Powerhouse are delivering world class concerts and experience
Eric was fantastic and still going strong at his age. He is a very funny man, and the band compliments his humour.
The venue was excellent
Been waiting 40 years to see him and was not disappointed!!
Loved it, beautiful passionate voice, awesome musicians. Great mix from their first albums up until current. Brisbane, be ashamed, the crowd was terrible. Perhaps that’s why they don’t rush to come back here .
Such a life changing concert experience. Everyone dressing up with a theme made me feel so connected to everyone around me, as well as the fact everyone did the HOT TO GO dance.
Chappell was phenomenal. it was a dream come true to see her live and would sell my soul to see her again.
Chappell Roan and supporting act Sellma Soul and Scarlet Fever Drag Act
Brisbane Powerhouse Theatre – Brisbane 25 November 2023
The beautiful Brisbane Powerhouse theatre venue was treated to an uplifting and joyful rock performance by Chappell Roan and her incredible band touring the new album “The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess” and her supporting act Sellma Soul and Scarlet Fever Drag Show.
The Powerhouse theatre was the perfect setting for this intimate and surprising show. It was surprising for so many reasons. It was one of the biggest audiences to attend an event at the Powerhouse theatre with over 1000 hardcore fans in attendance (everyone except for Harry knew every song). There was a Drag Show before a rock band performance which is pretty unique for Australian audiences – and not just any ordinary Drag Show but one with artists performing original material and demonstrating to a new generation the art behind the act. And, Chappell, herself, was very unwell but she did not cancel the show – she went on and what an amazing performance she gave to her fans and audience.
Chappell Roan then came to the stage to perform just about the whole of the “The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess” debut album with a very tight band of professional musicians. The musicianship, song writing skills and performance “PJ party” on display was terrific even though she was visibly unwell. She launched into performing her debut album and surged off the energy of the very committed fan base into: ‘Coffee’, ‘Red Wine Supernova’, ‘Hot To Go!’, ‘Super Graphic Ultra Modern Girl’, ‘My Kink Is Karma’, ‘Kaleidoscope’ and ‘Pink Pony Club’. But where she really shone was on ‘Casual’ and ‘Picture You’: perfectly executed and really bold pop songs. A great night!
Third time I've seen this purple little f*ck, and he gets better every time. Great show. Can't wait to see him back again.
It was amazing to be at the concert where Dami launched her new EP, In Between.
She sang all the songs from the album.
A lovely medley of songs from X factor.
Plenty of old favourites. Ending with Sound if Silence. Always a show stopper.
It was a smaller venue but a sold out show, so there was a great atmosphere.
Wonderful concert.
She also did signing off EPs after the show.
Dami is an amazing performer, with an exceptional voice, but she's also down to earth and appreciates her loyal fans.
Brilliant artist. The concert was intimate and we thoroughly enjoyed the stories Stephan shared with the audience.
Was great to see her live, I haven't heard much of here newer music but she has a wonderful stage presence & is amazing live, beautiful woman, I enjoyed her new songs but so pleased she sung her older hits too.
Fantastic, as usual. A wonderful musician and consummate storyteller.
Excellent performance 10/10! Great warm up act too. Simon was full of great anecdotes, stories and had the crowd laughing the whole show. I would recommend and I would definitely see him again.
