This was my very first concert, and omg was it worth waiting for, first off we had the fab The Bronx as support act, who were great at getting the crowd going, then we were treated to the very awesome Sum41, who surpassed any ideas I had, the crowd got so entertained, i saw my first mosh pit, they sang some of my favourite songs, I'm more heavy metal, so the fact they busted out some amazing new songs from their Heaven x Hell album was fantastic. My partner is a massive fan and ended up tearing up as they sang With Me. Was the best night ever, I'm so upset they're disbanding
Finally got to see them, had ticket for Paris thinking it was the last European gig. Managed to switch to Leeds. The gig didn’t disappoint but it’s sad to see the end of Sum 41. Enjoyed the ride guys.
Amazing show from Alice and his band always the absolute show man 5/5
A very odd choice of support bands
The Meefs a punk duo who were good at getting the audience engaged 4/5
(even though it isn’t my kind of music )
and then
Primal scream playing an 80s disco, psychedelic type music that really took the energy that the Meefs had generated away from the audience a local amateur band could have done better 2/5
Lol, i didnt know he vaped, was begging for money, very funny. Kinda like a middle aged white guy but not middle aged just acts and sounds like it .
Loved it so much on Sat night bought tickets on Sun m for Sunday show. Fabulous again and this time really close to front, even got waves from Nadine, Nicola and Kimberley. I love this group I will never tire of them. Well done girls one very happy lady.
Pure class from start to finish. I e been a massive fan of these girls since the start. Well done girls you did Sarah proud and I really enjoyed the show 10/10
An absolute belter of a gig! ES never fail to put on an absolutely amazing show and it’s great to see them in a larger arena venue- lighting crew are stars!!!
Really loved this gig it was worth the wait due to the pandemic . I finally got to see one of my favourite bands . Loved the fact everyone at times were singing with the band , loved that they zoomed into different areas of the crowd and saw the crowds reactions was entertaining , before the gig and loved Caleb’s interaction with the crowd , I was part of the lively bunch at the top haha , from what I remember him saying . the lights were amazing , even though I was on the highest seating I got a great view . Great night a lot of dancing , amazing songs played and a night I won’t forget
Superb show DD had the whole arena up excellent evening
Le Bon still has tbe voice to hit all the notes and rolled back tbe years
Band was tight and in it stage set was really cool
We all thoroughly enjoyed it and said tbe best gig of the year so far
Who is going to leave anything less than 5 stars!?!
Superb gig, DD were fantastic and the set list didn't disappoint.
Arena event staff were brilliant, the place is modern clean and well organised.
Loved every minute of it, took me back to Leeds Queens Hall 1983 where we had to queue all day for the sprint to the front of the stage. The life was nearly squashed out of me. I felt like I was 14 all over again, so exciting.
Don Broco never fail to bring the best energy to their shows. Put on an incredible performance. This was the second time I saw them and they were just as good as I remember. Great setlist and did the songs justice so well as always. Will always recommend seeing them 🦖🔥
These guys always kick ass. All the charisma and prowess of the best. If only the Foo Fighters could have someone up front who could capture an audience this well, they might be as large.
Gigs should be overblown, they should be epic and they shouldn't ever take the thing too seriously.
In a world that seems to have forgotten how to collectively enjoy themselves, we have The Darkness to remind us all once more.
Two and a half hours of swirling pop-goth-rock-indie-acouticic-electronica. From the dark, broody, heavy sounds of 'Burn' 'A Forest' and "Edge of the Deep Green Sea" to the shimmering melodic pop perfection of 'Friday I'm in Love', 'Push' and 'Just Like Heaven' it was all absolutely awesome!
Rob lost his voice at the end of the gig, but he gave the audience their money’s worth. Some tracks went on too long and it felt like being at a prog rock gig, rather than a goth gig. Really enjoyed it overall.
I was expecting it to be good, but just how good it was kinda blew me away. The band were excellent and Amy's piano playing was a delight. She's still got the voice as well. Looking forward to Download.
Absolutely amazing night a life changing experience out of all my gigs definitely one that will stick with me above all, couldn't take anything away so glad I finally got to see them and share the experience with my dad who missed them 20 years ago
The backing singers, brass section and Mince were absolutely faultless and put a huge effort into entertaining the crowd, however, it felt like Barry and Jon were “going through the motions” and didn’t really want to be there. Jon barely engaged with the crowd and Barry spent most of the gig with his back to the crowd. Whistle for the Choir - probably the most well loved of their tunes, was barely recognisable as it was delivered in a very dark acoustic fashion. The crowd responded with gusto to Chelsea Dagger but I’m sad to say that we were left feeling a bit deflated after looking forward to the gig immensely. Kaiser Chiefs and the support band The Sherlocks were superb, however, and really entertained on the night.
From the banging dance intro through a non-stop barrage of hit songs, great vocals, costume changes, a tech glitch and a huge amount of fun to the closing bars this was just feel-good at its best.
What an amazing performance. Never seen Barry live before but understand the responses I’ve heard now. He is phenomenal.
The laughter and excitement he showed when his piano didn’t work “this has NEVER happened before!” was total joy, no diva. He danced across the stage and the when they called him back he was in amazing spirits.
Song after song landed with the hit accuracy of a master showman. No 5 minute pause for ovation, but tbh he had so many looooonnnng applauses throughout that we’d have still been going at midnight.
What a way to end the UK Hits 2022 tour. It SAID Farewell on the posters originally but that ain’t happening any time soon!!!!
The performance was incredible! When she started singing How far I'll go, literally everyone was crying. It was so amazing, all her songs are so powerful and relatable. Definitely recommend. X
Brilliant gig. First time seeing them as a headliner and they were fantastic. Tobias Forge is one of the top frontmen of this generation and the band were extremely tight. Travelled from London to see them and the trip was well worth it.
