Gas South Arena

This was my first official concert, and I had so much fun! It felt unreal to get to listen to her in person, I'm glad I got to experience this!! Near the end I even started tearing up, I'm not even sure why...

I know only a few Disturbed songs. But the music was so loud, I could understand the words. I was looking forward to hearing some of their other songs, but I ended up giving up halfway through their set.

I have recently become a Daughtry fan because his newer music is getting a little bit harder rock (which I prefer). He has an amazing voice, great stage presence. I would certainly encourage anyone to see him live. I don't think he gets the credit he really deserves!!! If you have other plans the night he comes into town, change them and go support him. He's an amazing singer, songwriter, artist and person.

David has the most amazing voice...effortless! He found his gift a long time ago and now we get to experience it. This show was SO much better than I could have imagined. In my opinion, he sounds SO much better live than through my Bose stereo in my car. Simply AMAZING. I have been to a LOTTTTT of concerts in my life, but in my opinion, he has one of the most melodic, iconic and beautiful voices of all time. He is just super talented. If you get the chance to hear him live, do it and don't hesitate.

It was one of the best nights I ever had. It was my first concert, and I went with my friend. We had such a good time, it was a blast! Awesome performer! It was soooo much fun!! Totally want to go again. Thanks Forrest!

I was not in attendance but would have liked to have been there. Has someone posed as me and attended under my name? The Pentatonix concert was amazing! The VIP experience was quite nice with a designated concession and restroom facilities from the general public made the price and experience worthwhile. The deck parking was pleasant too since it did not take nearly as long to find a parking spot and to exit out of the venue and parking area compared to State Farm, Mercedes Benz and Chastain Park. It was a very lovely experience and evening spent with my sister as our holiday treat together.

Sturgill was beyond amazing!!! The last time we got to see him was 2020 in this same venue and he was just as incredible both times!!! Playing non stop for the three hours, taking us on an amazing groovy journey all through his breath taking catalogue of music along with some classic covers!!!! If you have the means or opportunity his show is not to be missed. If I could I would follow this tour around and see every show. Hands down best show I’ve ever been to.

This was my second time seeing Greta Van Fleet and they never fail to amaze me! This show was phenomenal including the opening acts as well! If you love Rock & Roll I would suggest seeing this band! Their music is fantastic and every member of the band has such amazing talent!

Bravo for starting the show with Amazing Grace and a bit of Scripture! Great show! Easy access to the venue with e-tickets and quick security screenings. OAM was GREAT. What a down-t0-earth show with tons of like-minded fans. Thanks for doing Georgia On My Mind and Simple Man!! This was a lovely break from livin' in the new world and a reminder that there are many old souls around us every day.

This amazing young woman does not disappoint. Her heart touching lyrics and unique voice are spectacularly different. Alexandra Kay truly cares about her fans. She puts so much time into interaction with us all it's amazing. Love this woman I am a lifetime fan.

I've been listening to Woodz since 2021 and didn't really think I'd get a chance to see him live. Well it happened. My favorite song is Different. it was the furst one i heard of him thanks to Spotify. Anyways, the check-in process at Gas South Arena was very easy and the staff was really nice and knowledgeable about what was going on with the show. By far Gas South Arena is the best at handling kpop concerts. On to soundcheck...it was nice. They sat us in the floor section and i was in the middle in the 2nd row. Very clear view of the stage. The band came out first, then Woodz. He has the most adorable smile and gives such warm energy. He's really so sweet, it'll make your heart melt. He was very fun and he sung different songs, interacted with the fans, read signs. It was a good time. Showtime. The addition of a live band really made the show besides Woodz' honeylike vocals. His voice is really amazing. The various genres of songs he has is great too. I started headbanging on some of the rock songs and on others Iw as dancing and singing. There was a section where the band played, literally shredding the guitar. It was lovely. Then they went into Kiss of Fire, Feel like and Different. I may have the sequence wrong but that particular section was amazing to behold. Sadly, my dusty Samsung phone died on me while I was recording Kiss of Fire. Heartbreak. But again the show was amazing! The crowd had great energy which he fed off of and gained energy from. He gave his all on that stage. The band too. Hi-Wave. So the Hi-Wave went fast. We went in single file line and walked by anad waved to Woodz. His voice was sore so they said he wouldn't sleak much but he did manage to speak lightly. He's really handsome and gives the most beautiful smile ever. I did the group photo. It was fun seeing other groups go. He really did a jumpscare on one which had me laughing during my photo. I adore Woodz. Go see him. He's great.

