One to the greatest concerts ever! With some of the nicest people on earth! The lead singer Wayne Coyne is vying for the most inspirational man to have ever walked the planet and he and the band are all about ‘Love, Love, Love!’ . Every song was phenomenal and the amazing light display, pink robots and every other mind-boggling thing that occurred was overwhelmingly incredible! Loved the show, absolutely awesome!!! Oh, and people from all age groups attended, As a father, for the first time ever paired up at a concert I went there with my 20-year old daughter who didn’t have too much of an inkling of who the Flaming Lips were and she, via the words being displayed on the screen behind the band (brilliant!) sang along with all the songs and screamed her lungs out throughout the night. This will be remembered as one of greatest highlights of our lives. “C’mon, c’mon, c’mon!!” (If you were there you’d get it🤩)
Great show, I loved how the roots would break out into a little James Brown or Donald Byrd midway through a song. Taleb Kwali was also great. My only gripe was that the high and mid ranges were quite muddled coming from the speakers and the high range was often too sharp, leaving my ears ringing. But it didn’t spoil a great night.
I was meant to be along for the ride, taking my eldest. From the moment we arrived, you could tell it was going to be a special concert. The freedom of self expression from a huge cross section of people was a good indicator.
Then the support acts were awesome and lovely and then came the main event. Every song was brilliant. The talent exceptional. The overall message of love, unity and keeping on going through life’s ups and downs was uplifting. It was a transcendent moment of a lifetime! 💕
This was such sn awesome experience. The Q&A panels and workshops were great (tent was a bit small though) and all bands played smashingly and had an awesome vibe.
The entry was a bit later than expected but no massive issue. Great overall experience!
Coheeds neverender did not fail to entertain. Periphery tore the roof off and had an epic pit. Leprous came all the way from Norway and killed it. Intervals were a welcome sound playing some technical instrumental oeog metal stuff. Finally Novelists were an amazing opening set. They played awesomely and hailing from France brought some of their awesome vibe over! (They came out to merch stand after aswell for some pictures and chats)
A TRULY EXCELLENT PERFORMANCE BY THE AMITY AFFLICTION OF LET THE OCEAN TAKE ME ALBUM. THEY NAILED IT. ALSO A TOP NOTCH GIG BY WE CAME AS ROMANS AND A BIG MENTION FOR THE KILLER SET BY ICE NINE KILLS, IT WAS MY FIRST TIME SEEING THEM LIVE AND I CANNOT WAIT TO SEE THEM AGAIN. THEY WERE BADASS. BUT THE MAIN ACT WAS TAA AND THEY WERE AWESOME AND RATED A TH1RT3EN OUT OF TEN.
I loved the show! Great how they were passing out water for people on the floor. Took me over 2 hours to get in the place. Wasn't clear on what was happening and when it was starting. Overall was an amazing show and can't wait to see Madison net time she comes to Sydney!!!
I just had to reach out to express how absolutely awesome The Struts are! Before attending your concert, I had never even heard of them, but from the moment I walked away, I was instantly hooked. Their music resonated with me in a way that's hard to put into words—I've gone all in and bought every vinyl, CD, and piece of merch I could get my hands on. Now, I find myself eagerly awaiting their return to Australia, counting down the days until I can experience that incredible live energy again. Their talent, passion, and sheer musicality have left a lasting impression on me, and I can't thank them enough for creating such amazing music.
A boogie himself performed well, and it was a good night.
Lots of guest artists performed.
Wish the venue was 18+ though, a lot of underage people attended and they were all immature, pushing and punching on, cutting in line and acting like little rats. There needed to be more security as they did not have control over the crowd and lines.
Great concert.
Mike Patton certainly lived up to his standing as the male rock singer with the greatest vocal range (6 Octaves) with his outstanding performance.
The band were very tight ss well, particularly lead guitarist (Trey Spruance) and drummer (Dave Lombardo), both of whom were brilliant (Trevor Dunn and Scott Ian were also solid as ever).
Great night out.
Melvins went hard, put on a great show.
Mr Bungle came on and blew everyone away, great combination of metal, humour, and fabulous covers. Last saw them in 2000, still put on an amazing show.
Don’t hesitate to get tickets if they tour near you
A blistering set by the rock god and his incredible band, boy did they deliver a hip swinging, head banging masterclass in rock’n’roll swagger. Josh’s voice only gets better. And he was in a naughty mood… some fans won’t forget getting so “close” to him during Straight Jacket Fitting. He was lucky to get back out of the crowd fully clothed. QOTSA have to be the ultimate rock band, they can pulverise you one minute and sex you up the next. Hot hot hot. Can’t wait for the next show.
The Darkness were fantastic.
These lads really know how to put on a real Rock Show.
The band were very tight, Justin Hawkins' falsetto never wavered throughout and his guitar playing were electric, showing he is not just an incredible frontman but also an outstandingly talented guitarist.
The 3 support acts (Cry Club, DZ Deathrays and You Am I's Spinal Tap Tribute) also delivered good performances.
The Amity Affliction put on an amazing show no matter the size of the venue! Been a fan since I was 13 and have not been disappointed the 2 times I saw them (Good Things 2022 + Not Without My Ghosts Tour)
Expect flames, an amazing mix of lights, smoke and LED screen displays.
This was honestly the most incredible metal concert I’ve ever been to! Being able to witness the sheer power and emotion of Polaris in their hometown was nothing but unforgettable. The atmosphere was incredible and the whole experience was just unexplainable. Jamie did an absolutely incredible job of leading the band, Dan absolutely destroyed it on the drums, Jesse absolutely killed it on the lead guitar, And the bassist and rhythm guitarist were amazing as well. I was blown away at all of the lighting and the effects, and overall the sound crew and effects crew did an incredible job!!
pierce the veil was amazing but they didnt play for long. only like 7 songs. ptv shouldve played more songs than beartooth. everyone was too close and i got pushed and fell twice. there were drunk and high sweaty people rubbing against me cause we were so close. the singer of beartooth didnt care what was happening.
Amazing to see these bands live! Had such a great time, PTV and Beartooth both put on an incredible show. Unfortunately missed the majority of Dayseeker’s set despite having lined up 1.5hrs early, which falls more on the venue’s shoulders for allowing only 30 minutes between doors & start time for a sold out show with a popular opening act.
Was an amazing experience, my first time at one of their concerts. Mitchel and Christian were very vigilant about safety and everyone standing was looking after each other, which was really nice to see. Would gladly go again and relive the experience if I could. Hope they come back to Sydney!
I got sick and couldn’t go I really wanted to go and see you guys perform I got mosh pit tickets I was excited since I was waiting six months but I didn’t want to get anyone else sick I was wondering when will come back to aus hopefully next time I can see you guys in person and in mosh pit love you all. 🤍
One of the best shows I've been to in my life, thanks BPM! Saw them last in 2010 in Sydney as a support act and the difference in these 12 years has blown my mind. So lucky to feel like I've seen them grow and change as a band, these guys are naturals...Will be back again!
My concert of the year so far. The boys were so tight and took us with them on a journey through all of their albums. Loved them walking on to Helter Skelter, and then Longshot is a Brilliant opener. 2 All, Outside, Fluctuate and 7 was an awesome way to close the main set. Great crowd, brilliant show. Thanks Lads.
