Great venue with friendly staff. We parked at the carpark opposite the Barbican. It's a good idea to prepay then you don't have to queue after the event. The show includes a great band, 2 fantastic singers who played and sang so many hits from the 60s. Tony told stories from his days on the pirate radio ships, meeting singers and his jokes! A really enjoyable evening.
Such an amazingly fun gig! Loads of energy from the lads and everyone was having such a great time. The band were smiling throughout and it put a smile on my face to see them all so happy. Loved the brass trio as well. Really added to the fun party vibes. Thank you all for such an awesome time!
Incredible. DIVORCE were a brilliant support, warming-us up for a really friendly, joyous set from BBC. Their smiles really highlighted how much that can make a gig more fun! I mainly loved the stuff from their most recent album, My Big Day, but my partner loved it all!!!
Fabulous live singer! Worked the audience & encouraged participation- We were singing, & dancing all night. Also seemed humble & a very nice person - Brilliant!!
One of the most incredible gigs I’ve ever attended! I’ve attended two lecture/solo performances by Einar Selvik at Jorvik but have longed to see Wardruna live for many years. I was not disappointed! The sound was superb. Wardruna sound every bit as amazing live as on their albums which proves their skills, talent and integrity. And they played my favourite, Solringen.
The set and lighting was wonderful. And the Barbican a great performance space for this type of band. Big enough to get the atmosphere and vibe but also intimate enough to feel that I was really there with Wardruna. ❤️
They did not disappoint, I was entertained the whole way through. It was a great set list with a good mix of some of the oldies and the new stuff. What a fantastic night, I loved it. Ash were excellent too, a great opening gig. I’m looking forward to getting my hands on Dreams on Toast at the end of March.
Waited 20 odd years to see Jamie live and its fair to say he did not disappoint!!
Such a talented guy with great stage presence, had everyone on their feet by the end of the show. Played a great mix of old & new stuff - not one bad track.
Great support act too in Billy Locket.
With such a rich back catalogue I was disappointed by the set list, whilst its great that he is still releasing new material, it would have liked to have heard more of his all time classics. For this reason 3 stars.
Absolutely great gig, 3 of us went and thoroughly enjoyed! Beck is extremely skilled and we loved seeing Johnny Depp as a special guest! Unforgettable evening and highly recommend to all