“It was my first ‘Georgia Jam’, an all day indoor event (1 pm—11 with 11 bands). Having received a list of stage times from a prompter I stealthily arrived in time for just the bands I wanted to see: Atlanta Rhythm Section 5:00-5:50, Pat Travers Band 6:05-6:50, Michelle Malone 7:05-7:40, Drivin N Cryin 7:50-8:45, Mother’s Finest 8:55-9:45, Jefferson Starship 10:00-11:00. Groupon was my friend scoring a pair of lower bowl seats half price after which I upgraded myself to row 1 side-stage left! There was to be far too much happening to write a full rundown of everything transpiring on stage hence my abridged rendering centers around Pat Travers. 2022 has been good to me for seeing guitar heroes live: Joe Bonamassa, Neal Schon, Tab Benoit, now Pat Travers, and a Jeff Beck gig coming up in October. So what’s the tie-in with the Canadian rocker to Georgia? Striving to revive the Jam tradition of 70’s and 80’s gone by, organizers sought out Travers who had played the event in the past. PTB ended up penciled in post-organization replacing the Georgia Satellites. The trio took the stage late cutting their set time down from 45 to a mere 30 minutes, the shortest actual stage time of any band the entire day. ‘My name’s Pat Travers, this is my band, and we’re gonna kick your a**, Alright?!’ The kick-off song began, 1977’s ‘Rock ’n’ Roll Susie’, loud and driving. One would swear Pat was playing to a stadium of 50,000 people in lieu of a quarter filled hockey arena, the 68 year old performer exhibiting no lack of energy. He wasted no time swapping out guitars each song, the one Fender never left his person from backstage to backstage. His combo Strat and Marshall stack echoed classic rock tones that are a rarity to hear live now-a-days. He announced the title cut from his newest album ‘Art Of Time Travel’ released last Friday which was just that, a trip back in time. For a minute or two the guitar feed cut out on Pat and David Pastorius on bass (formerly Carl Palmer’s ELP) continued ad lib showing us how skilled he truly is, all the while Alex Petrosky held tight the rhythm on the kit. The final song was ‘Boom Boom, ‘Do ya feel like makin’ some noise? Yeah’, in which Pat showed off some windmill moves reminiscent of Pete Townsend and Pastorius even exhibited some hammer and tap on the four string! The man is so humble, ‘My name is Pat Travers’ he concluded the show, I’m like ‘Yeah you are!’. I overheard one ‘hammer head’ standing in front of me as Pat left the stage saying, ‘My (concert) list is now complete.’ You betcha I’d pay good money to see a full length show any time! Michelle Malone from Atlanta was next up compacting highlights of a 30 year career in a little over half an hour. The local crowd favorite noticed the clock, ‘I wonder how time I really have, is it 7 min? Do you wanna rock?’ Michele broke into a minute of Neil Young’s ‘Hey Hey, My My’. She had the whole Young sound package complete with harmonica. Next was Drivin N Cryin also Atlanta based and on the scene since ’86, one of those bands I’d likely have remained unfamiliar with if I had remained residing up North. ‘Thank you for inviting us to your house party’, the 61 year old Kevin Kinney’ called out. They put on a heck of a full hour long performance opening with their 1991 #15 hit ‘Fly Me Courageous’ dedicated to our military. I didn’t know quite what to expect but when they broke into some fine southern rock dual lead guitars about 3 songs in, I was definitely feeling it. Following was Georgia Hall Of Fame’s Mother’s Finest going on 20 minutes late but completing the full set.The 74’ish’ year old founder, Joyce ‘Baby Bean’ and vocalist ‘Doc’ Murdock’ (also a founding member from 1972) put on a lively show leaving the stage a hard act to follow. At one point original guitarist Moses Mo put on his own show lying down on his back like a dead man while Kennedy motioning the sign of the cross revived him back on foot. He then busted out into a segment of Wilson Pickett’s ‘Land Of 1000 Dances (the Na-na-na-na song) performing a solo with his teeth. Atlanta Rhythm Section, my 3rd time seeing them in a 14 month span began the evening delivering the goods (a 9 song set) with class despite guitarist David Anderson being sidelined with Covid. It was all okay, the band’s guitarist since ’76 Steve Stong made up for it with an extended solo on ‘So Into You’. Founding singer Rodney Justo cheered on the what he called a ‘small but mighty’ crowd, his vocal performance as good as ever. The headliner Jefferson Starship, my 6th favorite all time band (in all it’s variations) rounded off the evening. In my numerous times seeing them perform live it was my first time NOT seeing them front row floor, proof that there is indeed a first time for everything. I was actually excited to finally hear the music over the main system opposed to coming off the stage monitors. So what’s the tie in with the California band and Georgia? We’ll there really isn’t one except that GA native Mickey Thomas of ‘Starship’ (and a member of J.S. ‘79-‘84) was originally slated to play but due to a contracted gig at Sandy Springs GA he was prohibited to perform. Hence the substitution. Based on an Atlanta Rhythm Section post, I half expected Mickey Thomas to join in on stage which would’ve been a landmark event considering drummer Danny Baldwin once upon a time had rearranged his face altering the course for the two individual bands permanently. The band muscled through 11 hits one after another in the one hour set. Of note guru of the band David Freiberg celebrated his 84th birthday Wednesday and took the lead vocals on Runaway, With Your Love, and on Jane (which by the way he also wrote). David goes all the way back to Quicksilver Messenger Service and the latter years of Airplane and is a rock n roll legend in truth. I can not go without mentioning the tremendous job Cathy Richardson did on vocals (as she has the last 14 years, Slick being a tough act to follow), and Jude Gold one of my favorite guitarists to see Live. Their roadie ’Todd’ (an audience favorite) made a typical appearance on stage, Michele & I led the chant: ’Todd, Todd, TODD, TODD!’ ‘Somebody To Love’ was the final song, everyone on their feet. Eleven-Thirty concluded the event, only a half hour over schedule even after all the sets and stage turns, that’s pretty amazing. All in all, in my opinion the event was a success, let’s hope this evening ignited a new fire overall in the Jam’s legacy. I know I’ll be looking forward to 2023’s line-up!” by DAve (Concert #692)

