Absolutely wholesome, intimate concert. This man with his voice, his guitar and sense of humour is really more of a spectacle than a lot of concerts with full bands. His voice is out of this world. His depth is contagious and everyone in that theatre was present. Thank you for another amazing experience.
Can't get enough of The Butterfly Effect. I love them and they never fail to deliver a fantastic show. I just wish I could have stayed around after the show for merch signing. I won't make that mistake again.
We enjoyed the Astor. Darryl was good, he still has a strong voice. But to perform for only an hour and 10 minutes was an insult to all of the people who paid top dollar to see a full length show. And the abrupt way he ended was very disappointing and left the audience waiting for him to return to finish his set. Not good Darryl 😐
The Australian INXS Show is the best out there… played their 2 hour theatre show as the U2 half couldn’t play due to illness… big props to Del & the lads for another stellar performance ♥️✨💥
There is no arguing that Ben is an incredibly talented individual and he puts on a great show, but I was super disappointed that not a single one of the songs I was hoping he’d play, were played. There was only one song that some of the crowd sang along to, but he played none of his super popular songs. I get that it’s his gig and he can play whatever he liked, but if I’d know the set list beforehand, I would have skipped this one 😔
This would have been an AMAZING show, but the sound was a bit shite.
Clint has the most amazingly powerful voice, but we could hardly hear him the whole time. Not sure if it was a venue thing or a tech thing, but it was a bit disappointed tbh. The Butters Boys normally SLAP!
What an awesome talent this young man is… I’m 58 years young and it was great to feel like 18 again! I’ve had a couple of hard years and this evening made my day.
Back at the Elford was so lovely to get the vibe of today’s youth whilst Declan DJ Darles Chickens did his thing!
I was a big Bowie fan in my younger days so of course loved Be an Astronaut! Very Bowie vibe !
Can’t wait for the new album and love to catch another show in Uk as going in May and believe tours Uk ❣️
Very good as always so professional, the ppl dancing, is a bit irritating as we could not see, stay in your seats, do not be rude for other people, get them upstairs, but great
So many laughs, beautiful songs from Anthony, great entertainment from Tim Campbell doing the unexpected. Dual entertainment from both was fantastic. Involving the backing singers was fabulous. Need to more shows together, with different contexts.
Been fortunate enough to see Jon Stevens several times over the years and again he didn't fail to entertain. He is a true gentleman of the industry and it was wonderful to share a special moment after the concert and get my shirt signed. Can't wait for your next show in Perth.
Incredible performer! A genuine nice guy who really enjoys performing and interacting with the audience.
All songs were delivered in his own style and the sound quality was amazing.
Will always be following him and will always be awaiting new songs from him.
Can’t recommend his shows enough.
Amazing, amazing night, so glad finally got to ‘meet him and see him perform in person at ‘Astor Theatre, Tuesday 22nd August 2024., with Toni & John….
The whole ‘Band’ were great, well worth ‘VIP Tickets’.
Amazing night, wish could have been there all night…..reality sets in though…..
Thank you Richard for an amazing night. All the favourite songs and such a beautiful tribute to John Farnham. We are very happy to have you as an Aussie!
Can’t wait till you visit again ❤️
Well, 2022 is now officially the year of James Reyne. After seeing James and the band for the third time in 3 months after seeing all the way back in 1986 for the Final Wave concert he is Oz rock royalty. Humble, charismatic, energetic and brilliant are just some of the superlatives for this man; will never tire of seeing him live. The Astor concert was brilliant; thanks James!
There is no doubt they are amazing musicians and I loved their performances so much but they played only a couple of their popular songs. They didn’t play Paul or Real love or Simulation Spawn or much of their album masterpiece which is my favourite album. This was a bit disappointing and I don’t really know why - maybe I’m not smart enough or a big enough fan. Still a great gig tho.
How he works the crowd and performs on stage is akin to Freddie Mercury. He was fucking fantastic, inspiring, and so sweet and fun. Best concert I have ever been to. Was so hyped afterwards
The show was amazing. Opening act, Jack Gray was really nice to listen to and had a super friendly vibe. Tate was incredible, the atmosphere was great and it was overall a wonderful experience. Would definitely go again!!!
This is the third time I have seen Boy and Bear and they never fail to impress. Dave's vocals are out of this world amazing. The band are so humble and have a great vibe.
It was better than I expected it to be. Very good performances and honestly well worth it.
And honestly just a very beautiful moment getting to exalt the name of Jesus through songs !
