Bush was a pleasant surprise. I knew of Bush and of course I’ve heard their music but never really followed them. They have a lot more hits than I knew and put on a great show. Gavin is wildly entertaining and loaded with energy. You would never believe he is as old as he is. He never stopped moving on stage or while he was singing and running through the crowd. I passed the merch booth on the way into the venue but afterwards I stopped and bought a shirt!
Candlebox is the whole reason I bought tickets for this show. I saw them for the first time last year and was so disappointed that I would never get to see them live again (or so I thought at the time). They were freaking phenomenal. Then when I saw them on the lineup with Bush I knew I was going. They do deserve more than a 9 song set. Their catalog is awesome. Personally I think they should get more stage time than Cantrell. Personally I would have loved them to be the headline act. Again they were awesome and Kevin Martin is an incredible vocalist. If I ever get another chance to see them live I absolutely will go. Candlebox rocks!
Every single band threw down, from Artikal Sound System to Denm to Pepper to Iration. Fantastic show and I loved that some of our local boys from Tropidelic showed up to support these bands that they have played and worked with. Kudos to the staff at Jacob's Pavillion for taking care of all of us, including security, food and drink service and most especially the ladies working the restrooms. They made sure the bathroom was stocked, clean and kept the line moving.
Artist was amazing. Venue needs to work on parking situation and food service. I arrived with plenty of time but it took way longer to park than it should have. Then the line to get into the venue was at least a mile long, no exaggeration. It wrapped around a large parking lot and around the corner down the street. I couldn’t even see the end. Why is there only 1 entrance and 10,000 people? There were only about 4 or 5 people scanning tickets. Then trying to get food was a mess. They took my order and then there was no organization to fullfilling orders. As chaotic as it was, all of the staff were very friendly and helpful, just seams to be poorly organized.
Chappell Roan gives a magical concert experience and is truly the next great artist of this generation. Would recommend to anyone to see her if you can, and would also visit Jacob's Pavilion again if given the opportunity as it was a wonderful venue. Not too big, I feel like the view and sound would be perfect for any seat in the ampitheater.
Was just as good as I was expecting from Will/Lorna! Absolutely insanity 🔥! It's still crazy to hear those litterally Demon screams especially live 😱 idk how he does it..and without opening up portals to hell on the stage.
Don't know much about Mastodon but they were pretty cool.
Gojira was wildly excellent and full of energy 👌 loved the interactivity they brought out! You could tell they're the headliner & have been doing this a while. I didn't know the songs (didn't have time to listen beforehand) instantly regconized the big important songs and they were electric 😉 🤘
Mammoth WVH was fantastic. The sound level was perfect. We could hear every note and understand every word. The five stars are for Wolfy and the band. On the downside, 7Dust and Alterbribge had the sound levels too high for us. We had to go back behind the stands and use earplugs to be able to get the volume level down to hear the music.
Clutch is always awesome in concert. I have been following them since the 90s and they never disappoint. No mosh pits allowed at Jacobs pavilion, which is a bummer, but that fact probably saved my old butt from an emergency room trip. Neil Fallon is a ROCK GOD. So much positive energy from the band. Hacibs Pavilion has a ton of BS rules though. No outside water bottles, even if they are sealed due to "safety issues". Yeah right. Instead, you gotta buy their $5 water.
Show started great with We Came as Romans, MIW carried it beautifully & BVB did a great job keeping the excitement going.
But when we finally got to INK (one of my favorite bands) they're whole set was off from the start... You can hear the drums had no bass stating off, the mics were either off or wayyy too quite, the leads were dead but not in a good way 💀 and all the effects was absent or quite as hell which is half of INK's music! It was soooo frustrating to experience this 😔. We were in the front row other people were trying to get the bands attention to let them know there was issues but the technical issues were never resolved so the whole set was on and off 😒.
