numerous occasions & in various settings and venues, they never fail to present anything but their absolute best ! Their performances are electrifying and filled with more than enough of their great music and crowd participation. Each band member gives their all and the crowds love it. Never a dull moments at their shows, ever. Take the time to attend a Wilder Blue performance and prepare for a excellent concert !!

The Wilder Blue puts on one heck of a show. Featuring every highly talented and crowd engaging musicians. Always fun with such beautiful harmony. Better in person vs recorded music. Can’t wait for next time. As for the venue, not a fan. Poor service, food and disrespect for customers.

Caught Lawson Knight opening for Pat Green in Waco and was seriously impressed. His original songs are strong, relatable, and well-written, and his voice sounds even better live. He has a natural stage presence and really connected with the crowd. Definitely gained a new fan tonight.

very fun I'm glad I arrived late because ty didn't come out till about 9:30 10 and I would've been exhausted trying to wait. It wasn't too packed and everyone was very nice and if I wanted to scoot up to the front I definitely could have. he sounded amazing almost exact to what he puts out.

BEST BAND EVER! These dudes brought every genre possible to the table. At the backyard last night there was a little bit of everything for everyone. The Huser Brothers SMASHED IT!!! “Left You Lonely” was a personal favorite and it was performed beautifully <3. #254homies

Having been a fan since 91' and never seen them, my expectations were high. Diamond Rio did not disappoint. I just a band live by the connection I feel. Though I know my experience was not unique, I did feel like the show was being played just for me. I'm sure many others there felt the same way. I drove from Dallas to see Diamond Rio, and am decideding when my next road trip to see them will be. G.

This was my first visit to this venue, but it won't be my last. The atmosphere is perfect. The last couple of shows I have been to at other places were so loud you couldn't understand the words. That was not the case here. The volume was perfect! I have been listening to the Logan Ryan Band for a few months and was very excited to see them live. They did not disappoint! I drove 2.5 hours each way for this show and it was worth it!

My first rock concert and it was amazing‼️I went with my girl and we had so much fun, got to meet sawyer hill and finish the night with Dexter and the moon rocks. The backyard setting was also really good and there were times I forgot we were even outside. Much love to everyone who brought this together, will definitely be back

Literally such a fun show! I’ll be talking about this night for the rest of my life! Got to meet Sawyer Hill and James (lead singer of Dexter and the Moonrocks) and both of them were absolutely amazing. Such humble people with big hearts for their fans and gems to come across in this career. I cannot wait to see where they go, and hope that they get to live their dreams. 2000/10! 💕

JoDee performed with all her heart and soul. Her words to the audience and her songs/lyrics are both motivational and inspirational. She is sincere and down to earth, and she has a strong faith. The audience sang along with her. She was fabulous!

The show was OUTSTANDING! The venue is cool and quaint enough where there’s not a bad seat. Acoustics are great for an outside venue. Drake White is a great song writer, story teller and has an amazing voice. I’m honestly shocked that he’s not as big in the country world as a Chris Stapleton or Garth Brooks. We will be going to see him again! We will also be back to the Backyard again!!

Autumn Ragland was awesome to start the show and then Ray Wylie really brought the place down! One minor drawback was the limited dinner options once the shows started, but it was a great time regardless.

Despite the cold weather, it was an amazing show! The Wilder Blue never disappoint!! They have beautiful harmonies! I was concerned for their voices in the weather, but they pulled it off without complaining! A special treat was hearing them sing The National Anthem! They also played some new material. I really can't get enough of this band!

This band has hit after hit on the radio and is a fairly big name band, so we were shocked to see them playing at such a small venue. We drove to Waco from Austin to see this band and it was worth every minute of the drive. The venue is spectacular- outside, but shaded with huge fans to move the air so there’s always a breeze. We arrived in time to hear a couple songs from the second band and walked up to the fourth row in front of the stage. I think there might have been 500 people there (maybe not quite that much). What an outstanding way to see such a great band.

Excellent show! Pop evil totally killed it. It was so cool to see such a great band in a small venue. The backyard feels exactly like that. It was like we were at a neighborhood bbq rocking out to pop evil. Seriously one of my more favorite concerts.

This was one of the best shows I’ve been to in years. E. J. and band were relaxed and seemed to be enjoying themselves as much as the crowd. The music was fantastic and the outside venue was laid back. All of Johnson’s music is phenomenal wherever he plays but I hope he will return to the Backyard Bar again soon. P. S. Would have rated 5 stars if allowed. 5 solid star show!

Unbelievable concert. Roger is more than an artist. He truly entertains from the moment he walks on stage until he plays the last note. His songwriting shows his ability to connect with the audience as they hang on every word. Stage presence is not a guitar and a microphone—Roger Creager is an experience like none other with performers of today.
