Majestic Theatre

It was a great concert but the least favorite of the four times we’ve seen Brian. It seemed like he was getting over a cold or an illness. He just didn’t have his usual spunk and his voice wasn’t great. Whatever it is, we hope he recovers quickly so he can get back to his usual fantastic, energy filled performances.

She was amazing as always! She was who we really went to see so we were a little sad she only played for 50 minutes, but we enjoyed all 50 of them! Her outfits are killer, her voice is unmatched, and it’s exciting to watch her switch up her guitars. Love seeing her perform!

The show was amazing! Jerry Douglas opened for him, along with bass player Daniel Kimbrough. They played many great songs, including a couple of new ones from Daniel's upcoming album. Jerry has headlined many tours. To have him as a warmup act is a testimony to the greatness of Tommy Emmanuel. His style and technique are flawless. He's also really fun. He sang acapella an old Jerry Reed song. He played a version of "House of the Rising Sun" that brought tears to my eyes. He had some of the most amazing runs up and down the neck of his guitar. He used it as a percussion instrument in a couple of songs. Tommy played over an hour without stopping. Jerry and Daniel came out for a few more at the end of the show. We almost coaxed him out for an encore but he just waved at us. No problem. I'll take Tommy any way that I can. The audience was full of guitar players who swooned at his many incredible runs. I was exhausted from all the cheering and applauding.

The Mavericks were absolutely phenomenal, just like always. Raul's solo tribute to Jimmy Buffett was a real surprise and as a parrothead very moving. We were disappointed in the crowd. People were CONSTANTLY walking up and down the aisles, assumed trips to the bar, and was very annoying. We saw several people who had obviously been overserved. We were also disappointed to see Joshua Ray Walker was not at this event, since Bandsintown had been promoting this for months.

Ann Wilson played the beautiful, historical and acoustical Majestic Theater in Dallas Texas. She was lovely and her voice was stellar, strong with much passion. The band played some good old school rock and roll. Played some music from the new album, some cover tunes and of the Heart days. Get ready to rock out!

Really enjoy the music, the style, and the talent. Only two negatives - The excessive volume seems to create an overbearing noise that overwelms the really excellant music, especially the bass. The only other thing is the lights beamed directly at the audience. We'd really llike to see the musicians rather than a blinding light. BUT----- I'd do it again! Best show I'v seen in quite a while.

This concert was the best one yet from blue October! They truly shined at this venue, which we love! They sang most of the songs we expected and every second was amazing! Only complaint is we want to hear the song king lol. But I'm sure they have so many songs to choose from and it's really hard to decide what to play! Anyway 10 stars out of 5!!!

Tye Tribbett was on FIRE!!!! He definitely gave us an AMAZING CONCERT! The atmosphere was on point and the presence of God was felt in every moment! The concert was longer than I expected, but it was worth every penny. It was great to see 1kPhew do his thing too!

Great show in a beautiful venue. Ally Venable, Eric Gales and, of course, Buddy Guy brought their A-game to Dallas. From the opening note through the evening's ending jam session the energy was high and the artistry on full display. The opening acts were a great display of the up and coming Blues talent in advance of tone of the greatest Blues artists on the road today.

I had the pleasure of attending the Buddy Guy concert at the Majestic Theatre in Dallas, Texas and it was an unforgettable experience! The historic venue was the perfect setting for this legendary blues guitarist and singer, and the energy in the room was palpable from the moment he stepped onto the stage. Buddy Guy's performance was absolutely phenomenal. He played with an incredible passion and intensity, showcasing his unparalleled skill on the guitar and his powerful vocals. Every song was infused with raw emotion and the audience was completely captivated by his talent. Overall, the Buddy Guy concert at the Majestic Theatre was a truly awe-inspiring experience. His talent, passion, and showmanship made for an unforgettable evening of music that I will always cherish. If you have the chance to see Buddy Guy perform live, do not hesitate – it is an experience you will never forget!

