The concert was super awesome and I really enjoyed myself. Twenty One Pilots were full of energy and put on a really great show. I thought that the lighting and visual effects used were particularly impressive. Half a star off my rating due to couple of people seated around me who were being disruptive (e.g. were noticeably drunk, vaping) and somewhat tainted my enjoyment of the concert experience.
No words can describe how emotional tonight was at Olivia Rodrigo’s FINAL GUTS WORLD TOUR SHOW… I never in my life thought I’d actually cry at a concert but here I am, crying during “Favourite Crime” as that song just hits me a lot and it really is such a relatable song with the lyrics and always gets me emotional.
I turned 17 on the 17th. Best birthday ever. My first and most favourite concert ever. So healing 😂 (my friends and I did some unexpected emotional crying, most relatable songs?! Hello?!?) You can tell she's experienced because she's such an amazing performer and just knows what to do with such pro level confidence, comfortability and way of being. You can hear and understand how all her songs are hits. She feels like a professional and a real person. She's got such skill and talent and I love the evident maturity she has in conversations and some of her songs. I've never had a favourite artist before and now I have a top 3. MOB. (Michael, Olivia, Bruno) 😉
Thank you so much Olivia, you're incredible and I'm glad you love Australia!!!! 😍💚🦘
Brilliant show. Ne-Yo kept the vibe going throughout and the dancers were fantastic. All his hits were performed. I'm so glad that I had the chance to watch him perform live and up close (I was in the mosh-pit up near the front). It was great that the security took care of the crowd so that the show could go on without a hitch. (There were a few people who fainted and water was regularly passed to the crowd.)
Iron Maiden One of the last of the classical bands still in one piece and performing as if it’s still the 80s. Glad I went, they put on a great show! Bought a last minute ticket for Fri the 13th, their last show in Australia. Could be the last time ever in Australia. They are all legends!! Thought I was going to stick out with my 75 years and white hair but no, audience was of all ages!
The show was amazing, at first I thought that the opening show was gonna be really crappy and that J Balvin would only sing songs from his new album, but boy was I in for a treat! The opening show was good, and when J Balvin came out it was even better, I loved the theme andeverything. 10/10
Niall's concert was amazing. The wait for this concert just built up the excitement. When I got there it was just unbelievable. I waited almost just under a year for this show. The atmosphere was comforting knowing that I was with my people. The after party after the show was great too. They played One Direction songs and I screamed so loud I lost my voice. I would not say no to another Niall concert. Can't wait for him to be back in Australia. Thanks Niall!!
it was one of the best nights of my life (can’t choose between niall harry and louis) but it was seriously so fun and i can’t lie i cried the whole entire show. I love Niall so much and despise waiting all day in the rain and in the cold, it was all worth it.
GREAT SHOW, AND SUPPORT ACT THIS BEAUTIFUL MOMENT WERE ELECTRIC & THEN AMY AND THE EVANESCENCE CREW BLEW THE ROOF OFF.
THE ONLY GRIPE WAS HOW THE VENUE STAFF HANDLED THE GATES OPENING & THE MICROMANAGEMENT OF PATRONS ENTERING THE OUTER ARENA . IN PARTICULAR MY SECTION (FLOOR TICKETS , STANDING ONLY), FIRST WE HAD TO WALK ALL THE WAY AROUND THE BACK OF THE ARENA, THE FURTHEST GATE FROM ALL THE PUBTRANSPORT DROP OFFS/TAXI ZONES , BUS PARKING AND GENERAL PUBLIC PARKING LOTS & COVERED PARKING BUILDING, TO EITHER STAND AROUND OR SIT ON THE COLD CEMENT TO WAIT FOR GATES TO OPEN BECAUSE THERE IS NO PUBLIC SEATING ON THE BACKSIDE OF THE ARENA LIKE THE OTHER SIDES WITH SEATING , FOOD & DRINKS OUTLETS & TOILETS.
JUST SAYING ARENA NEEDS TO UPDATE THOSE ISSUES.
THEN AFTER SITTING OUTSIDE THE GATE WITH NO ACCESS TO TOILETING, FOOD OR DRINKS THE FLOOR PATRONS WERE TOLD CONTINUALLY TO HURRY UP AND DO NOT STOP WHILE BEING USHERED FROM THE GATE, UP A SET OF STAIRS, AROUND A CORNER, THEN DOWN ANOTHER SET OF STAIRS & INTO A CORRIDOR TO STAND FOR ANOTHER 40 MINUTES WHILE ALL THE OTHER SECTIONS WERE ALLOWED TO GO TO CONCESSION STANDS & VISIT MERCH STALL & GO TO THE TOILET & HANG AROUND IN THE OUTER ARENA & FIND THEIR SEATS, ONLY AFTER ARENA STAFF HAD DECIDED ENOUGH OF THE AUDIENCE HAD ENTERED THE CONCERT AREA WERE WE ALLOWED TO LEAVE THE CORRIDOR TO TAKE THE FLOOR & WERE TOLD WE COULDN'T LEAVE THE FLOOR UNTIL THE REST OF THOSE ATTENDING HAD FOUND THEIR SEATS & OUR SECTION WAS FINALLY ALLOWED OUT OF FLOOR AREA TO ACCESS FOOD, DRINKS, TOILET, MERCH, SMOKE AREA . 2 HOUR+ STANDING & WAITING WITHOUT ACCESS TO SERVICES THAT EVERY OTHER ACCESS POINTS ARE AFFORDED. ONLY SERVICE ACCESSIBLE TO US WAS BEING ESCORTED TO HIRE BELONGINGS LOCKERS & ESCORTED OUT.
