I really enjoyed the show, even when she announced the last song! And then came back for a 5 song encore!!!
Event was fabulous, the performance and the setting. It was an excellent holiday celebration .
Fantastic performance. He was warm and welcoming during the VIP experience as well.
This is my 2nd time seeing him..... can't wait to see him again.
Already a favored and fervent voice, Gregory Porter, like the finest of wines, gets better year by year! What a way to begin the Christmas Season right! The band, from the glue of the sax to drums to Hammond organ to background singers to the, O My Goodness, bassist and piano dual engagement of the crowd to NOT allow ‘Musical Genocide’ was powerfully inclusive. Having lost my mother recently, Porter helped me even to reflect in remembrance of her and all things Christmas with his healing rendition of ‘If I Could Kiss My Mother Once More at Christmas’. Thank You My Brother, whether 3 months or 30 years, still dear! This full house was truly appreciative of Gregory’s stories and selfless musical sharing of all in the gift of music in and beyond the season. Surely the makings for Happy Holidays to say the least. Thank You! Thank You! Thank You O Great Songster!!
PJ always gives an amazing show! This concert was extraordinary
Such a fun show! Great musicians, phenomenal vocalists, fantastic dancers…it was like going to the church of music.
I didn’t go but my best friend got too and I was happy she did and she also got merch which I’m happy for her <3 I love your music Laufey
Jon Batiste is an extraordinarily gifted and eclectically talented musician and artist who gives an outstanding show, crossing numerous genres on multiple instruments. There is none other like him, even when he plays portions of a Prince song. Amazing show that incorporates the audience into his energy exceptionally well! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!
In Itzhak Perlman's hands, the violin isn't wood and strings, it's a conduit of pure emotion. His technique is breathtaking, fingers dancing across the strings with effortless precision, yet it's the depth of feeling that truly mesmerizes. His bow sings, caressing the instrument with tenderness or unleashing torrents of beauty, every phrase imbued with a profound understanding of the music's soul. Witnessing Perlman perform is to transcend mere listening; it's to be swept away by a tidal wave of musical eloquence, leaving you breathless, forever changed by the sheer brilliance of his artistry. Seeing him in person at the Winspear added to the beauty of the evening. My husband and I will never forget this event. Thank you, Mr. Perlman, for coming to Dallas, Texas and warming our hearts on such a chilly evening.
Really good show. The band sounds great, and Monica Martin was an utterly charming opener.
It was amazing!! From the band, to the venue, to our seats. Absolutely amazing!!!
The song selection was very good. They always tight. I always judge the show on song selection. They did a good job mixing great old songs that I love versus the radio hits. PS the new violinist stole the show.
Just unbelievable. Saw them nineteen years ago at a small theater here in Dallas (The Granada) and this show and venue were beyond perfect and beautiful. Fabulous show by a fabulous band.

Wow! Just wow!!! This is in my top 5 shows! And I've seen a lot of shows! They were amazing. So cool seeing them perform live and very up close! That thing he does with the bow on the guitar was amazing. And his voice is like a musical instrument! The entire band was amazing!
Absolutely incredible performance, Winspear was a fantastic venue for this show compared to Bomb Factory a few years back.
My son and I throughly enjoyed the guys’ outstanding and amazing talents. I am super proud of these guys for breaking the stereotype and getting out the box. I like how they are leading by example and being great role models. The highlight was their former teacher who inspired them was actually in the audience! What an honor!
It was a fun evening! I imagine the sound was great for the radio listeners. But from our seats on the floor smack dab in the middle, it was really hard to hear Chris Thile talk or sing with clarity. Also hard to hear Esperanza sing with clarity. Tom Papa (and the other speakers/actors) sounded just fine.
Wonderful show! Glad I took my wife to her first Prine gig. Very entertaining despite his voice really sounding rougher these days...God bless you & your music!
