Outstanding. Great mix of Police classics and his solo stuff. Sound production was superb and Sting still sounds great.
Breathtaking combination of visuals and beautiful, mellow music. You can't go wrong with Air. They played Moon Safari in its entirety, followed by a good selection of extras from the rest of their discography. If they ever return to the States, I strongly recommend getting tickets. It will be worth it.
Something about Sigur Ros envelopes you in sound. Wraps you in the right kind of embrace regardless of which song being played. What an incredible way to see these talented souls. I am forever grateful for this experience.
Excellent performance by A.J. Croce and his band, enhanced but venue, Auditorium Theatre, Chicago. Loved hearing A.J. Singing his dad’s hits.
AJ did a terrific job bringing his own music and fusing it with Jim’s legacy. The backstory to what shaped his music with the foundation of his Father was powerful. Very engaged with the entire audience in a historical venue that made you laugh, shed a tear for what could have been and walk away feeling that the music lives on for all ages. A wonderful evening watching an outstanding talent of a band creating a memorable night for my son, grandson and myself. Croce On!!!!!
The Auditorium is a great place to see a show. Adam and his band were very entertaining. The absence of a horn section was a detriment to the "Friend or Foe" era songs, but there was no skimping on percussion as two excellent drummers worked together to drive all songs forward along with occasional tom tom playing by the guitarists. The high kicks are in retirement, but Adam still has some great moves. Highly recommended.
With any artist, there are shows, and there are fan shows! This was a definite fan show! From the moment he walked out on the stage, the excitement never left the room. One of the highlights for me was him talking about how the song Days to Remember came to be. After an early 60th birthday dinner, one of his sons asked him what he wanted for his birthday. His response? "I want us to get together and write a song together." And so they did. From Believe in Me to Fly Me to the Moon and Right Here Waiting, every song was a definite fan favorite. I would give it more than 5 stars. Thanks for the memory, Richard. It was just incredible!
It was absolutely phenomenal!! My first time seeing Richard Marx. He is a very talented and amazing musician with his wonderful band. Can't wait to see him again!
The Dave Koz Christmas show was one of the best concerts I have been to ever. So entertaining, such great musicianship and it took us to unexpected places spiritually. Jonathan Butler was amazing as was young Justin Lee. Dave Koz, we love you. Don’t ever stop putting these shows on in Chicago.
I love attending concerts, musicals, live entertainment events. I have attended the Dave Koz Christmas concert three times. This is the best concert experience that I have ever had. It was high energy from the beginning until the very end. I laughed. I cried. I worshiped. I spent quality time with my children and family. Jonathan Butler is extremely talented and knows God. He sings the gospel. My soul was cleansed tonight. God bless you Jonathan Butler you blessed all of us with your beautiful voice and your worship of Jesus Christ . Merry Christmas.
Was so lit. Great performers and a real treat to see them going at it with a supporting orchestra
Both bands were truly exceptional. The Manics were huge with a massive sound and a great choice of setlist.
Suede brought some crazy energy to the place.
I was with my 20 year old son and this concert was a complete demonstration of the entire Britpop genre - loud, brash, in your face, and musically perfect.
The venue? I've seen the Manics 8 or 9 times, and this was the most amazing venue I've seen them in. It was absolutely stunning.
Amazing tour - two great bands in an amazing venue.
It was my first time going to a concert of this type of music let alone this band although over the years I have listened to a bit of music of the like (that I don't specifically remember anymore) referred to by friends and I'm glad I chose to come see Wardruna because I haven't had a night that good in a very long time.
MMJ always blows my mind. Best band ever! This was my 1st indoor show and it was an amazing experience. Putting this Chicago in line with the 2019 Red Rocks & 2022 OBH
First time seeing Vedder and it was fantastic! His voice is something out of this world, Album is Great .
Venue really pretty
King Crimson, Auditorium Theater, Chicago, 9/10/2019
Wow! You haven't seen "drumming" until you see *three* first-class drummers play a split-second game of Percussion Hot Potato. #kingcrimson https://t.co/6sDI7As4E2
King Crimson delivers! The show is an eclectic selection of their best years delivered expertly. Have no preconceptions, just sit back and enjoy the sonic journey they take you on.
I’ve been there many times, the most beautiful venue in the city, acoustically perfect, i’ve seen return to forever there I’ve seen Frank Zappa there and I’ve seen four nights of string cheese incident New Year’s shows, can’t wait to go see Neil☮️
I’ve seen them live a handful of times. Some of my favorite memories are of the band just rocking out. Back when Chris was still around, I remember him writhing on the floor while playing the We Looked Like Giants solo and it was incredible.
But this was one of the best shows I’ve seen them do. And it’s definitely partly because they played the entirety of Transatlanticism (my favorite album), but also because they are damn good live. See them first chance you get if you haven’t yet. And even if you have.
It was one of the most amazing concerts at an amazing theater. Not to be missed!