UPGRADE ALL ACCESS POINTS TO PROVIDE SAME SERVICES AS MAIN ENTRANCE. WE PAID MORE FOR OUR TICKETS THAN MOST IN ATTENDANCE AND GOT TREATED LIKE WE HAD TURNED UP & MOOCHED FREE TICKETS AT THE COST OF THE EVENT STAFF AND HAD NO MONEY TO SPEND.
I went with a mate who is more of a Blink fan than I am so take my review with a pinch of salt. They played all of their big songs, the sound and visuals were good too. The crowd were great as well.
Only minor criticism would be that their between songs banter was horrendous. Need to get better at that, but at least they tried and weren’t one of those bands that just played their songs and left.
Changing the original booked venue from Wollongong to Olympic Park did cause us some issues.
Then to have side restricted view seats allocated in place of our front of stage tickets was extremely disappointing. Only email contact with Ticketec is also terrible customer service!
Apart from that, loved those wonderful musicians, wished the concert had gone longer!
Billie has one of the greatest stage presences I've ever had the privilege to witness. She somehow was able to create the intimacy of a smaller venue as well as the audience interaction that comes along with a smaller show and at the same time delivered a performance worthy of a larger stadium. Truly a once in a once-in-a-generation talent.
it was the best first concert i have ever been to. after tylers i have been to 4 more concerts and although my seats were in the last rows the show was FANTASTIC I WAS FLABERGASTED. i had so much fun and he is such a good performer i dont know how he does it with all of his upbeat songs and he still manages to give the same energy to every song for his fans. i just love tyler and i want him to come to sydney again. i rate this show 100/10
I knew it was going to be good, but it still exceeded my expectations and I am buzzing days later. Papa is arguably one of the greatest showmen I've ever seen. I was transfixed by his mere presence, and the Nameless Ghouls (particularly white guitar) blew my socks off with their technical skill and they were having an absolute blast playing. Each of the performers on stage absolutely love what they're doing and it shows, and we can feel it in the crowd. Pyro, confetti, ambience. It felt decadent. I've only been a fan since Meliora but the setlist was almost exactly how I would have chosen it. With the unfortunate technical issue of the appearance of the keytar briefly, the sound mix was nearly perfect, and it didn't ruin anything. This
was my first Ritual and I definitely feel like I've had a religious experience. Whatever Ghost is doing, it's working. I must see them again as soon as possible.
This was the best concert I have ever been to! I was right up at the barricade and had so many interactions with Papa and Rain (ghoul). I had such an incredible night and it was totally worth the tiredness at work the next day.
Papa fully serenaded me during Danse Macarbre and He Is and I got Rain's pick plus so much mummy dust. Safe to say, this concert is very interactive.
I had never seen Ghost perform before so I didn't know what I was expecting. Was reasonably inexpensive, but I would have paid an embarrassing sum to see them play again. Wonderful production, wonderful performers, do not hesitate going to see them!
One of the best concerts I've ever been too
Been waitinf years for them to come to Australia and that patience was worth it to finally see them in the flesh. I hope to see them soon again in the next few years I just wished they did a meet and greet which tobias did but with no notice very sad but I was just unlucky
Ghost was fucking amazing best ritual and I hope to see them soon again and see how far tobias goes
Evanescence was fantastic. Amy Lee's voice still gives me goosebumps 20 years later.
Was disappointed in the venue, they opened the doors less than an hour before The Beautiful Monument started and despite arriving at the venue an hour before the doors opened by the time we got in and got our merch they had finished.
Brilliant time, all bands were fantastic and had great positive energy. Hilltop Hoods really entertained and took care of the crowd. My daughter was reluctant and said she would take one for the team…she ended up dancing throughout the whole show and got a sore throat from yelling out n singing. Loved it!!! Cheers xx
I had an absolutely incredible night. DAN & SHAY were amazing and so much fun. We sung our hearts out. Shawn completely rocked it. We went to his Sydney Illuminate concert back in 2017 and didn’t think it could be topped. But this concert went above and beyond. They all had so much energy and passion which reflected off the crowd. We all had the time of our lives. Would 110% go again to both Shawn and DAN & SHAY.
Wow!!! I have been watching BMTH live since Suicide Season and honestly the energy never disappoints! It's been amazing seeing them evolve on and off the stage. This tour was no exception to their ability to transport a crowd lift their energies and keep connection with the audience! I love you guys!