The show was lit!! KB came out strong. The base was insane and his lyrics were awesome! He straight ministered. My husband was so loving it!!! He has been in the dumps, but KB gave him hope, a new outlook and a refresh love in Christ. Thank you!!!!!!

There are no words to describe how incredible this show was. It was literally a dream come true to be able to see these members and hear them perform. It’s been 2 weeks and I am still in awe, it was such a special time. I hope they come back to Atlanta soon, I miss them :,(

I have been to five different kpop concerts but this one was by far the best concert. The only complaint I had was that for the Gold VIP, there wasn’t really anything super special. Other groups have made the VIP tickets really special. However, the concert part itself was amazing!!! It was entertaining, professional and the group had a personal connection with the fans that not every kpop group has!!!

The show was amazing! Even though it was two hours long, it flew by so quickly. Like Mark said, we enjoyed ourselves so much that we wanted to be with each other even longer. Each member was fantastic - together and solo. I even gained new appreciation for the younger members who I don't know as well as their sunbaes. You could tell that they not only worked hard but that they LIVED for performing. And everyone contributed their strengths. Special thanks to the hyung/sunbae line - I've been wanting to see you all live for a long time! Whoever was in charge of graphics and special effects... 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 you captured the mood of each song and the vibe of each member so accurately and artistically. I also want to shout-out the audience. I'm very proud of us. We showed up and showed out to support our loves. We def need to do better on fanchants (seems like it's not part of the culture yet because the fandoms are still learning the material of members they didn't previously follow... But the hyung/sunbae line deserved so much more from us). Despite that, (paraphrasing Mark again) I do think that we gave the members infinite energy lol. They told us that they were nervous, and Taemin wasn't feeling well; but I think that we supported them through it effectively. The performances felt flawless; the nerves were not recognized at all. And Taemin... we heard you! You said your mic is on! Thank you for reciprocating that energy for us even though you were under the weather. I never post for "memories" on this app. But I really wanted to share this historic moment (because it really is an incredible moment. It's the closest the US has gotten to SM's version of Bad Boy family tours lol). Know that I'm grateful. Know that I hope to see you again next year (and every other possible year lol). Amazing show. Didn’t know what to expect as this is not my typical genre of music. Great orchestra and Josh was very entertaining. The floor seats were uncomfortable though. No leg room and people sitting on top of each other.

One of the absolute best concerts I’ve been to my only complaint is that on the line up ARIZONA was listed first so we thought they would be playing and went to eat but in reality Haylee Kiyoko was first and unfortunately we missed all of her set except the last song

amazing show, very energetic and it was great to watch everyone interact on stage. never a dull moment and everyone always looked like they were having the time of their life, one of the top 3 shows I've been to.