Of the 200+ live musical performances I've had the opportunity to attend during my lifetime, I don't recall one I've enjoyed more thoroughly than Colin Hay's performance at the Majestic this past Sunday evening. I'm sure there are a number of factors that played into this; from the fact of having purchased the tickets over 2 years prior as a 23rd anniversary celebration so it was in fact past our 25th wedding anniversary, to this being only the 2nd "big event" we've attended since the pandemic began to subside to many other factors. But the biggest reason this was so enjoyable was undoubtedly the man himself - Colin Hay's extraordinary musicianship impresses from the first note to the last. His voice remains strong and clear and his energy and vitality on stage is impactful. He was funny and personable and relatable. His wisdom in communicating through song, though always immaculate, has grown through the years and it was as if he was sitting with each of us speaking to an old friend yet there was a great vibe of this incredibly fantastic music all along. It was quite a ride, from funny to touching to incredibly entertained! When Colin Hay is coming to a venue near you, BUY A TICKET AND BRING A FRIEND!!

Well it was a long time coming as I booked my tickets before COVID, so welcome to Dallas Colin. Really enjoyed his patter and songs, not to mention his excellent guitar work. A nice mixture of the old and the new (both the songs and the stories, lol), but a couple of hours well spent with a real troubadour. The Majestic is a perfect venue for this type of concert.

I have seen Rodney probably 10 times and he never disappoints! I brought my wife who has never seen him and my two older boys who have never been to a comedy show but know all about Rodney Carrington‘s work and they had a blast! I will always find time to see him when he’s in town.

It could not have been any better unless, she played for a few more hours!!! Beth served up everything and we drank it in!!! King Solomon Hicks opened the show for us and he gave us a taste of the future of "Blues" and it's lookin' real GOOD!!! My head is still hearing all the music!!! Long Live "LIVE MUSIC!!"

Seemed disjointed. Maybe the schedule was overwhelming but we saw Rundgren with Ringo’s all Starr band a few years ago and he was much better then. Was forgetting lyrics apparently? Christopher Cross was kind of “just there” and he really doesn’t do The Beatles justice - wrong personality, not engaged. Rest of the guys did a respectable job of holding it together and they had some exemplary moments as solos and as a group. Not really ethical to bill this as a Todd Rundgren show as he contributed less than anyone else did. OK, but my expectations were much higher. To me, there seemed to be a hierarchy issue and it made the performances uncomfortable.

This show was amazing! Phenomenal! I fully did not expect them to do some of the things they did, and I was ok with that. But there they were, just slaying it. I had a few slightly tearful moments. It's evident that there isn't a WOTE fan or band member or loved one who doesn't feel Beard Guy's absence. They honored him in the most special ways, and a couple times I swear I felt him in the room. And the room was so intimate! I mean where my little boy and I actually were making eye contact with them all at different times, and pointing/waving at us individually. Old standard stuff and new stuff both, they just did remarkable. My 11 year old was singing and dancing (maybe it was head banging but whatever), just about the entire time. I was more the shrieker-jumper-singer-fangirl. We still have smiles on our faces. Just a feel good show!! Love you guys, and can't wait until next time!!💖

Great show!! First half was Frank solo and unplugged, telling about the backgrounds of the songs on the No Mans Land album as an intro to each song. Then the Sleeping Souls joined him unplugged as they did their older songs with a twist. They had been redone, so while the songs were the same, they were new. It really showed their versatility and was just an awesome show.

Simply an incredible show showcasing a nice variety of ‘deep cuts’ in addition to the entire Point if Know Return album. The band sounds every bit as tight as they do on their records, Ronnie is 100% up to the vocal challenge of Kansas’s music (which cannot be easy to sing) and the guys just seem to be really enjoying themselves yet still very passionate about the music. Simply a super entertaining show and an absolute must for any true Kansas fan.

Absolutely fantastic show! Have been wanting to see Amos Lee live for a while. Nothing short of amazing...his vocals are pure perfection. The band was insanely good, great musicians. I love shows in a setting where it’s all about the music, and this was it! Definitely recommend seeing this guy when he returns, I know I will.

Amos Lee was incredible, his vocals hinged between silky smooth and soulful rasp, characteristics we know and love. The bands country, jazz, gospel, folk vibe kept the crowd lit, especially when they played three more songs after the show was over. Next time he's in town check them out, they will not disappoint.
