Halford sounded like a 25 year old. I was blown away by the strength of his voice. I saw them a couple times in the 80's and halford sounds the same!
If judas priest is coming to your town, do NOT miss them. You'll be blown away.
Later, rivetheads
Godsmack was amazing!! They did not disappoint at all:-). Sound was great! The energy was awesome! Even after 26 years they were still having fun up there. It was our first time seeing them and has been a bucket list of mine for a long time, so for me it was long overdue and worth it!!
The venue however lacked quite a bit:-(. Only 1 merchandise line and it was long (had to wait till show started to get in line). Drink lines were long too and the pours were crap!
Thought I had good seats till the show started and the way the seats were set up they were level with the walkway and lower section. With everyone standing we could barely see the stage:-(((
With all that being said it was an amazing show and we will see them every chance we get:-))
Christopher Cross was fabulous. His voice has not changed. It’s a concert that I will never forget. He wowed the crowd, singing Authur , he rocked When he performed Ride Like the Wind , one of my favorites! And of course brought tears to my eyes when he sang Think of Laura.
What amazing performance.
His concert will not disappoint 🥰
He has comeback from a time we're he was one sick guy. I followed him on Facebook when I had an account. We Kept in touch through the that time. He looked great, Love the set of music that he played. That's the fourth time that i've seen him now in concert and never been disappointed!
The show was great! Loved every moment, every song & the new song All About Love is awesome! The guys were having fun with the fans and the atmosphere was electrifying! Great show as always! Love this band! The venue was great, just wish the section for handicap seats were somewhere that those fans can see the stage when fans are standing up.
It was so nice to see Alan again after not seeing him for quite long time. I wish there were some earplugs outside because it was very loud and I had the stuff my fingers in my ears or put some paper wipes that I found to block out the very loud noise, thanks Brian
Chris Isaak is a fantastic entertainer!!! He is uber talented with a voice that has huge range and is so smooth. He's also incredibly engaging, with witty remarks, fun jokes, completely at ease and an all around talented performer. I've seen him a couple of times, including a previous holiday show. He has new material so you could go see him several times and it's not a wash and repeat performance. I highly recommend his shows. This time, for added pleasure, he highlighted the local humane society. He brought down the house!!!
I've wanted to see Judah and the Lion since 2018 maybe even earlier. They were opening for a Christian Rock band that I didn't really care to see. Judah and the Lion music was awesome but there must have been a lighting issue because they only had lighting on the lead singer. Dark on all the other musicians! I even asked the guy at the sound board and he said they'll come on. Well they didn't and so I heard Judah and the Lion perform but I couldn't see them perform. I was disappointed to say the least.
Phenomenal show--so what's new? It was their last show of the year, and everyone did look tired and grateful that they were heading home (Rick mentioned that a couple times!), but you'd have never known it from their powerful performance. Of course, Zander sounded great. Peterssen did a remarkable solo--definitely not your typical bass solo. Got to hear Robin II do a solo. Unfortunately, the crowd was not as welcoming to him as they should have been. I guess a lot of folks couldn't figure out about two Robin Zanders in the same band. Threw me the first time.
Kudos to GSR for their great security people. Very polite and patient. Helped make this a memorable show.
The experience of watching Little Feat perform at the GSR was nothing short of perfection. The combination of this incredible band and the venue's acoustics created a magical atmosphere. It's been a long time coming for me to have the opportunity to see them live, and I couldn't have asked for a better moment.
Little Feat's music is timeless, and it never fails to bring enjoyment to those who listen. I decided to invite a friend who wasn't familiar with the band, and they were pleasantly surprised by the outstanding performance. I would undoubtedly give the entire experience a well-deserved 5-star rating, both for the band's talent and the unforgettable playlist they delivered.
Overall, it was an exceptional evening filled with fantastic music and cherished memories. Little Feat truly knows how to create an unforgettable live performance, and I feel grateful to have been part of the audience that night.
Great show. Jerry Cantrell as the opener was off the hook! Bush played lots of stuff off their new album but mixed in a few of their old hits. Gavin still rocks, even at 57yo and the rest of the band was great too. Jerry played about 50/50 of AIC and his solo stuff. Definitely see them if you get a chance to on this tour!
Vic was definitely feeling under the weather but the best show I’ve been to. The headliner I Prevail was on their A-game and showed no fatigue from having performed When We Were Young a week prior. Fit for a King and Stand Atlantic were also amazing. The crowd was great about alerting security/I Prevail when someone fainted during their set and were generally soooo friendly. The MOST welcomed I’ve felt during a concert
Absolutely phenomenal Wheels of Soul show! Was great to see Los Lobos. All the musicians were unbelievable and truly talented, the TTB and Gabe Dixon. I could have listened to more Susan and Derek… ♥️ But thanks to everyone, it was a great show, was worth every mile for me, as I live in So Cal, but needed to get away. Can’t wait to see them again!
This concert as so good! Everyone on the stage was a rock star. Los Lobos still rock hard after all these years. Haven't seen them since about 2003 or so and they still kick butt. When everyone was on stage together it was just so fun. Tedeschi Trucks are one of the tightest groups around, everyone is great with no slackers. How he plays that slide always amazes me. They played a great variety of music which was great as well.
As with the last show at this venue - the light flashed out into the house SUCK! No one really wants to have a bright white light or stobes shining repeatedly in their eyes throughout a set causing you to have to close your eyes and not see the performance. I was really glad each time one of the films came on the screens because I knew the damn lights would not come on. They do not add to the ambience and the strobe effect is even worse than the ones that just roll through/up and down the house. They are so bad, they make me hesitate to get tickets for this venue in the future. I'm going to try wearing a ball cap to the next concert to see if that helps, but be aware, they totally suck and if you are light sensitive, you will not be happy with them. DO BETTER GRAND SIERRA!
I'm a bit conflicted leaving this review. I am more of a CRB (Chris Robinson Brotherhood) fan, which is a different vibe than the Black Crowes. I wanted to like this show, but I felt a real sense that the band (Chris & Rich in particular) were not at all into it. Chris was actually quite active strutting around like Mick Jagger on stage, but it felt so disingenuous - like a show for the fans. I truly think this tour is a cash grab for both of them. I gave it 3 stars because there is no denying that these guys are talented, but it's painfully obvious they are not there for their enjoyment. Sorry guys, just wasn't my jam.
Ace was drunk, sloppy. I wanted to introduce my 15 year old Son to one of my boyhood idols. It was embarrassing. And disheartening. I was under the impression that Ace was sober for many years. I was proud of him. We'll probably never see Ace tour again. My heart is broken. Alice Cooper kicked ass.
Both Dirty Honey and Mammoth were amazing and so much fun!! They played the music with instruments rather than computers, and they are so entertaining!!
Mammoth was awesome!!!
It was incredible to watch Eddie Van Halen live on through his unbelievably talented son. I hope Wolfgang keeps his promise and comes back to Reno!!
Thanks for the show! 🤘🏻
Dream Theater puts on a great show as always. It was sad to see the place only half full. They pretty much sold out last time they were here. Not sure if GSR is pricing people out or what. GSR also has a very strict no recording policy which takes a lot of fun out of the concert experience. Anyone who knows DT knows they don't care about being recorded. They love it. I will go everytime they come no matter what.
Fantastic! Simply fantastic. He is an absolutely amazing artist with both talent and humility, with an awesome sense of humor! (On a side note...I would not recommend the venue as they clearly don't know how to handle a show with high demand. Probably why they were added to the tour late due to demand. IMHO)
