This was the best show of the 3 by far! The audience was well into the music, and the orchestra fed onto the energy as well! I forget the Main Flautist's name, but she is PHENOMENAL!! All 3 days she banged out Ray Thomas' flute parts, Really made the show! The Go Now! guys are outstanding, and they are worth every penny they make, as they NEVER just "phone in" a show. We have seen them numerous times (Omaha, Philly, Albuquerque, Detroit, Ft. Wayne, etc.) and they are the "Real Deal". They always come out after a show to just talk to you, sign anything and everything or just take a picture with you. Dallas was lucky to have these guys.
We were front-row-center for all 3 shows. Mick, Gordy & even at times, Patrick would acknowledge us, winking, nodding. I had bought a set of drum sticks after the 1st night, telling Gordy that I would only do so if he personally signed the sticks (they had a machine signature already on them) and if he would play them during the 2nd night's show. He did!! He grabbed them from my wife as they entered the stage, played them on the 1st song (I Know You're Out There Somewhere), but then switched to his regular sticks. After the concert, he gave me back the sticks, apologizing that he only used them for the 1st song because the weight was very different than his usual sticks. Totally understandable! What a Class Act thee gents are!!
These guys are absolutely PHENOMENAL!! These guys ROCK, regardless of who is behind them (the DSO). The first 2 nights, the orchestra was so-so, but by Sunday, they were having fun, too.
Unbelievably authentic…. The “GO NOW” band was formed by the former drummer that played with the Moodies for 25 years, Gordy Marshall! And the vocalists were stupendous!!
Add the symphony & we got the FULL Moodies experience!!!
This was a fantastic concert
The band was amazing
But... The Dallas Symphony Orchestra was beyond belief
We could not have been prouder of their performance
The young lady on the flute for "Nights in White Satin"
was absolutely outstanding
We hope they perform a Christmas Carol show as we will be there to see it
Probably one of the best concerts we’ve ever attended! Both artists are genius, the orchestra was magical, and the venue was perfect. Absolutely gorgeous. We brought our four young children who are growing up with all their music, and they were enchanted.
Could not recommend this more. By far the coolest concert I've ever seen, my face literally hurt from smiling the whole time! Both of these guys have beautiful music and beautiful voices, and getting to see a live professional symphony - playing some of my all-time favorite songs, no less - was an incredible experience.
Cody and Ben were fantastic. They compliment each other phenomenally. The Dallas symphony accompanying their music was truly magical.
the best performance i’ve ever seen. by a landslide!
Incredible!! Seems that word doesn’t even do this concert justice! Cody, Ben and Symphony Orchestra left me in tears (emotional experience that was good) most of the time. I was blown away. What a fantastic experience!!
Everything about this show was amazing! I didn't want the night to end! Would see the artist again and will definitely be returning to see the Dallas Symphony again!
What an enchanting evening. Loved every minute of it. Will see them live again ~
Cody, watching you perform photograph live was amazing! I performed that piece for my first piano recital.
The most down to earth and well written songs I have ever heard in a concert. Ben Rector is somebody that is a must see. Hope he never stops doing tours, but he said he had a kid recently and would do them less frequently!!! That’s amazing honesty with fans and listeners.
incredible - phenomenal musicians that create something unique and extraordinary when they are together.
The show was awesome as usual. Gary was great with the crowd and his voice never sounded better. The band was very good too. The show was a blast and the location was beautiful!
It was Fucking badass! The venue allowed for maximum potential for all the sounds!!
The Oleta Adams show was awesome!!! She is one of my most favorite singers!!! I love her rich, strong, yet velvety voice, her choice of songs, and I love her interaction with the audience, in between her songs!!! She is so gifted, talented and an amazing performer!!! This was my fourth (4) time attending her concert! I so appreciate the Meyerson and Mr. Curtis King for bringing her to the Dallas/Fort Worth area! I look forward to her return, soon!! God bless her, and God bless you for hosting her in our city!
It was a night to remember! Dave shook my hand as he walked down the aisle playing that hot sax!!!
Ayyyyyyeeeeee!!! My first time seeing him in concert & if God spares my life, it certainly will not be my last!!!! Dave & Friends put on a phenomenal show!!! Soooooo GLAD I was able to attend!! I was blessed to get an autographed CD as well as the most HANDSOME/BEAUTIFUL pic of ALL except one!!!
I actually gave his show rating 5 Stars but somehow it only registered as 4.5!!! ❤️❤️❤️ Dave Koz & Friends “Summer Horns II..
To be continued...
