Overall the show was fine. At 77 years old, BC's voice is not what it was 55 years ago, and that's to be expected. But the back-up singing was muddled and at times way too soft allowing the instrumentation to drowned it out. Speaking of instruments, the rhythm guitar player had on-going issues with his foot pedals and could not be heard a few times. Also, the floor toms of the drum kit could not be heard on those classic drum rolls that are the signature of many Guess Who songs. BC's banter with the crowd was fun and he did tell a good joke.
He's still a consummate entertainer. He's humble and grateful for the support he gets. Can he hit and hold every note like he used to? No, and quite frankly, who cares. His backup band is fantastic. They play all of the songs that you came to hear. Well worth the price.
The event was very.enjoyable. comfortable venue. Good sound- not too loud, nice to hear commentary from Burton. His vocals have suffered over time, but expected. Didn't take away from the enjoyment of the evening.
What a great show. Played for 3 hours ......played all the hits and all the deep cuts you would want to hear. Small venue perfect for his music ..top shelf
It was fabulous!! Melissa Etheridge concerts are THE BEST around! First Timers always leave amazed & want to come back too!!
I've lost count of how many times I've seen Cheap Trick in concert. My first CT show was in 1984. I thought the show was absolutely phenomenal! While the band has certainly gotten much older, their concerts are still some of the best I've ever seen.
I love Cheap Trick and I love the Wild Horse Pass concert venue!
Even if they’re current age, they are still exceptional! If you have a chance to see this show, I strongly recommend that you do.
Venue was great. Not a bad seat in the place. Really enjoyed the show. STILL laughing. Enjoyed Matt Taylor too,
Super FANtastic! The guy is just Real.... he sets the stage by asking you what your expectation is for the evening, and he just delivers there's nothing fake about the show he is who he is and everybody is into it on stage and off stage! Literally the 2,000 person Arena was probably up on their feet 95% of the 90-minute show, KC you still rock it
As usual, seeing Rick Springfield perform is awesome. He is always funny and energetic. Adding Richard Marx to the mix was truly a stroke of genius. He is also funny and charming. Their banter, and the way they listened to the audience, involved us and treated us like trusted friends was truly heartwarming and a treat to witness.
Dwight Yoakam did not disappoint. Awesome show, Dwight is just as good as ever! His band is amazing also. Two hour concert of the his country hits!! Full of energy and I was also amazed Dwight named almost every town in Arizona! Love the Bakersfield sound!
With this show I was able to cross (2) bands off my "Bucket List" ..... Grand Funk Railroad and Jefferson Starship. BOTH bands sounded great and had lots of energy. They kept the crowd engaged during their performances.
Fairly standard set list, was hoping for some cool inside tracks being just after the Southern Death Cult show a few days prior. We got Resurrection Joe in the encore set. They added Aphrodisiac Jacket but dropped Love. Ian did say this was the last time they would play most songs from Under The Midnight Sun, and next year, they have 'something special' planned. Perhaps Dreamtime, anniversary tour. Good to see them again, I think this makes show 8 for me. If I don't get out to see them again as we all get a but older, a fitting end, but I hope not.
Wow - an intimate setting in a small theatre , experiencing THE CULT doing an amazing set , fully energized & in great form ⚡🌙 ✨
I was sad that Luda and Lil Jon didn't get on the stage together for Yeah and Lovers and Friends. Still amazing though!
I love Spencer and his songs are amazing Stoked to finally have gotten to see him. Only would have made better would be to meet him.
Love it!! Locash was amazing, we have seen them several times and enjoy each show! They are so interactive with the crowd and make it so fun!! We will definitely see them again next time they are in our area!
Diamond Rio was amazing, they sounded really good, even after all these years! The venue itself was decent, cleanish and lots of places to sit. The sound wasn't good which was a bummer for the cost of the tickets, but overall it was a good experience.
Band was in great voice , with high energy. Great musicianship and they played both classic hits and songs from the latest album. Overall, an excellent show from a band that’s been around for half a century.
Brett was amazing as usual!!! Little short FAT guy behind me kept complaining that everyone was taking pictures and videos...maybe he should have stayed HOME!!!! No one cared what he thought! WE ALL enjoyed Brett and taking pictures and videos. ; )
