Magical night of Doom celebrating 35 years of the debut album "Epicus Doomicus Metallicus" by playing the entire album live, along with some other tracks from their big catalog, such as Mirror..Mirror, Bewitched, but for me; the icing on the cake was when they played "Barer of Pain" live, the place was packed, wonderful set, amazing sound and lighting, h*******e Candlemass fans from allover the world, I myself coming from the US, made so many friends there, European fans rules and they are superior to the ones we have in the States.

Beautiful venue, amazing concert

Great show with a band I’ve been longing to see! Unfortunately the sound was way to loud, thus killing all nuances. The sound technician seemed to have trouble with Roine’s singing. Sometimes the voice was suppressed and lacking of treble. Sometimes it caused acoustic feedback. Without the shortcomings mentioned above, it had been a five star show.

Was to be the last gig Ola Magnell performed, as he passed away in February the following year. The concert was, as always when Ola performed a magic experience, capturing the essence of his musicianship, both in the melodic and lyrical aspect. The gig list contained a string of his best known songs, past and present. Many of his loyal, long time followers were present, he had a class band gathered for the occasion and had invited singer Lisa Nilsson to accompany him on a few songs. All in all it turned out, in hindsight to be a very worthy celebration of the life and professional of a quite remarkable singer-songwriter.
