It was Randy Rainbow - what's not to love! The show was a great mix of clips from many of his wonderful song parodies and vamping. Thank god for Randy Rainbow - he is a glimmer of hope in an otherwise dismal time for America.
First time seeing Satch, and Steve Vai. It was an Excellent Show probably one of the best concerts we have been too!!!
Wanda was hilarious but the venue completely screwed up. Waited in line for 1.5 hrs
Lara, the Richmond Symphony, the conductors and the choral group orchestrated an incredibly memorable evening - never to be forgotten. Lara and her talent always exceed what are always very high expectations.
Great Concert Great show! Zach never disappoints. The spirit was moving, the people were participating in the Worship. This was my 10th Zach Williams Concert but, I found out last night Richmond has a lot of Zach Williams fans.
He was amazing, such a blessing to be able to see. They even moved us up closer to him. I would love to see him again!
Better than last years show at the same venue! They had way more energy and played more Songs!
Leanne was fantastic! I had a headache from laughing so hard. She knows what all us women “of a certain age” are thinking and going through. I hope she comes this way again in the future, I will be there for sure!!
Great play set! All of the newer members of the band fit in well with original members, who are always play their best. Nice show!!
Awesome show at the Carpenter theater. Rob Ickes and Trey Hensley were a great opening duo. Little Feat put on a great show. The acoustics were great also.
The Carpenter Theatre in Richmond is a beautiful old theatre. The performance was platinum, the audience lovely, and the staff simply friendly and superior—it was a mutual appreciation fest from start to finish. A brilliant setting for Justin Hayward’s return to Virginia. He was clearly pleased to be back, quite effusive in saying so, and those in their seats elbow-to-elbow reciprocated that pleasure. Justin clearly enjoys his solo forays with Mike Dawes, Julie Ragins, and Karmen Gould. Each brings a unique element to updated arrangements on tunes from his very singular and timeless catalogue, all of which continue to evolve with each revisit over more than 50 years.
The 15-tune setlist included: The Eastern Sun, Driftwood, Tuesday Afternoon, The Actor, Hope and Pray, The Western Sky, The Voice, Living for Love, Forever Autumn, Never Comes the Day, Your Wildest Dreams, Question, Nights in White Satin, The Story in Your Eyes, and I Know You’re Out There Somewhere.
Mike Dawes opened with 5 tunes of his own, but would shuffle his setlist regularly. Don’t recall the specific 5 this particular evening but they were gleaned from these covers: Jump, Somebody That I Used to Know, Purple Rain, Me & You Together, Be My Mistake, All Along the Watchtower, plus 2 of Mike’s own early compositions… Boogie Shred and Somewhere Home.
Justin and his small but very talented and engaged touring trio were as loath to leave the stage as their audience was to have the evening draw to a close. Spirits were high. An altogether ace performance, another memorable night.
Mike was fantastic. He had a really short opening show and then played with Justin and others as part of the headline act. Super energetic and willing to chat & autograph items for sale. He's a must see if you're even a passing fan of the music.
It's a great location, but the seats are low and the location is pretty old, so the seats aren't really made for folks 6' and up. You'll survive, but it's not super comfortable. It's a wonderful location though. Great sound and a beautiful space. Finding drinks & restrooms isn't a problem and there is plenty of room for folks to move around during any intermissions.
Incredible show and heartfelt worship experienced by all! Terrian and TobyMac are so good at what they do!
Excellent concert! Terrian, TobyMac with Diverse City provided an amazing evening of praise and worship! I will definitely attend another TobyMac Theatre tour.
TobyMac always puts on a GREAT show. Usually see in a large venue, it was nice to watch his show in a smaller theater. Wonderful show and cant wait until the next time he and his band comes back around..
Was the best concert I have seen in my 61 years. Took my 14 year old grandson. His first concert and he loved it! Even though he didn't perform 21 years. Love the message in all his music. Going to see him again in February in Fairfax Va..Terriann was awesome as was Diverse City band. Tobymac is a blessing and an inspiration to all
Wow, best show I have been too!!! Amazing show!!! Definitely want to see Toby Mac again!!!
The show/party was great. Home Free guys are all so talented and I love their music. I always enjoy the beauty of the Dominion Arts Center. All of the staff were so nice and moved the lines through quickly and helpful with seating. A happy and fun time for all, especially my 9 year old great- grandson. This was his first concert with his favorite group at a beautiful theater. Thank you1 Please have Home Free back more often.
The first song Home Free sang was "Remember This". "'Memories are made up of moments like this. The choices we make and the chances we miss. One day the memories are all that there is. So how do you wanna remember this?" Attached is a photo of my grandson at his first concert with his favorite entertainers having a fun time. This is a wonderful memory.
AMAZING performance by Slash! Also, Myles Kennedy and Todd Kearns have such amazing voices. Their harmonies were awesome. Wouldn't expect anything less!