Towards the end a bunch of people who were trying to get the attention of the band left out of frustration and annoyance..I can't blame them! Again it's so frustrating to experience that since they were in the VIP Sinners pack I believe and left early..
I've seen INK at least 2 or 3 times before this and they've always "killed it live" so this is not typical. I don't know who is to blame, the sound crew or the venue 🤷 but INK couldn't bring their theatricore to life sadly..
I was already a fan of Motionless before seeing them live. This was my fiancé and my 1st time seeing them. We missed out seeing them at Blue Ridge last year but glad we got to see them this year. We loved the energy Chris had on stage and how interactive he was with the audience. Definitely will be going to more concerts in the near future. 🖤
This concert was absolutely phenomenal. My fiancé and I had an amazing time. Glad we upgraded to vip. We will definitely be attending more concerts like this again. All the bands did a phenomenal job and since we didn't get to see them at Blue Ridge last year, I'm glad we got to this year at a stand alone venue.
10/10 loved watching them! I screamed myself hoarse and danced to the point I had jello for legs! Second time seeing them preform and it just gets better each time! Did enjoy the meet and greet though I feel like it could have been better. Picture of how close I was to the band
The show was magnificent, from the opening song to the closing song. They played every old hit a fan could have asked for, and even played the Grateful Dead’s friend of the devil during bang bang. The only disappointing part of the show was the crowd because the majority were only their to see O.A.R, who didn’t put up half the performance that Dispatch did. To put it simply Dispatch did to O.A.R what Jimi Hendrix did to The Who at Monterey Pop.
These are Legends and the concert shows why these two groups still have the fan base they have after decades of performing hit after hit. You will never be disappointed attending their show. Love you guys and thanks for your life long dedication to your craft and to us the fans.
Super fun show! Bad Omens, Beartooth and A Ghost Inside opened up and got all the fans hyped up for A Day To Remember. The Ghost Inside stole the show in my opinion. The venue is unique. My only complaint is the workers pouring your drinks into these large cups. They are hard to hold and not spill while you are jamming out! Other than that A+
Great show. Great music. Great venue. Both Collective Soul and Switchfoot were amazing.
Easy in, easy out. No lines for alcohol or the bathrooms. My only complaint is the price of alcohol is exorbitant. Not sure why beer has to be priced $13.00 for 24 ounce can of beer.
This was one of my top concert experiences of my life! Impeccable vocals, various instruments and musicians. David Gray and his group were very engaging with the audience … i will be watching for repeat performances in Cleveland and HOPEFULLY at the Jacobs Pavilion!! My favorite venue in Cleveland during our summers and early fall.
But I would certainly see David Gray at Playhouse Square during winter and early spring months. Thank you!!!
The venue was terrible and it was a hard crowd. This generation coming up does not know how to have fun!!!!!! I'm 39 and I have twice as much energy as these 21 year olds LMAO. I was grateful to see him..I gave him as much love as I could. Interested to see him at Bonaroo with a more diverse crowd.
We have been Alice Coopers favorite fans for 47 years! We come to see him when he comes within 200 mile radius. Ryan Roxie Glen Stroble Chuck Garrick Nita Strausser Tommy Hendrickson and of course Alice Cooper we will see them as long as they tour. Please have them back again. Thank you. Great show.
Anderson .Paak & The Free Nationals put on one of the best shows that I've ever seen live. I was absolutely blown away by everything from the pyrotechnics, lighting and stage setup to the energetic performances and overall energy in the crowd. It was electric. .Paak is a dynamic entertainer that seamlessly switched between playing the drums and dancing working the crowd to even walking through that packed crowd never skipping a beat. The Free Nationals were spectular!!! The whole show was spectacular!Cleveland represented well. He felt the energy..saw our dancing, heard our singing and he couldn't get a word in at one point because the pavilion was so loud. Do not miss his show when he comes back to cle in the future. I would travel far to see him again if i have to. It was that good! Life-changing!
