Loved the perfomance of the Jerome Oscar trio (Guitar/singer, bassist and drummer). Jerome's sound is very recognisable, and loaded with emotion and feels. Accompanied by the tight rytm section (I include bass in that) makes for sensitive craftsmanship of all 3 members. If anything, when the budget allows, I would love for the trio to get a backing vocal (group) on tour. Loved it, enjoyed myself to the max!
Literally the best concert ever! Had some interactions with Nieve and also some with Keo. Not to forget that Nieve drew me a tattoo and all the Keo members signed my poster!!! Overall the concert was a 10/10
Fell inlove with openers once again.
Loved it! The venue wasn't that big, so everyone was very close to the artists. The first artist that performed was Emery Hills and I was very surprised to see that he wasn't well known, as his perfomance was amazing and everyone was enjoying it. Odetari's performance was also insane. I loved every second of it. He tried to include all the people and socialized with everyone. My sister had a sign that asked him if he could sign something for her and he agreed as soon as he saw the sign and even signed something for me! I hope I will get the chance to meet him someday and get to talk to him. I had the time of my life and can't wait for him to perform again in Amsterdam. Love you Odetari!
It was like really cool, there was a cool vibe and everyone was having fun. But it was like really short. I thought it would last longer, but it didn’t. I hope his next concert will be longer 😁
It was a great show, the energy was amazing. Carter makes really good songs in my opinion, and they were played well live. The crowdparticipation was fantastic! The only thing I noticed was that Carters guitar was a bit low in volume at times and was missing a bit of high mid, because of this it didn't really cut through the mix well. But overall the band sounded great and The venue was very nice. Me and my friends had a lovely time last monday and would abselutely recommend to anyone who wasn't there to go and check this guy out next time! You won't regret it!
Thanks to Carter, the band, his manegement and the venue for an amazing night!
What an amazingly hilarious and beautiful show! Carter did some great crowd work and jokes in between songs and being in a small venue the crowd reacted right back. He gave such an energy to singing in real life that I really highlights just how controlled and polished his videos online are. I would 100% go again if he comes for another tour and I hope he does!
Also, I may have found him through Dirt Man like so many others, but his other music slaps and I want him to know I sang along to every word of Nashville and Melatonin and Ready Aim Fire and Aliens Ain't Shit and so many others. Because he legit isn't just a funny meme creator, he's a damn good musician in his own right!
Masterclass in live concerts: Flawlessly executed, from the very first sounds of the starting song, the band keeps you hypnotized and consistently longing for more. The fun they have on stage is clear and present and not unnoticed by the audience who have absorbed the meticulate songs played to perfection, not routine like, but with a beating musical heart. BLH is the time capsule you need, to escape a harsh reality, by breaking rules of nature. When BLH perform their perfect soothing songs that hit you straight in the heart, release you from physical inconveniences for a couple of hours and make you smile because of sheer admiration about the unprecedented craftmanship that happens right in front of your face and ears. Time is of no essence, their music is matter.
For Americana lovers, there's plenty of banjo, at times with a hint of jazzy supporting melodies. It works absolutely awesome! I hope next year they will play the Netherlands again!
It was a solo show(Dana Margolin only), because one of the band members had a family emergency. It was still amazing and she did a great job! The live songs live are way better than the studio recordings.
Watching the Ginger-verse come togheter stronger than the marvel-verse is incredible.
Being there whilst history is being made has to be some of the most fun I've had at a concert (if you can even call it that anymore)
An absolute joy!
I have seen sam with various iterations of The Howl and the Hum over the years.
This line up was THE Best. Loved the addition of the saxophone.
Thank you so much - it was definitely worth the long journey.
Thank you to the Tolhuistin venue and their staff too - a cracking venue.
We literally had the best time! It was our first ever concert and certainly not the last!
There were some clarity issues on the event hosting company end, but the Band and crew helped us sort it out, we are beyond grateful!!
The starting acts (Jady and Stain The Canvas) did so great at getting the crowd hyped, they literally KILLED IT!
Call Me Karizma and his band were AWESOME, it was an unforgettable experience!
The concert was great and intimate in this little venue called Tolhuistuin
I was so happy I got last minute tickets for this concert and be part of it.
Wouldn`t have missed it for anything.
And I guess everybody who was there knew all lyrics.
Sound was great and so was Livingston!!!!
Very nice atmosphere in the crowd and Livingston himself was amazing. You could really see that he enjoyed the show and interacted with the crowd a lot. Nice venue, intimate and no long cue :)
Alfie Jukes show at Tolhuistuin /Amsterdam was brilliant. The voice of this young man feels like a blanket on a cold day - warm and comfortable. Great songs, some calm, some energetic. It was only Alfie and Meg/guitar but it's as nice as Alfie with a whole band. Also Liang Lawrence as support was really sweet.
The venue is easy to reach (non stop free ferry from Amsterdam Central Station and then just a two minutes walk). No need to be there hours before the doors because the venue is quite intimate, you'll have a good view no matter where you stand.

A great concert. The room is very correct with drinks service. The perfect sound. The proximity and visibility of the stage, very good. The respectful public.
Cannons played fantastic. Very good atmosphere, very good harmony with us. Excellent music. Ryan, Paul, Ben, fabulous and Michelle... spectacular. Beautiful voice, encouraging the public, interacting, dancing and enjoying the whole concert. An unforgettable performance.
it was so much fun, the bootcamp was such a nice idea im happy i got to meet him! it was all so good organised and he was really nice to his fans :)
It was an absolutely amazing experience however as a newcomer to this lind of thing I didnt expect that the times mentioned on websites would be so different irl. The show was supposed to be from 8.30 to 11.00 according to the website(minus good kid and loupe ofc) but lovejoy only came on the stage at 9.15 and left an hour later. I didnt expect that. But other than that I HAD AN ABSOLUTE BLAST
Awesome concert. Have been to a CMA concert twice. I'm amazed by her convincing stage performance, both solo and with a band. Yesterday's concert was CMA reinvented with some CMA classics in a more progressive version. CMA's interaction with guitarist/keyboard player Jerry Bernardt (Erin Rae) hit the musical bullseye!
Black Honey were at their very best on the Paradiso stage. They gave us everything...Gritty guitar riffs, heart pounding Bass lines, Solid drum beats, with Izzy powering out inspiring lyrics and a stage presence that was as energetic as it was engaging.
This band know their crowd & feed off the energy they get back from the reaction of their fans. That was in evidence by the fistful last night.
What a night! What a venue
Great show to a packed out and enraptured Paradiso Noord - Tolhuistuin. Wasn't sure how 4 Yorkshire lads growling about the depressing rightward drift of England in recent years would go down in Amsterdam. It went down a storm! Their sound, which feels stripped back and raw on record, explodes to fill the venue with a relentless, pounding beat and baseline. Sam Shijpstone's lead guitar is faultless, energised and bloody brilliant! James is a warm, funny and engaging front man that has Amsterdam in the palm of his hand. Satirical lyrics with dark and deep meaning but delivered through catchy hooks and bounce along choruses. Yard Act have soul, talent and grit but they also have the songs to back it up. I am already checking where they are playing next. Catch them while you can in a small venue.
