I don’t think I’ve ever been so excited to see a concert where for the last three months he’s been on repeat in my car exclusively…then go and see him live and listen all over again! I had happy tears! 🥹
Both bands were incredible!! Unfortunately, I was in a blindspot and didn't get to see much of either the opening band or the main event. Ghost was on point as usual though. Highly recommended. 🖤
Amazing show. Venue was good as well, but I hope the next time they come to Nashville they play in a larger venue like Bridgestone.
Only complaint about Ascend Ampitheater (aside from the smaller capacity) is that the lawn could be a bit steeper which might allow shorter people to see more easily? had a friend with me who couldn't see much over everyone standing in front of us.
It was so amazing honestly, the fireworks made such a nice touch to the whole thing and the lead singer was really interactive with the crowd. Ghost is my favorite band of all time so it was fucking amazing and very worth it!
Masterclass musicianship. This was my first QOTSA concert, and it may very well be my absolute favorite. Seamless transitions, stunning lighting, and very little filler. I was able to attend with one of my best friends, and our reaction after every song was the same: Speechless. These guys know how to put on a show and I will be be seeing them again as soon as possible
For my first concert ever I enjoyed it a lot! Dom was amazing and I loved everyone’s energy! I’d love to see him again and can’t wait too🖤games we play was awesome and so we’re the regrettes 🫶
Drove to Nashville for the show. Dom & the boys did not disappoint!! Games We Play brought great energy to get things started. Go early to see them! Next up: St. Louis (yes we'll be there too 🖤🖤)
The concert was absolutely amazing. I was a bit concerned because I did not know a lot about the artists until my daughter helped me. How the artists interacted with the crowd was awesome. They definitely make you feel like family. I am indeed a new fan. I also want to thank yungblud for his after show crowd meet. It made my daughters night. The concert and picture with you have made her birthday this year the icing on the cake.
Seats were excellent and the shoe lasted over 120- minutes for Goo Goo Dolls. The entire place was packed full of fans and well organized to get in and to get out of the amphitheater.
Sound was a little off but they brought the vocals for sure. John R was outstanding. They played all the hits and some new stuff that was fantastic. Love the songs Hey, I like you and War. Cannot wait to see them again.
Always a great time seeing Blue October. Here’s hoping they made a few thousand new Nashville fans. 9/11 songs were ones I love to hear. The other 2 are just so so. Sound was great last night. Justin was on top of his game. Can’t wait until November to see them again.
Scheduled as a 2hr 2 set show., David Gray’s hand was played with a day of Rain, Thunder & Lightning strikes.
The result was a pared down 1:20 minute show
once the rain receded.
The band played with an inthusiasm like it was thief 1st show date, the music quality was definately over the top, and the setlist contained a surprise i didn’t see coming/- 2 David Bowie songs with awesome rendering.
My take is I’m glad i went and would recommend seeing them giving a 9 out of 10.
9 only due to weather…
I drove 7 hours to see chase matthew in concert . I love him and his music and his band is awesome and I will continue to go to his shows and recommend anyone to go see him . he is amazing and such an inspiration .
JD and the crew were positively on point for this show! Great energy and awesome songs. Drove from Indianapolis to catch the show and it was totally worth it. If you’re into cool rock and roll with a rockabilly twist, do not miss this band if they come close (or not so close) to your town!
I never got to go the 3 times they have came bc my dad wouldn’t take me. i really hope they come the next tour. I really wanna meet them. btw i’m 11 so it would be a memory of a lifetime for them to come and i meet them. i bet the concert would be lit so i give it 5 stars. i know the amphitheater is good tho because my billie eilish concert was a month before his concert and it was awesome!!!
The show was amazing, just wish it was indoors instead of outdoors. The heat was so bad that it was rough to get into the show, but the band did try to get the fans up and going. I would most definitely see them again.
it was amazing i absolutely loved it jonah was a little quiet idk if it was the mic or him but it was still amazing i got a shirt and poster that i’m going to wear 24/7 😂i also saw Zack the boys manager and Eben’s photographer i didn’t get any pictures with them because they were busy tho except for Eben’s photographer he was going to eat i really wish i would have asked for a picture instead of just staring at him in aww
Sadly storms ruined most of the fun since we all had to cram in a parking garage. Billie is a great performer, but the negatives on the venue’s behalf ruined a lot of the fun, especially since to get back in we waited from 8:45pm to around 10:05pm in the pouring rain to get back in. The first time around with the same place in line it took 15-20 mins max. I was also bummed that I was unable to see Denzel curry due to storms and needing to be finished by 11:00 due to a noise ordinance, this did not impact my rating, but the venue giving vague updates and not giving a concrete answer in a timely manner did impact my rating.
[TLDR: I would recommend anyone who gets the chance to see Billie to go and enjoy it, just not at Ascend Amphitheater].
best concert i have ever been to, regardless of the evacuation. upset that denzel couldn’t play but billie, her family, and her team (crew, security guards [shout out to MJ!]) were so nice and made the show extra good for us.
honestly though, venue staff were very rude. but hey, take what you can get. this was the best day/night of my life!
Spectacular! VIP tickets were a complete splurge & well worth it, but I’ve also been at the top of Gillette Stadium for this band and had a great time! They sound perfect from any seat in the house. High energy show you can take your whole family to!
